I agree completely. I think the only difference in our view is if he's a finished product or not. To be clear, I am not in any way saying he will be good. I'm just still holding on to hope because its not exactly raining options and I want the team to find it's own answers within. That's my dream scenario.

I'll agree he was thrown to the wolves and failed his first test. Was he given proper development? I'd say the Bills track record for developing QBs isn't stellar. I cut him a little slack because the offense was terrible. They fired the OC. The offense scored 3 points in a playoff game. I never expected him to be the one guy to turn around that entire mess. Even Tyrod got murdered a few times on that offense. He threw a few picks and took long sacks and was knocked out of games. In the end I like McDermott a lot and whatever he decides to do I respect. You don't learn to ride a bike without falling down. The best people at thier craft fail at first. I think it's a little unfair to write him off even though people are probably gonna be right. The NFL is no joke man.

I can understand people jumping to conclusions. I myself would like to see more until I'm convinced. I was the same way with Tyrod. When others hated on him I wanted him to become elite. It sucks they probably will be right but I myself think he deserves more of a chance. I would be happy to struggle with any rookie if it meant the team finally having a name at QB. I'd like the thought of actually developing a QB instead of plugging in different guys till we get lucky. I'm on record that I wouldn't hate Peterman starting. My only reason is hope.

What are your two biggest wishes this offseason?

An offence that will score more then 3 points. -
I'll clue you in to something. The entire thing was fabrication to divide and conquer. The more you feed into it the more it controls you the easier you are to manipulate. Mostly everybody is parrots and puppets but a few can see beyond the stage, they can see the puppet master at work.

Eric Wood has career-ending neck injury; will retire

Playing in the NFL at all is a huge feat. This is just a reminder of the true gladiators NFL players are and the sacrifice they give. I wish him the best and hope he can be at peace with the outcome of the battle. -
I couldn't blame them for doing the best they could with what they had. I just think they made fixing the defense a priority. I can understand that. Now they should put serious attention into the offense and scoring points. I think that should be a huge priority. You can't walk away from games only scoring 3 points. I'm not concerned right yet. I trust the process.

I voted SaviorPeterman.

What is it with NE? Why isn't this all cool to see?

Go buy yourself a Patriots hat or jersey and rock on. I don't want to justify your feelings for you. -

Hope he doesn't give any of our super awesome offensive secrets away. -
I didn't forget Nate Peterman. I don't think he got a fair shot. He was thrown in to a tough learning situation. The offence was trash and the OC has been fired. I myself would like to see a little more before I turn sour on him. Hopefully he learned a few things from the disasters he's experienced. I can also agree that I don't see the Bills going all in on one player and calling it a team building experience.

Mayfield may not play in Senior Bowl

You have to be involved and look hungry. This is the big leagues and not at your leisure situation. It would not interest me. -
I don't need them to bring a vet QB in. I don't need them to blow all the draft picks to desperately grab at whatever is left. I'm not gonna live in that fantasy world of quick fixes. The Bills are building a team. They are building a culture. This isn't about one elite player, it's about every player working together as a team. Your all guilty of sleeping on Project Nate Peterman. You give up on a rookie who was thrown into an under performing offense with an OC that they fired. Your gonna hang them 5 picks over his head forever. Everybody is clamouring over some new shiny toys that your gonna turn your back on anyway. Your not ready to share in the growing pains of a rookie QB.

In basketball you don't have dudes running at you full speed ready to wreck your life. Football is a more complex and dangerous sport. Just my opinion on it. I respect all sports but like golf, basketball, baseball and bowling I'll never want to just watch that boring stuff. Hockey and Football are real gladiator battles. I hate Tom Brady but the dude is ancient playing a more intense sport so I voted better than Jordan.

[Vague Title]I believe this.

I don't agree and you failed to convince me with your very detailed post. -
I'm not concerned with it. It doesn't hurt my feelings that they made roster moves and trades to improve the team. I wasn't in the building and I don't have the intricate details behind every move. I think at the very least they did all these moves to set themselves up to be successful in the future. They came in to power and thier vision of a winning team must not of matched and they started adjusting. I don't know if every move made will turn out to be the right one. I just need to see more results before I really can listen to the opinion that the result was bad. If the team starts becoming more competitive next year I won't even think about the cast offs. If we trend down then I'll find myself in agreement that the moves we're bad. That means we haven't found the answer at Head Coach and I'm not there yet. I think people judge those moves to early. I think instead of hanging on to what could have you should allow yourself to have thoughts on what could be. I'm sorry I just think it's to early to judge.

Shady Wants to Keep His "Lil Coins" in 2018
Lfod replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shady is amazing. I don't want anyone reaching into my pockets either. -
I have thoughts and I waited for some one else to make a thread before I expressed it. This isn't even me saying that he's an injury risk. When Kelvin Benjamin came in, he got smacked right on target. I could see the dudes leg vibrate. I seen Tyrod and Peterman get targeted in the head helmet to helmet. At some point some ones gonna go for Teddy's leg. That's all I wanted to say.
-
I misunderstood the premises of the thread. Hapless Bills Fan explained that the thread wasn't based on a trade. I understand better now.

You answered a question I had. Appreciate.

I think he would look amazing in a Bills uniform. I'm wondering. Say 49's would entertain it. Do you think our two first rounders would get it done?
