Kim Pegula is Attending Practice Today
Lfod replied to Slippery Rubber Mats's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah knowing the impact Kim has made on the team, it really sucked knowing something was wrong. I didnt want to lose her. Obviously I dont know or have ever met her but just as a face of the organization. Glad to know shes a part of things in whatever way she can be. Im rooting for because I do believe she had to be part of the team going in the right direction. I never spoke on it just because Im never the right person for that but I really hope she finds her way into the mix again. Its cool to see news like this. -
Just quit the season. That performance was pathetic
Lfod replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall
It goes both ways I imagine. You can be skeptical or hopeful. I think realistic is a good approach. We had a few runs and it was time to restock and refocus. The team might start the season and fall flat for some games. I wouldnt be shocked. We fired a OC over a bad stretch of games so it wouldnt be new. I actually am braced for growing pains but I am not doom and gloom. It might be a good ramp up into the season after this next one. -

You got me. Almost was ready to type something out. -
Caleb Williams WILL play against Buffalo on Saturday
Lfod replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its fun for me to follow the stories of drafted QBs for a bit. Until they become what they are. At his price tag of being #1 I guess at the very least you want flashes of greatness on the field as the season goes on. Now you have CJ Stroud as an example of it all working out. I think that has more to do with everything else around him as well. So will the bears will have to roll it out as well. The Bills D is good reps for him. -
Dorsey was fired because he couldn't ask the man who is doing his job now for ideas before he was fired. Next thing you know, whoop next guys got something cooking. Dorsey might be alright, but now this time ask around for feedback when he struggles.

Pegula imploring Beane and McD to get Allen to embrace a CEO role?
Lfod replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I figured that is a coaches job. It wouldnt be a concern of mine for our QB to have babysitting pressure. -
Yeah I thought he was done after I saw his fingers curled up. He proved me wrong about that. It wouldn't shock me if he misses some games. It could trend that way. Tua is alright. I think he is good enough to have the Fish in the mix. I don't think the Fish really had any outs to go in a different direction at the moment.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better
Lfod replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
So I think this thread boils down to how people see the glass that is half full or half empty. I really can understand both sides but not to the extremes that some go. In some ways I am a little skeptical. At the very least, any WR walking through the door is getting a monster at QB. I don't know about this OC. I am not sold all the way yet. I need to see a full season, without pulling a dorsey and getting predictible. I think the real place I disagree with people is that I understand why it has to be this way and I still buy into the process. It might get ugly but this in the opening of a new window. -
I understand it. Just an example of "if we just had this". They didn't stay the course. Zack was a bust I get it. You bring in a couple jag bridge QBs and you get the same results but just maybe one of those jags gets a hot hand and its not so bad. So yeah it will be interesting to see the Jets implode again after the hope part 2 rolls out.

I think Coleman flatlines guys and makes circus catches. He will be better than Davis. He is the type to get into peoples heads. He has that big D energy. -
I don't doubt Diggs wants a superbowl. I don't doubt he worked his craft with the team while he was on the team. I don't doubt he had his doubts about the Bills getting to a SuperBowl. That is what it had to be about. Bean did him a solid I think. Put him in a spot that has potential. It isnt great the way it ended but we had some fun runs. The only thing I can hope for is that the Bills to prove him wrong and for him to sit down on the field sad again, as the Bills roll past them. No hard feeling though, still will show respect if it happens the other way around and give them flowers.

It is funny people care that much about the 13 second game. The Bengals game(s) were worse in my view. You could see it happening even before that scary situation. At least in the 13 second game and the last one with a lot of injuries they still were in those games. Close enough to not think McD is trash. KC is just that team. Other good teams lose playing against them as well in big moments.

It is funny because I don't know who Mcdermott was before he was hired as HC. I just know the team is a lot more fun to be a fan of since he took over. I dont really care who as at HC as long as my team doesnt suck. I don't want to be like some of these joke franchises throwing everything at the wall hoping it sticks. If you can acknowledge the risk of a new coaching hire then I can some what respect you wanting it to happen. You might hit and you might miss so be it. Its easy to say when its not your job on the line. You hire a new HC and your plan fails you become the joke that fired Sean Mcdermott drought breaker. Meanwhile he gets a job the next day. He is proven and some crap team will stumble all over themseleves for what the drought breaker can bring. Odds are he eventually makes a SB with another team before the Bills recover if you made the wrong choice. If your right great but if your wrong... oh boy. Better hidden gem coaches than McDermott out there? Probably. Worth taking the risk? I dont really think so in my opinion. I wouldn't just assume McDermott won't figure it out. He has been schooled but people think he wont learn from it. Dude fired his OC on the spot to fix an issue. People thinking he wont change is ignorant in my honest.

