Meanwhile Lamar Jackson is crushing it today. 7/7 almost 200 yards 3TD’s.
Hopefully we'll get the same Dolphins team they're playing against today.

Has there ever been an NFL game where a team didn't run once
All they'll be talking about at the half is how the Jets defense hasn't allowed any yards on the ground.

No respect for Buffalo. I don't think they even showed us in the montage.
I think I saw the forward lateral from the MCM in there... salt in the wound.

He's not smart enough to orchestrate any of this. Don't give him that much credit.
My guess is it was suggested to him and he liked the idea... could have been his agent, his posse, or even Satan... All I know is that he sure looked pleased to be let go by his second team in less than a year.

I don’t suspect that it will go anywhere but that’s what I’ve heard from a few people. NO ONE is happy about this around the league.
It does set a bad precedent... guys that don't like the contracts that bind them can act out, get themselves released, and become free agents with no real fallout. The most talented will always be rewarded. Diva players everywhere are getting ideas.
If the Raiders had exiled him without releasing him, they would still have to pay him, right?
I hate to see a team take a moral stand with a childish player and be punished for doing so... just glad the Bills didn't find themselves where the Raiders are today.

Ah, gotcha... The Bills have a lot of work to do to get into that conversation... better start with the Jets on Sunday!

Were they not already the favorites?

Not surprised in the least. We all KNEW that's where he'd wind up but that doesn't guarantee them anything.
I still don't want him on our team, even if it meant keeping him away from the Patriots. They can have him. I'd much rather like the guys we pull for every week.

The Comeback was awesome and I can't think of a win that felt batter... after that pick 6 to start the second half, I really can't tell you why I stayed in front of the television. So glad I did... that was unbelievable.
row, another game from the 1990 season that made me think the Bills could do anything... the September matchup against Elway and the Broncos. Three touchdowns in under a minute and a half in the fourth quarter. It was crazy.
From the standpoint of seeing the Bills click on all cylinders, the 51-3 Championship game against the Raiders. That game was the best time I've ever had as a fan.

Oh man, I remember that game too! Kelly to Beebe was unstoppable. Good memories!!

This is why I will never ever predict the Bills to beat NE...
I'm with you... It just rarely seems that the Bills are in the same league as the Pats.
Allen's first game against Belichick... he gives great QBs fits so I expected him to have fun with the rookie. I'm sure the defense's job will be to make sure Allen doesn't run. They have better talent and coaching so not a lot of hope that we win enough matchups to make a difference in this game.
I'm hoping the Bills can get competitive before Brady retires... I've gone from wishing to see the Bills win a Super Bowl before I die to wanting to see them beat Brady in no doubt fashion before he leaves the field. 3-29 (with odds on two more losses every year) is absolutely embarrassing and is a stretch of divisional futility that may stand as an all-time record.

Skins won that game in the trenches. Most consistently winning teams do. Which is why this off-season the Bills need to focuson that offensive line first, second and last.
If I remember right, Rypien was only sacked nine times that year... the whole damn YEAR.

Wow. Seems like Allen got most of it in three or four games at that.

I commented on QB play above but Josh was good enough to win this game. I'd point a finger at Special Teams, dropped passes, and conservative coaching.
I HATE Jauron ball... playing not to lose... yuck. I don't want it anywhere near The Process.

Barkley didn't do anything that special to win that game...
That said, Barkley DID hit some key passes EARLY that gave the running game some room, especially that first bomb to Foster. Maybe not special by NFL standards, but special by the standards I've come to expect from watching our team play.
I'm not an Allen detractor at all... I want the kid to be good and I have my fingers and toes crossed. I've seen some good things and I've seen some bad things. I love the way he plays... he has heart and a strong competitive desire (not to be underestimated). He's tough, has a cannon for an arm, and he can very much extend or break plays with his speed and size.
We definitely need to get Allen PLENTY of help on that side of the ball to improve his development and SOON. That development is hard to pursue when his receivers are not even close to sure-handed and he's scrambling behind a rotating cast of sub-par linemen. I don't want him picking up bad habits or "learning how to lose" while we search for the rest of the parts we need on offense.
Still, hope for the future.

He would have been out. His footwork was bad.
I couldn't see it... GameCenter says the throw was wide of the receiver in the rear of the endzone. How close was it?

So much for my Clay bounce back prediction. Absent almost all game again.
And I REALLY want to like Charles Clay. When the camera is in his face, he's very much a player that you want to pull for... he just hasn't been able to contribute on the field in Buffalo. He's had what, three years now? I DREAM of the day we have an impact tight end.

Special Teams are going to be a major concern going into 2019...
I keep telling myself that we just don't have the bodies on the team... some of the guys manning our special teams probably shouldn't be playing at this level. Too much turnover as well... as others have already said, changing placeholders seems to have been a bigger deal than Coach hoped.

Hughes getting held all day.
I don't get to see many of the Bills live games but in the ones I have, it seems like a tackle always has Hughes in a headlock. I guess it's not holding since the lineman isn't using his hands.

I was happy we signed him... I'm married to a Cowboys fan, had to watch many games. He's a good possession receiver and with his speed and elusiveness, can get some YAC.
