  1. I just can't believe what is happening.
  2. Ok enough AjMcarron.
  3. Checking in. Go Bills
  4. The offense was going to suck regardless so it's not an important point. The offence as a total product held Tyrod and Peterman back. 3 points in the playoffs. That is so lackluster. So boring. No conspiracy here just flat out Savage levels of not scoring points. Please tell me more about the chargers game. Let's only care about that game.
  5. It's a consequence of being famous. That's my only point.
  6. Then again when you talk trash expect people to fire back. So don't be surprised. Fame is a double edge sword. Don't stress people taking the low road then defend some one else doing the same.
  7. Hahahaha hahahaha haha ha ha.... Ahhhh...
  8. It would look different for Peterman if he didn't have those quick passes. You miss the play Peterman avoided pressure and got the ball to KB on the sideline?
  9. I still feel the same. Zay definitely tripped coming out of the gate. It's nice to know that he is working his way back in. I never like to write any one off but it's not like he's on my radar as far as having expectations. I really don't know what to expect of him as far as contributing to the season. He is still on the team for a reason. Just can't help feeling he fell behind some and I am going to need to see him actually making plays before I get even a lil excited Zay Jones is a Bill.
  10. I don't dismiss your concerns. I have them myself. It was a big part of Petermans debut into the NFL. 5 interceptions is a tattoo on his NFL career. A hard stain to wash off. I agree Nate was a big part of his interception problem. You are correct. If he starts I do believe he will throw interceptions during the season. It's a big part of his play style. He drop back and he fires and sometimes those passes lack some strength. The only difference is that I believe he has improved some. He strung together a couple of very nice drives in preseason all passing. Yes he threw the interception. It dissapointed me. I made sure to see it on video a few times. I can't help but to be intrigued by the way he reads the field and is able to connect. It's a special trait that I think Coach is also attracted to. Actually to me it's just another Tyrod Taylor situation. You have a QB that has a special trait. A skill that can't be denied. You take a shot on that guy hoping everything else falls into play. The only problem with guys like this is that you do need to game plan for matchups and flaws. A big weakness I now lay solely at Rick Dennisons feet.
  11. I think everyone having thier favorites muddied the waters. As if right now I give Peterman the nod to start. That is just my personal opinion. I don't want to downplay Josh Allen to prop my guy up. I can definitely acknowledge that Josh Allen showed some things to get excited about. Does that make him a perfectly oiled football machine just yet? I dunno I always had the thought that it might take some grooming to adjust to the NFL from college. Some guys are more natural then others. Josh Allen made plays. I'm excited asbout that. First round pick bust is not a concern with Josh Allen so much anymore right? So I can think my QB Peterman was almost if not perfect in his showing and say Josh Allen still fought hard and wowed me as well as a potential future QB when he is more fine tuned. Trust me, Josh Allen can win the job. If he goes out with the starters and has an almost perfect showing in preseason I think I would be whistling a different tune.
  12. It's exactly what it is. I have no trouble seeing it at all as I read this thread. It almost has the feel of crusading when people excuse away Petermans performance and make excuses for Josh Allen. It's that simple, dismiss then make excuses. It's not what is happening in reality. Josh Allen is the project. Coach McDermott is bringing him along at a good pace. Get his feet wet playing 3rd string in a preseason game. Great Josh Allen proved a lot in that game. Now you can involve Josh Allen more. I don't think that justified making him the instant starter. Don't forget it was Nate Peterman that was almost perfect in his performance. One poorly thrown ball out of 10 perfect strikes. If anyone is earning that start role it's Nate Peterman guys. Quit dismissing his perfect Peterman performance. I think Coach McDermott is very intelligent and I believe he will hedge his bets. I doubt he goes all in starting Allen like the people on this board want. Although I think Josh Allen's performance has impressed McDermott and I think Coach will add more weight now. I think Josh Allen is the future. I think he has earned the right to carry more weight but right now like Burple says. This is Petermans team right now and will be all season until the Bills are out and Coach has lost faith in Peterman completely. Don't worry though because AJMcCarron isn't going to cut it and chances are Peterman will sit out a game or two and Josh Allen will be his backup. When this happens even Peterman haters will be wishing him a speedy recovery when Josh Allen hits the field still an unfinished product.
  13. I never had much to say about Shaq Lawson. I want to like him. The team already shipped out a lot of players they felt couldn't be a part of the big picture. This guy is still around. So I'll just wait and see what happens.
  14. I know I liked the Bills in the Panthers preseason game. The only thing I wanted to see is if our players looked competitive and could make some plays. I think I would have been dissapointed if it looked like my team was getting walked all over. I think preseason is exactly what it's meant to be. A chance to run your roster up against a different teams roster 4 times before you start the season. It allows you a different perspective on things. Your not exactly looking to go full force when your tweaking tuning and evaluating.
  15. McDermott is a genius keeping the rotation between Peterman and AJMcCarron. I think it's for more reasons than just a competition. You get both these guys plenty of reps because there could be a chance you might see both these guys playing games if an injury happens. Allen in the competition that is great if they really feel like he can be a contender for the starting role this season. I hope they did thier due diligence in coaching him up to a point they feel that confident he could start this season. I want Allen in the competition. It will make him better. He should pick up on the things the other guys do better and adapt it to his game. That's how you win a competition. He can easily win physically with that rocket launcher if he has that mental game down. He can learn from Peterman those quick reads as well.
