I've been a JP supporter since day 1, but the coaches are calling plays for him to not mess up. His deep throw to Evans was terrible. There are many pressing issues on this team and QB is def one of them.

True, the team is putting JP in great spots (turnovers and kick returns) and he's not doing anything with it. The fact they are not calling plays for him is a reflection on Losman's play.

JP might not have lost us this game, but he's not winning us any games either.

He took that name in the off season to honour a family member who's last name was Baker. I can't remember the exact connection. I notice on NFL.COM on Sunday that on the live game cast it said "London Fletcher-Baker 10 yd INT return for TD". I think they only ones calling him by Baker are guys like Pitts who show up and just see it on the roster. But guys like JOhn Murphy and other Buffalo sportscasters just call him Fletcher.

How about when fans in San Jose booed the National Anthem then a couple nights later fans in Edmonton cheered the US National Anthem???

We are staying the Sat night in Windsor....I was on the Lions website and saw a thing on tailgating at the Eastern Market. They sell it as a safe and secure area. Is it?

I am going to the game this weekend in Mo Town and have heard the tailgating there isn't like it is at the Ralph in the sense there isn't a giant lot surrounding the stadium. Anyone been to a game at Ford Field or anyone else going this weekend that could give some tailgating advice? Ie.-where the best spots are. I'm looking forward to seeing how many Bills fans will be there--could be some with Southern Ont. being so close..... Thanks!

I think the 23 you see in the jersey is just the sleve folded over so you can see the font of the numbers. I seriously doubt they would put the players number on the shoulder as well.

In fact, I was talking to a guy from Boston last month and he was saying that nobody cares about the Bruins and Celtics now, sure the Pats have their following but there it's all Sox Sox Sox. I was pretty surprised--it sounded like the Pats are bigger on a national scale then they are in Boston.
