I think Cook is starting to look pretty good and it shows with where they are putting him in during game situations. Also, hoping Shakir figures things out pretty quick here, as he's shown a lot of good signs. Elam, having faced lots of #1's has been up and down (couple excellent picks and some tight coverage plus giving up a ton of underneath outs) but his athletic ability and apparent work ethic looks like he'll get there eventually. Benford has played solid yet unspectacular so far. Bernard? ehhh. we'll see!
Good post... I dig the handle! Some of my favorite numbers as well.

We have lost 8 straight flips. McDermott always defers.
I assumed Coach decided he wanted to score first sometimes, not that we lost every coin toss this year. That's got to be some kind of record.

We don’t get the number 1 sees in the playoffs and we aren’t going to the super bowl. That’s all I’m saying. And today probably cost us a real shot at it. Also, other teams are going to copy what the Jets did today. This offense is in trouble unless they get something turned around immediately. And this defense still can’t stop the run. Not having Milano sucks and I think we are better off playing Dodson. Edmunds had a chance to really step up today. This defense was pushed around from start to finish.
I get what you're saying and I echo your concerns about the defense.
As for the postseason, I'm a baseball fan and my favorite team and their 101 wins got knocked out by a hot wildcard team that ran all the way to the World Series. We'll just have to see how it plays out. Injuries have without a doubt already affected several teams this year, including our Bills.
As for copying other teams plans, you have to have the personnel... but our defense has looked overmatched at times, getting bled out on runs, screens, and quick hitters. We are dangerously thin on that side of the ball.
Another strong test coming up next week... we'll see how they respond.

Because Frazier refuses to adjust his defense. Said it for a long time, he’s the weak link.I posted earlier that I've liked our ability to adjust in the last year or two. I honestly think we're getting so thin on defense and offensive line, the coaches are limited in what they can try during a game.
Tough loss... I hate the Jests, I get the frustration.
But we've got Josh Allen and if we can make the playoff picture, anything goes. Today's loss (assuming Josh's arm is good) didn't change that.

That’s a mistake I promise you. The Bills never lose a playoff game at home and never win one on the road. You can tell yourself it doesn’t matter all you want…it matters a lot . We might have blown out shot at this thing today. Anyone that down plays this loss is just flat wrong.
It doesn't matter what we want and as fans, what good does it do you to worry and stress about it? Each season is its own war, with battles won and lost.
Our team is 6-2 and it sounds like we're doomed on here. I didn't like the game either but I've been watching this sport long enough to know that week in and week out, games don't go as expected.
I'm concerned about our depth, particularly on defense and whether or not Josh is okay.
I'm not placing bets on the Jests or Fins to win the division because we lost one game on the road to what I consider to be a very tough divisional rival. Our team left at least six sure points on the field in a game they lost by three... and that's with all the other problems.

KC has home field now
Not worried about home field, Super Bowls, or any of that. Got to win a week at a time. Bills need to get healthy (or start having open tryouts) and figure out how to counter these heavy/run offenses.
Offense will be fine... I hope Allen's elbow is okay. That's my biggest concern at the moment.

Tough loss, team loss. Got beat in all phases.
Injuries are mounting up and poor play is magnified.
Got work to do... still like our odds on the season.

No it was never clear… both guys had it at the same time…
I don't see how the tight end ever had more than a finger or two on the ball as they went down. Edmunds had it.

Not last week
Well we won by ten and I'll take that every week of the season.
Green Bay exploited what they could and still lost by ten. Super Bowl XXV comes to mind... Belichick was okay with giving up 100 yards on the ground if it meant winning the game.

Hmmm, not the best first half.
Let's have some adjustments and better play this half
One thing I've been really impressed with the last couple of seasons is the second half adjustments. Our coaching staff does good things in this regard... even Frazier.

How can they clearly say that?
No doubt... definitely shouldn't have overturned the call on the field and the replay showed the ball broke the plane before he was down.
Barely, but it did cross the line.

Our defense was absolutely on point today. A rough spot here and there but they came up aces when needed!
I've gotta give Tremaine Edmunds credit... he's been looking pretty good this year! Made some great plays today. I've been critical of him in the past but he's been getting it done.

The last time I saw him on camera, he looked like he might have been in pain... hope he's okay. Great game from him today.

How much emphasis are these announcers making on the “poyer no call??”
have they been watching??
This from the guys that didn't mention that non-holding call that set up the 1st Baltimore FG. Their crappy network knew it was bad, they didn't show a replay.

The only hope is that this same ravens team choked the game away to Tua.
Maybe blowing huge leads can be their 2022 thing.

How long can you hold a player but not get called? 10 seconds?
Our guys better not try it or we'll find out.

Some of these analysts just can’t wait to turn on the bills it’s so evident in their predictions one supposed ***** in the armor and they’re already picking the other team
Most analysts could double as weather vanes... they just point whichever way the wind is blowing. I skip all of the pregame shows anymore and never waste time on ESPN.

I read an article earlier today (ESPN) that stated:
"But the Dolphins say Tagovailoa passed multiple concussion evaluations -- including one at halftime of the Bills game and each day leading up to Thursday's game, according to NFL chief medical officer Allen Sills."
If he was cleared of a concussion on Sunday and it was the back injury they say, why would they give him a test every day after? Is that protocol? How can one be under concussion protocol if one was deemed not to have a concussion?

Because they'd been letting both teams do that pretty much all day.