  16. I'll take the Bills in that bet. I'm not even going to justify my thinking.
  17. It's better than when they said the Browns will have a better record than the Bills this season...... The Broncos deserve what they got good or bad with Chad Kelly. It's that simple.
  18. The way I see it is Peterman played nearly a flawless game. So unless they think it was a fluke they can test out AJ and JA starting in the next pre season games to remove all doubt. I don't need to see Peterman with the ones again. Just the other two. I agree. Start them and see if they can play a nearly flawless game with the starters and if Peterman looks as good running with the lesser talent. It's a good test.
  19. It is a tough call. I like what Peterman does but he won't get away with being one dimensional. If that's the entirety of his game then it could spell some trouble for him, like you said it will be planned for. You may get some nice drives and some ugly interceptions. AJ being the vet will know when to toss it away to live another day. Only if he isn't given the time often I think it could spell trouble for him. I only give Peterman the edge because he didn't use the running game. AJ took a sack but Peterman did throw an interception. If they go with Petermans quick passing attack then they need to precondition WRs to bat the ball down instead of tipping a poorly placed ball into the air to defenders. Like instead of that WR tipping it trying to make a play he could of slapped it down. If you can't make the play at least don't set it up so the other team can sheesh. AJ probably won't be dangerously misplacing those balls but he's going to be running for his life if he can't fire em off sometimes to show the threat of it. He can't be one dimensional either. If they go with AJ they will need the line to hold up better. AJ did throw bombs but only one made it to a wide wide wide open Wr. The other two over thrown, so I'm not convinced yet that he can consistently push down field, only that he would try. A 60 yard bomb is great but if it's over thrown more then not I'm not sure it's that enticing. Anyway if AJ is using running plays on a night they seem to want it to be done exclusively through the air is kind of a tell. That's what I see but obviously the coaches see what they see. The wrs might not been fast enough to catch up to those deep balls. The evaluation could be different then mine, probably is lol.
  20. You called it May 21st when you posted this topic. I'll be honest I never counted him out, but I never counted him in either. I was always on the fence. I can't give you credit for calling it May 21st yet you understand but I'll be back on this thread when it happens. I just keep going back to rewatch the highlights. Then I don't watch Peterman, just the line. It doesn't look dominant as the narrative. The one time Peterman couldn't fire quick he had to scramble to the outside to hit Kelvin Benjamin. I definitely could see the line being pushed back more then once but the ball is gone before it matters. 3 games left until you look like some sort of football medium.
  21. I agree. I also don't think Peterman had a wall in front of him. If he wasn't dropping back and firing the O-Line in places would have collapsed and he would of been sacked. Peterman is the starter next season as of right now. You are absolutely correct. I hope our boy can pump fake though. I don't see these grandiose pockets with Peterman sitting back enjoying all the time in the world. I think people over estimate the O-Line and not understand that Petermans quick passes made them look like they could hold up. Allen has the best arm but Peterman smokes them all when it comes to dropping back and firing immediately. Nobody does that but Peterman. As much as people want it, Allen isn't starting this season. That game was just to get his feet wet. Next game AJ will prove behind the starting line why it has to be Peterman. That O-Line won't hold up for anything but the quick passing. Mark my words bro. Your not going to see AJ deep bombing to a receiver that wide open often. The other two bombs we're over thrown and actually being covered. I wasn't as impressed. I laugh when they praise AJs deep ball. It was one out of three and his WR was wide open. The guy has an almost perfect game and crickets as far as fans go. They cheer the 60 yard incompletion by Allen. I'm not saying AJ isn't good competition but based on that game AJ had to lean on the running game. Peterman was entirely through the freaking air. Allen was good. If he can't move the scrubs vs scrubs game he isn't going to be franchise. Its a strawman to prop up a rookie. I love Josh Allen as a draft pick. His time will come.
  22. I didn't find myself frustrated by it. Allen played with and against lesser talent. Sure the Panthers depth could be better, I won't argue against it, but I still don't see it as very unfair. This was thier scrubs vs our scrubs with our draft pick QB inserted to see how he handles it. If Allen can't handle it, he won't ever be franchise. The reason we didn't pick Rosen I'm thinking is for that reason. Allen won't get a big ego and think he deserves more than he has earned. I think it was a fine way insert Allen and get his feet wet. I think all 3 QBs started the first preseason game in the order the HC had them ranked. That is just my personal opinion. They all showcased well and McDermott said it's a good thing and makes his job harder. It was frustrating and yet exhilarating to see Allen make it work. Allen did face the most pressure, but all 3 QBs did face pressure. Nate avoided his one serious pressure and AJM ate his with a sack. I think Nate Peterman was dropping back and firing. The O-Line didn't have to block as long in my honest opinion. We will see if it looks that good when the QBs are in different order next game. Right now people are overestimating the starting O-Line and underestimating Peterman. I see pressure in his series and if a lot of those passes didn't get off as fast well.... You will appreciate next game when it's more visible.