I'm not really a critic. Just a fan that views it as a net loss and not really having any expectation for an impact in the future. Just going out and contributing enough value to make it feel like a contract is less of a negative would be ideal at this point. Von I am sure will have opportunity to be a playmaker again, because we need impact plays in big games. We have a few issues with teams and he was supposed to move the needle. This next season would be a good one for him to make some noise if he feels like being loud. The team still needs people to move the needle for the clutch.

If you don't think getting to the playoffs every year has the potential for a SB run, then Im not going to try and change a mind. You clearly not living in a rational space. You remember the 13 seconds, I remember the team before McDermott and Rex Ryan. You remember Josh Allen I remember backing into the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor before we drafted Allen. McDermott should be your hero. He granted the wishes of a fanbase stuck in a playoff drought. So many praying on breaking the drought and now your spoiled. You turn your back on the man who got us out of the mud. You would rather fire this man than have faith he can get it done because it has to be in your desinated time frame. You would rather show loyalty to what you imagine, than what you have been blessed with in front of your face. Show some respect when you ask the man to who brought water in a drought to break the curse of 4 SB losses and grant your final wish.

How would Buffalo perform with Kirk Cousins?
Lfod replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was getting desperate to get Kirk before Josh was drafted. Glad it didnt work out the way I wanted. -
https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-top-10-defense-cbs-sports#:~:text=Buffalo has finished all but,the 2021 and 2022 campaigns. "Buffalo has finished all but one of its seven seasons under McDermott with a top-10 defensive unit, finishing first in total defense in the 2021 and 2022 campaigns" Top defence 2021-2022 and Top 10 every other year. If the article is correct Its not a question I would ask. I think he is a good HC. Time will tell if he is proven to be a great SB winning coach. Im sure he is closer than other HCs employed today. If he was fired today he would have a job tomarrow and I would rather have the playoff births with him than venture into that unknown territory. People talk as if giving him the boot ensures a SB victory because we still have Josh. To many absolutes in some peoples takes. Not saying firing Mcd and hiring a different HC isnt the SB answer but why try to fix what isnt broken. Playoffs every year? Sure sign me up because one of those years things just might fall into place. No you dont fire him until its clear this team trended down and Josh looks like his current back up.

Week 5 showdown Allen vs Diggs - Who has the better game and who wins?
Lfod replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
When I looked it up, it said he was good for 8 tuddies last year. So it could happen the way you described but if hes still good for 8 I am not sure how worried I would be that one of those would be the game winner against his former team. Although I do believe your scenerio is the only way I think Diggs shows up on my radar at all. -
I just want to speak on the Jets because I see people thinking they will make noise. I wanted to say it last year and wish I did, but the Jets are a joke and Rogers was nothing but desperation and ticket sales. I don't count last year because Rogers was injured but I promise you I thought it was going to be bad but im saying it now. Itz going to be bad. The other thing I saw some one mention why our HC isn't getting more heat under the seat. Dude broke the drought and has been playoff bound ever since. You dont fire a person in that situation. You fire bad HCs who are in charge of crap teams with bad records. Im getting tired of people who question my playoff caliber HC. Turn in your fan cards till the guy is fired ok? At least chill out with the song and dance until the thing falls apart enough to know its a real problem and not one you make up because of personal desperations. Lastly Dorsey deserved to get fired at least some what. It wasnt scapegoat level. He was fired it got better. All you need to know. Other great stuff in this thread I can think about but needed to touch on a few bad takes.

Joe Marino talks what the Bills have to do to beat KC in playoffs
Lfod replied to Nephilim17's topic in The Stadium Wall
This post is great. Its something I wanted to say but just couldnt put it all together like this. The Bills have been in the mix and I feel that is worthy enough to have faith that it had pontential to happen. Not sure about next year. Hopefully it all clicks out the gate but I am a little worried about that. Ill worry about KC if things seem to be in order after a few games. -
Nathan Peterman. If a team can't really win at least make it entertaining. I know Tyrod believers still exisited and they didn't want to listen but it was funny, so it was fun. Tyrod put me to sleep. Peterman made me laugh. People act like it was some huge mistake to play Peterman. I still think it was worth a shot at the time. Going all in on Aaron Rogers and having him flatline 4 plays in is a huge mistake. Russel Wilson and Deshaun Watson are huge mistakes. I hope it makes sense.

I love McDermott as a HC. I think he has grown as a HC. I respect his process. The last few runs had real Super Bowl potential in them if you ask me. The team has been playoff caliber. Josh Allen didnt want to date Taylor Swift and thats not on coach. Put some faith in this guy he deserves it.

What kind of season are you expecting from Josh Allen this year?
Lfod replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is about or around about what I was thinking. I was thinking he took a break on whatever he was doing before the season that had him playing s tier. -
After seeing how Tua was layed out in those games with his fingers curled up he should secure the bag. I could never feel right giving him a contract based on strength of the damage that dude look like he took.
