How many refs remember that?
Walt Coleman called that game I believe.
I don't believe the league has it out for the Bills... my post was somewhat in jest... but I see holds, interference, helmet to helmet all the time. I do think the league favors the "good" teams (calls lean their way, benefit of doubt)... just like good pitchers get more flexible strike zones in baseball. It's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Refs won't tolerate anything from the Bills and they never have, so who cares?
It seems to me, the refs have hated the Bills ever since the New England "just give it to them" game. Phillips and Wilson both blasted the officiating after the game as I recall. ?

Seriously I don't blame the refs all that often, but it feels like we are getting late hits and cheap shots ignored. Hyde early on, then Allen and Hauschka? Is this the Hughes punishment?
Good call... the refs are sticking up for their own.

His medium to long range passes are great. Needs to work on the quick hitters.
Which is such a different problem than "can hit the short throws but not the intermediate or deep routes". I really like Allen and hope he's the real deal. We've waited long enough!

Some guys need a CPL years to get acclimated to the NFL.
Clowney took a year or two to hit his stride. I'm hoping Shaq is just getting started.

Allen should take a couple knees and then go hand the ball to Ramsey.
I was shocked to see Ramsey congratulate Allen! I'll bet that hurt the hell out of him. I'll have to give him credit for doing it though.

Apparently the record for penalties in a game is 39 penalties Seahawks/Bucs 1976.
Don't give up... there is more than 8 minutes left in the game.

Why do I feel like this game will end with a Ramsey pick?
If so, I hope it's because a camera man catches him picking his nose.

Love how they bring in the head official on the broadcast to say they'll call a good/quick game from here on out. Gee thanks, it's the 4th quarter now
Can't say I've ever seen that before... Was it Riveron? I can't see the game.

Our ST is trash minus our kicker.
Which has been tough for me because no matter how bad the team has been in the past, special teams is usually one of our bright spots.

LOL. Josh Allen has the mentality of a linebacker.
So did Kelly... one of the things I liked most about his play.

Coleman is my favorite ref-- LOL
Wasn't he the turd responsible for calling the Tuck Rule in the Pats/Raiders playoff game?

Was the drive all on the ground?
One seven yard pass, the rest on the ground.

GoBillsInDallas, I can't speak for everyone but your postgame contributions make you my MVP!
I have to give Beane some credit for bringing different guys in and trying to experiment with the roster. He's trying to make the team better and not sitting on his hands.

Geez guys... the Bills just converted a 3rd and 20! When was the last time you saw something like that??

Murph says bad call, but of course, no replay by CBS.
Has the NFL started ordering no replays on flags or close calls? I've noticed it in different games. Just made me wonder if the league is trying to influence the bumbling perception of the referees. I haven't noticed any conversation about it... just others mentioning it as well.

Not in love just nice to have competence at the position , hopefully he can be a good backup.
As far as Allen learning from the sidelines, he's probably seen more done right today than any of Peterman's or Anderson's starts.
I know we want to see what's he got but I don't want Jacksonville's defense to get better at his expense... and as some will point out, reps can damage a young player if they force him to learn bad habits (bailing early, not trusting reads).
Josh is a raw but talented QB, playing on what could be described as a practice squad offense. Being under constant pressure may not be what we want for him at this stage of his career (like a Jeff George or David Carr). I've been for letting him sit and learn but you need a competent player to watch and a decent line to learn behind. To this point, he's had neither.
I'm not saying that Barkley is a pro bowl talent the Bills stumbled upon, but he looks like the best mentoring option I've seen so far this year.

Me too Happy... I was fearing he would be just another 1st rounder that failed and got shipped out for beans.

The only thing that changed is Matt Barkley. Ponder that!
He's targeted seven different receivers (one of whom was Dawkins), with completions to five (one of whom was not Benjamin).

Thanks referee! I actually think the refs suck all around, they just tend to suck less for teams that sell a lot of jerseys and play in prime time.
