I figured Gaines was good because it seemed like when he was injured it left plays open to be made. I feel like he's worth something but I couldn't price it. I wouldn't want to see him injured but man it's the NFL and it happens. If I figured he was very injury prone then I have to factor it in. That's the problem. I wouldn't have any idea if he would miss a few stretches of games or not next year. Yea your good and your worth money to me but I need you conditioned to be more durable. Tre White is a rookie. He took a shot to the head by Gronk. I love Tre White. Tre White intercepted Tom Brady. I like Gaines though but my jersey is Tre White when I get one. I do hope we keep Gaines. I respect his work last year. The defense kept it very exciting for me last year. I think for the most part that side of the ball held up nicely. Only if they could scoop those turnovers and take it to the house. Teach the defense to score I guess.....

My only issue with the moon landing was that we have not gone back. It doesn't make sense you can land on the moon and never go back. You can't tell me the end goal of all that was land a ship on the moon. You go to conquer not visit for giggles. Same issue I have with Pyramids. They last that long and nothing we can build will last as long as the Pyramids. I don't think currently we could build a pyramid that accurate today we sure have not done it. So for me it can only be two things. They either lied about going to the moon or they are still going secretly. I'll be honest. I read a lot about conspiracy theory even Flat Earth. Although real conspiracy theorist hate being identified with flat Earth. They hate it. I usually keep the stuff to myself because it's fringe. It reminds me of religion and politics and people can get offended if I'm trying to red pill people. Oh and Flat Earth if you actually get into the meaty bits there is some neat stuff. Not saying it proves flat Earth but some parts of it are still interesting. Geno probably found some parts interesting and made the mistake of backing the entire theory. I've seen the stuff I've read about years ago just starting to pop up in mainstream last few years. Kinda surprised by it. One last thing. Conspiracy Theories are mostly based on stuff that is difficult to prove. The really good information isn't on the surface. You have to dig through a lot of nonsense to find the real gems.

Dear Brian Daboll, -Do you stink as an OC?
Lfod replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll reserve my judgement on Daboll for now. I took into consideration people's thoughts on his resume and I won't argue that it could be better. I would have taken a more proven guy but sometimes you take a shot on a lesser known. My expectations for the offense is low next season. I don't think it's because of Daboll either. It just looked very bad at times last season. I'm giving Daboll a pass next season. I hope he can be a miracle worker and turn everything around in his first season as the OC for the Bills. -
So going into camp, is it a qb competition for starter?
Lfod replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you leave it open to a competition. Unless you pour a lot of funds into that vet QB. Don't spend big on a vet QB if you think he can't win a competition over Peterman and a Rookie. -
Bills signings & TT trade point to trade up
Lfod replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I only meant it's hard to feel convinced about it being the Bills because I don't have a proper understanding what value we have compared to other potential buyers. Haha. -
Bills signings & TT trade point to trade up
Lfod replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't feel convinced just yet, I'm close. I would have also been against a trade up at first when it sounded weaker. I'm convinced the Browns would trade if stating it publicly or at least want to listen to offers. That feels pretty solid. Then you get the Giants signaling they are not going in the direction of the QB. They also at least have the option to look at offers. Then it's like two teams jump into the first and second round in this draft and draft QBs. The part I need convincing more on is the chances the Bills have the ammo to actually get to #1 or #2 over other teams. The Browns and Giants know that #1 and #2 spot are the big trade up spots for QB. If your not taking one at the very least your listening to the offers. How it all matches up time will tell but it is good feelings right now. -
I like the wild speculating. Obviously I understand the draft will reveal itself when it happens. I also understand that I won't really know if the picks are good until we get to see them in games. I believe in what's going on with the Bills. I like to check in on what people think of the new developments. I understand what you mean but people are gonna speculate and that makes good reading sometimes for me.

