  1. Looks like on his first play one of his O-Line is pancaked immediately. I see pressure threatening often. I think there is only one pass Peterman would want to take back. Everyone just assumed the red carpet was rolled out. No run game, every play is a pass. AJ got destroyed behind the same line. That's what it looks like without quick pass Peterman. If it was between AJ and Peterman I think I'm going with Peterman. He handles pressure better. It's Josh Allen's turn to get a start. He has earned it. He might go out Sunday and play lights out. It hasn't happened yet so maybe relax on calling the competition over until it is. Josh Allen faces a true test and people have given him a passing grade before the final test.
  2. Peterman was nearly flawless in his preseason start. All passing for a TD. Then the reality is that trademark tipped pass showed up. Then I seen AJ get absolutely destroyed during his start. I like Josh Allen. Let's see what he does with his start.
  3. I think if the Bills fix that scoring points problem this season then they are most definitely a playoff team.
  4. I'm thinking dude is just not able to transition to a normal life. I knew a guy that was two different people. Most of the time he was a big teddy bear but when this dude got triggered he went full combat mode wanting a piece of anybody willing to fight. The dude would just flip personality for no reason. He did the military thing so I understand that had an effect. I imagine that s Richie's problem. He switches to that aggressive personality and can't control it.
  5. I'm going with Buffalo. Do I bet on a team that has to completely turn it around or a team on the verge of greatness? I can't be serious about this situation.
  6. I believe we have a HC and a GM. It's starting to look like we may have a franchise QB. We have awesome owners. You don't have to dream. You can see it in this team. Upgrading weight room is serious. I never expect Rome to be built in a day but you can see Rome is being built. You can just see the results. It won't be very long my friend. The Bills are going to be owning the division and beyond.
  7. Josh Allen leaves me with a feeling that Beane might have picked the winning lottery ticket. I wasn't expecting the stars to align honestly but it's starting to look like it. It feels good to have a HC and GM I can believe in. If Josh Allen is franchise QB we will finally have the trifecta.
  8. I mean Josh Allen is starting next game for a reason. This prediction is in serious jeapordy now. I like Peterman but Josh Allen progressing with flying colors is the best case scenario. I don't think Peterman is the train wreck some people make him out to be but I acknowledge the flaws in his game. It's not looking good for Nate but I wouldn't call the race finished. If Josh Allen were to have a bunch of 3 and outs in his staring debut perspective would change. I hope Josh Allen absolutely lights it up next game but that reality hasn't come yet.
  9. With Josh Allen starting the next preseason game it's obvious he is in serious contention. Honestly a lot of QBs look insignificant in a competition with a rocket launcher. Next to Josh Allen everyone has a noodle arm. I was kinda skeptical to be honest. Looking at the big picture I felt like the team was still transitioning and wouldn't be a good fit for a drafted rookie to start immediately. Preseason gave me the impression that the Bills could have an Offense with an identity. I'd be happy to see our rookie become the face of the franchise. Peterman was always going to be the odd man out when they drafted Josh Allen. I liked his preseason but I'm not in denial. The guy with the stronger arm is probably going to win the job when his job is throwing a ball.
  10. I Iook at Josh like ok he has experienced pressure. He has made some wow plays. It has been enough to earn him a start in preseason. I think his story is still being written when everybody says they have the book. I wanna see how he plays next game. I don't know if it will leave me feeling more excited or more cautious and dissapointed. I'm still in the middle. I'm not sold but very interested.
  11. I just remember his pass to the hospitality tent. At least the report of it. I know it's preseason but it's better these guys are doing something and not nothing.
  12. I like the idea of Dabol and the talk of match ups. It feels right. Obviously the team needs to demonstrate an air attack to be respected for having that option to strike you with.
  13. Looks like Josh Allen is working his way up at a faster pace then I anticipated. It definitely builds excitement that our first round QB is making waves in preseason. If Peterman doesn't win the competition, I will still give him credit for sticking it out and doing well in preseason. I hope people don't bash the guy relentlessly because it turned out Josh Allen was a winning lottery ticket. Peterman set the bar to overcome and if Josh Allen does it I think that's fantastic. Just my reality of the bar set by Peterman is different than others. As in go out and complete 9/10 with a touchdown or better in this next game. Don't go out and get sacked a bunch and get 3 and outs and expect me to make excuses for it or accept it. I don't want to hear about a bad O-Line or wrs dropping passes.
  14. I'm a Bills fan. That has made me a skeptic naturally. When the Bills went to the playoffs I was ready to embrace a loss because my team couldn't score points. I think what I have seen in preseason with my team has given me some hope. I know I shouldn't get over hyped about it. It was nice actually seeing Peterman and Allen get TD drives. If I can only get it in preseason it will be sad but I enjoyed the moments. To me Peterman looked decent. Not a guy without flaws but some one who at the very least led an efficient drive. Josh Allen is looking to be improving rapidly. It's enough to dedicate a preseason start to him. I won't try to convince you Josh Allen will be good. I can only tell you he is leaving a good impression when he plays. Enough to deserve some buzz.
  15. When I look at McDermott I see a coach I believe will give this team the best chance to win. I see Superbowl victory. The guy is the process because he lives it.
  16. You know it's bad timing. Josh Allen is about to start his first preseason game. The bills fans are hyped. I Don't blame people for being skeptics. It's not a good time to make that argument.
  17. If Josh Allen wants to step up and take the job so be it. I think the long time Bills fans deserve a QB. I think Peterman set the bar. 9/10 1TD and 1 Int.
  18. Touche fellow poster. I guess that would depend on Peterman. If we are winning games I don't think you make the switch.
  19. I'm not sure Peterman was going to have time for anything but dink and dunk. If he can play the same way during the season and it leads to points then it won't matter. Defense always plans to take away your strength.
  20. Injury and the NFL are two things that just go together. You would have to completely change the game to remove the possibility of injury. If you want to remove the problems with preseason you might as well remove all the same problems caused by the game in general. Why go halfway? Football is a sport that can hurt you. That is the big picture. It will come with moments of greatness and tragedy. That is part of the allure of the sport. At least I view these guys as true gladiators sacrificing themselves for entertainment. I think it should be a known thing long before you get to a NFL level. This sport can mess you up badly. I'm not advocating for injury. Just saying injury going to happen unless you take contact out of the sport.
  21. I don't think you start Peterman with the intention of just a few games. If they think Allen is that close, he is close enough. I have liked Petermans work in preseason. I have also thought that Josh Allen has given reasons to be looked at more seriously right now as a starter. I'm glad our draft pick is earning his stripes and seems to be learning quickly.
  22. I witnessed it through YouTube video on my mobile phone. Now give me a good job. Peterman made the payday throw.
  23. I seen Peterman avoid pressure and make a nice throw to Kelvin Benjamin on the sideline. I seen the line getting pushed back on his drives but his quick pass negated it. Then I seen AJ get destroyed and I didn't think he played great in his first game. I'll tell you something, Josh Allen is looking good buddy. Just Peterman isn't so bad or lucky. He gets the job done and it's adequate.
  24. I like Peterman. He has a special talent I believe. His style of play will lead to interceptions. Only it won't matter if he connects more than not and it leads to points. I think he has shown in preseason to be adequate. If Josh Allen wants to rise up and take the job so be it. I don't think you sleep on Perfect Peterman.
