  1. Honestly I have very little to go on to formulate an opinion. Looks like a champ in preseason. He absolutely crashed and burned during his debut. Looked better during the Colts game but still didn't finish. Again he is looking absolutely clutch in preseason again. The doubters and naysayers could be right. They could be dead wrong. I'm on the fence. The only problem I have with his doubters is they remove any room for improvement. It's just not logically possible for Nate to be anything but that 5 interception joke. That and they bend over backwards to dismiss Peterman and Prop up Allen. The closest they will come is meh the O-Line sucks start Nate or AJMcarron to get killed. Hey it's progress! Even though they look goofy mentioning AJMcarron. I'm in full support of Peterman starting but I'm still going to be cringing worried that he will crash and burn. It's going to be a very nervous excitement for me. I will be excited if he starts. This is the QB I want to start.
  2. I never seen feelings change so fast.
  3. It didn't go anywhere what's the point?
  4. I look at the post game interviews of JA and Peterman. One guy looks embarrassed and the other guy looks confident.
  5. I kinda thought The Final Word could be funny if it wasn't over the top stupid. I think he was banned already.
  6. I don't about unleashing hell but I don't think the team is a tire fire because JA had a bad start in preseason. People put all thier emotional eggs in that basket. I've seen a lot of melt downs and drivel ever since. Omg JA had a bad game the entire team sucks!!! -sad Bills fans
  7. I like Josh Allen but starting him doesn't guarantee anything. I respect people want to see if he is the real deal, but starting him doesn't make him the automatic franchise QB. Nothing is set in stone. I have no attachment to any of these QBs beyond what I see as a potential and nothing more. AJ is nothing special, Peterman has quick passes and Allen has a rocket launcher. I have always been in the mindset that this team would be in transition until it no longer is. We have had a revolving door at coaching position and a team heading off into a different direction each regime change. I wasn't interested in Rex Ryan and I liked St Doug. With McDermott last year I got a team stripping dead weight and still managing to win. I think that allows me to believe my team won't just fall off a cliff. I'm going into the season (again) with the knowledge this is a team still being built and is not a finished product. I'm nervous and yet I'm still confident in Sean McDermott's coaching abilities. I went in last year with low expectations and walked away finally having a HC I can believe in. He makes moves I agree with. He says things in a way I respect. The QB that takes us to the Superbowl may or may not be presently on the team and I don't care because I believe McDermott is going to give me a championship before his time is done in Buffalo. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show. I am in full support of the QB that starts this year to be the QB of the future besides AJMcarron, forget that guy.
  8. Another straw man. I could say that Peterman was satisfactory to McDermott and he has been very careful to start his other QBs to see if they can do any better. Covering all his bases. It looks like to me he is just giving every other QB outside of Peterman due diligence. Funny you think he protects Peterman and let's the teams 1st round draft pick get destroyed because? People are way more emotional over Allen than Peterman. He could cut Peterman tomorrow and you won't hear a peep.
  9. I'm ok with that. I liked the preview of Josh Allen. I think the offense needs to improve entirely in the grand scheme of things as well.
  10. Your correct that was Josh Allen's game to prove he was up to speed enough to get the start. We will never know how Peterman would have looked so why even use it as a talking point. It's just a straw man argument that cannot be proven.
  11. I felt the same way before preseason I do now. Except that I don't have any faith in AJMcarron now and I like Nathan Peterman more than I did.
  12. No QB on this team has outplayed Peterman. It wont be happening tomorrow.
  13. Peterman looked good in preseason and Josh Allen didn't look as good. Dismiss the one and excuse the other if it makes you feel better.
  14. So your telling me everything was made super easy for Peterman then they intentionally made it harder because Josh Allen. What your saying is everyone played better for Peterman and gave up for Josh Allen. Your right I don't know football. You would think that the plan was to make Josh Allen look good and the plan didn't work. Not plan to make him look bad to prop up another QB. I'll call McDermott and tell him that the team isn't having a fair competition.