Bills signings & TT trade point to trade up
Lfod replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well people got me pumped up reading about it so I started dreaming about it and it hurt my feelings as well. I would love if the Browns we're actually scared of the first round pick they have. The idea that they might realize that even if they take a QB at #1 the team is so bad that even the best QB will bust unless... Flip the switch. If you trade that #1 and the Giants really don't go QB in the draft you are still very good at #4 pick loaded with even more ammo. Build up around #1 with all the ammo they have or... build up around #4 with even more to build around him this year and the next. That might be the mindset when they announced being open to trade. It's basically giving up first choice at QB in the draft and getting paid large. It might be something I would do if I still had #4 pick. I hope that's the Browns plan. I don't know about draft pick value well but I hope ours being right next to each other in the first round might be interesting to the Browns along with whatever the Bills could scrape up to make it a done deal. -
Drew Brees still does not have a contract!
Lfod replied to wagon127's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well it could make things more interesting if it happened. I was already liking how open everything was looking so far so throwing this in could open things up more. A lot of options out there. The Bills should trend up man. -
The bolded is because I think that might be a slight underestimation of what some one will move on from if they can make money at it. I agree with everything you said and it was informative. I really don't have a complete understanding of the situation honestly. I don't doubt it would cut down on it. I just will never doubt what a person would do when money is involved. The only reason I say this is because what I love and hate most about people is what they can accomplish when motivated strongly by something.

Bills signings & TT trade point to trade up
Lfod replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills are trading to #1 and it's already locked in with the browns and yes we are paying a crazy sum. I don't know how much or what it is. The reason is the Browns understand they suck so it's better to just take a QB at 4 have even more ammo to build a team this year. They also know Giants are going to not go QB and potentially could scoop our picks for #2. That gave us a little better leverage. They also know a better QB might be at 4 because of that. Both teams love are picks. We can actually trade with either team but the Browns won. I will not reveal my sources!!! All kidding aside that would be cool man if it was real. Or is it???!?!! :Ninja: -
Broncos freeing cap space up $35 mill under more moves to come
Lfod replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with this. The big boy move is get to the 1st or 2nd pick. You want the best odds if your gonna reach so you might as well go all in. That would be my mindset in that situation anyway. I would view a Bills trade up to the 2nd pick epic in this draft. If they moved to the 1st pick I would view that as legendary. At least with either I know the Bills are not joking around. -
FA DE Owa Odighizuwa working out for Bills (update:Signed)
Lfod replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with the bolded and am glad to see the team getting things in order. At first I thought a trade up wasn't very likely. Then the Browns said they are open to trade. Then the Giants say they are good at QB. At the very least things are looking more open and there might be opportunity. So I wouldn't argue that they are hoping to trade up if things are really open for them. I just hope if they really do burn that draft capital that it one day pays off. Also if they trade up I would rather have them go all in and get tops. Trade up big or go home. It's easy for me to like McDermott. I do think he got the best from the team he inherited. I trust the moves he made. Also I think the guy is more aggressive then some people might give him credit for. -
I think people were talking attitude and character and not numbers necessarily. At least that was the impression I was left with reading the boards. I think those people will probably look right past the work you did and probably still make the comparison. I don't think you can compare anyone to Johnny Manziel, that situation was special and he should own it alone. Even if Baker has character flaws I don't think he flames out as fast as Johnny did. If we losing horribly and he's out there grabbing himself I could only see that as embarrassment.

