So. Here is my question. If you take current team and add AJ green and von miller...could we win the superbowl? I say yes. So what would the cost be? My guess is a first and a 3rd. Maybe we swap some later picks too. If so. And we believe allen is the guy. And we have our D under contract next year. We have our 2 receivers under contract as well as our tight ends. We also have singletary. We also have a ton of cap room. So the core of this team...which is pretty good will be back next year no matter what and yes we will have less draft picks but we have money to add pieces via free agency again on short term contracts. So nothing lost really. If you could make these trades knowing that this team is still a 10-6 team next year...would you make a run at the cost of a top WR and lineman in the draft? Keep in mind. We will be picking mid 20s likely so the picks aren't slam dunks. To me. We need to try and win it this year.

Was Josh Allen faster last season ?

Essentially the new blocking scheme focuses on letting the DEs go upfield and creating more of a traditional pocket. Last year the tackles tried to hit the ends...not run them out of play. By doing this josh has less direct holes to hit when things break down. -
We've scored TDs on 10 of 14 redzone trips??

Can't recall this being posted but heard it this AM. That's how you win in this league score touchdowns when given opportunity and play good defense. A testament to the coaching on this team as 'the herd' said. He also said this is best D in the league.

Sure this contributes but the blocking scheme now hurts his ability to take off. -
Reasons to not feel so bad about Patrick Mahomes

Easy. Allen and white....plus Edmunds. We were able to maneuver around with those picks to get 3 needs. -

Blocking scheme. Last year we blocked straight up...imagine a wall that is straight. So when things broke down he could get past line before D could react. This years scheme creates more of a typical pocket...do he has to run around the end so easier to spy him and cut him off. Better for passing worse for scrambling...as the spy can take easier angles -
So funny. So I went and looked at video and yes. He should have held on. But it was a good play. The funny part is nance. Was he drunk? He said they were picking on Edelman then said it was to Torry Smith. 2 fails on same critical play.

Well we were down singletary so that wasn't really an option.

Deangelo Hall says Tre has been a top 3 corner...

Ah. No. He was following receivers around a lot in his first 2 years and was phenomenal. Hes a good to great man cover guy... -
Depending on the outcome of tomorrows game...AJ Green

To me this all comes down to 1 thing. Does Beane think we could win the superbowl THIS year? If he does...draft picks and money mean nothing. The defense is good enough. Would Melvin Gordon and green make us good enough to beat Patriots? I'd say our chances would increase dramatically... That's the only question beane needs to answer...gut tells me he will put the chips on the table. -
Unpopular take here I'm sure but the biggest reason for the jump for Edmund's is Ed Oliver>Kyle. Love Kyle but he was not good against run late in his career. We continuously got run up the middle against and he quite often jumped the gun and ended up opening a huge hole. Ed does his job. Eats blocks and makes the linebackers job easier. Hughes is also doing a great job of setting the edge which also allows the LBs to make plays.

I think hes actually caught up in building a brand...not football. He even looks out of shape.

Well the fact we are working this early in the bye week I wouldn't he surprised it we see a trade.

Status of AFC: Should Bills Go All In For 2019?
Hebert19 replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. This has been my point in the aj green thread. Especially if you can do it with players like that in the last year or without a huge cap number. Rent AJ green trade for von Miller and go for it all. -

based on poyers reaction and how quickly he returned I am guessing he took one in the nuts. -
Is that number 6...game winning drives?

Like I said I agree he has put us in these situations in some cases but he digs his way out.