  15. Tyrod got his chance to be a starting QB in Buffalo and still may be a starter in Cleveland. To be honest the team took a shot on a guy that I never knew existed. Tyrod Taylor was never spoken about until he came to Buffalo. We gave the man national attention. McDermott made him a playoff QB with his strength on defense. He still has fans and still has a chance to make a new narrative on himself. All that being said I trust McDermott and we benched him and then traded him for a 3rd round pick for a reason. I don't need to know what they thought Tyrod wasn't doing right. Tyrod can prove that the Bills were wrong just like Sammy or Dareus but forgive me for not thinking any of them make me look at my team like wtf you stupid?
  16. It's because Tyrod was benched when people still believed in him. Peterman was the bad guy and being the disaster it was lends credence to thier view on him. Some people on this board didn't want to bench Tyrod for Peterman. 26CB was one of those people and I definitely understand it leaving a bad impression of Peterman on him. I don't blame anyone for needing to see it in a real game to believe it. The guy they don't think can cut it is looking like the front runner. I can see that being frustrating. Remember there was a time we all jumped on the bandwagon before saying Peterman can! I know I'm doing it myself and I did it before. I literally told 26cb that at the time Peterman would be better than Tyrod. I'm here again saying yea Peterman looks good just chill out. I'm definitely on team Peterman right now but I can understand why some people choose not to be on the bandwagon. Only one person is going to convince Nathan Peterman doubters. That is Nathan Peterman. I enjoy the discussion but I'm not going to change anyones mind. It's going to take Nathan Peterman winning games in the regular season. If that happens I assume we will all enjoy it.
  17. I hope you understand that deep down I share the same concerns as some of you. I have concerns that his play style will lead to interceptions. I also think it's a real possibility he will miss games banged up. I'm not completely ignoring the opposition. I'm not exactly thrilled this might be the guy we have to count on getting the job done. All I'm saying is that he looks good in preseason and that leaves me with optimism. 7 for 7 and a TD first drive is the type of thing I am salivating over after a 3 point playoff game. If AJMcarron was doing that I would be on his thread talking him up. His thread doesn't exist for a reason. Josh Allen is impressive. He didn't look bad to me today if I'm just looking at him only. I think he did more right then wrong. I will be cringing like a lot of others if Peterman starts. Only I entertain the idea he might of grown up and isn't the same lost soul in that Chargers game.
  18. So he didn't make one play under pressure? Not one play running away from pressure to KB on the sideline? He didn't have a TD pass called back to then just do it again? I'm glad he makes it look that easy.
  19. I'm sorry I didn't know he started against 2nd stringers in the first game.
  20. I can't entertain thoughts like that. No way for me to see Peterman start today, I can't bend space and time or visit alternative reality. I can only say that when Peterman plays it looks better than everyone else. Although I understand your concern on Peterman. I have them as well.
  21. Preseason is all we have. Unless you want to live in the past. If you want to stay in the past then please consider that he wasn't a tire fire during the Colts game blizzard. It's preseason but if you have been keeping tabs he is the only one operating at the level he has been. It might be preseason but he is the only one looking good at all. It's Petermania or nothing. Embrace it. I've yet to see another of our QBs go 9/10 for a TD in a start. If preseason is so easy and Peterman is a fluke the other guys should be absolutely smoking him. It's not happening.
  22. I had a chance just now to watch Josh Allen's highlights. I was at work during the game. It didn't look as bad to me as the impression I got just reading opinions. I actually think he handled the pressure well. Yes a few times he was going to eat a sack regardless. A few times he earned the sack holding the ball to long. A few times he moves around in the pocket and makes a pass attempt. Two of them should of been a completion. One pass was under thrown crazy right? The other would of been an interception. He actually connected on some of the dink and dunk game. I'm not discouraged as others after a short view. That being said my vote goes to Peterman. I don't care the reason Peterman looked better. I don't think it's a conspiracy to game plan better for Peterman. Peterman has a better showing in preseason and that is fact.
  23. It's not if, it's when. Yes he will throw interceptions. I don't think he will get benched but I am pretty sure he will get banged up and miss games.
  24. I could of seen Allen go out and throw 9/10 and a TD, you know like Nate Peterman did in his first game. Also did it with the 3's that everyone cried got Josh Killed. Pass the Dutch man that's fire.