#1 Bolded I won't argue with you until I see him in the system in place and running. I am open to the possibility Ivory getting stuffed and fumbling. I definitely think the Bills need a stronger left punch so I'm happy they at least made a move in a direction to improve it. Although I wouldn't disagree with wanting to have a younger guy with potential. I'm actually all in favor of any move going into the season as long as it addresses the offense. So if it happened the way you wanted I would agree with that as well. Anything to not settle for 3 points. #2 Bolded will never be about what the Bills get with a 5th round pick. That move was never anything about what the Bills could actually get in a trade for Dareus. The Bills didn't want Dareus so bad they took anything just to remove him from the team. Again I can't really argue the move was good until I see what Bills do after the stink from that clears out. I also think it was a last resort and not something they just did. #3 Bolded I won't argue that he is a #1. To his credit those direct hits to his legs in those games looked brutal. The move was also made in the heat of the moment to get a big receiver for a short struggling quarter back. It could also be a good move for the future if the team takes advantage of having a large target. A lot of this stuff has to play out a little more more before I judge. I like the moves and I could be wrong. So although I don't disagree these could be bad moves I still haven't seen a negative impact from it. The Bills made the playoffs so out of all the bad that happened I would say it was a more positive year then what the people who didn't like these moves would predicted probably. At least you can agree we would not have not leaned into the playoffs if these moves really hurt the team badly. Ivory gets frequently stuffed next season and fumbles and it doesn't help Shady get production and he's getting stuffed as well then I'll 100% agree the move sucked bad. If Kelvin Benjamin can't be productive or gets injured a few times next season then it was a bad move I will agree. If Dareus restores himself and the Bills can't work around the cost of cutting him and the defense falls off a cliff next season then I will agree it was a bad move. The defense did hold the Jags to 10 in the playoffs they did all I could ask for. So I wouldn't say removing Dareus hurt the team badly. If next season the negative things I mention happen I don't think there will be many who would argue in favor of the moves anymore.

Adam Schein Predicts Where the UFA and Draft QBs Land
Lfod replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just became interested more in the stakes then then what it would actually be on honestly. I think the loser gets to have a sauce of choice to ease consuming. Also some kind of cliche Mexican themed song in the background then. I was joking anyway it's just your wager/pledge triggered me. -

Depends. Did you wear the underwear before and for how long? Is the eating of the undies in a video? -
Adam Schein Predicts Where the UFA and Draft QBs Land
Lfod replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I myself don't feel like the Bills are making any huge leaps. I could see this happening. I would not hate it. It's trying something anyway. -
I remember Tolbert breaking a good run for like 10 or 15 yards but unfortunately he fumbled it. That would of been a nice play if he held on because it would of been a first down I think. You have to work with what you have. So I would agree of MCD having a mindset of building a foundation for winning. I would agree with you on that. I think many of the moves this year have been doing exactly that and I actually agree with them.
-
I never knew who Tolbert was and I still don't. At least I have heard of Ivory. I like the feeling that the offense is being addressed. Hopefully it helps the offense move the chains a little more.

Kim Pegula seeks compromise with players on social protests
Lfod replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think seeking compromise is a good answer. The protest didn't offend me personally. I do understand why it offended veterans. I do understand why people did protest in the first place. In the end we all got problems man. Look all over the internet and YouTube and you can a lot of self expression and people voicing opinions. It's the medium for that type of thing. You are a player in the NFL. You probably can afford to make produce some nice awareness videos for YouTube if you want. I mean if the message is appropriate the team can find a way to display it. I'm all for that. That could of solved the whole thing. Ok the NFL will put on a display for equality or whatever the issue is. I'm not going to kneel because to me it's a posture of weakness. I'd rather the team just let the players find a consensus message and find a way to display it on the big screen at the stadium. The only problem I have with the protests is that it's lazy. Your kind of biting the hand that feeds you to promote your message. I can't remember but it was kinda negative for the NFL in ways. Even still in the end one dude started it all. I honestly don't think he needed to sacrifice his job. I think he could of gotten the message out with a few kneel downs. I understand the sentiment and it worked but then he pushed it to hard in the NFL. He had an opportunity to bring it beyond and outside the NFL. -
I want them to do the best with every possible option available to them. I trust the process right now but that process needs to produce a few more points next season. If I could talk to McDermott would say I want the #1 priority for the Bills is to be scoring points. I would tell him the defense did it's job to get us there but the offense was boring to a point it was 3 points in the playoffs to end the game. I think that should be a concern and focus of this draft. Offence so hard that all you have left is free agency for defense. Thank you and enjoy the Superbowl.

Chris Berman lawsuit claims he’s “racially disparagaing”
Lfod replied to gr8billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly I scale it like this. Until something is settled I kinda leave it up in the air. I don't doubt for a second there is some real messed up stuff out there still happening laying under a rug. It's a crazy world. I really believe we are living in a special time. It's ramping up to something I imagine.
