A Few Thoughts About the Ravens Game, in no particular order
Lfod replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Undisciplined play with penalties causing the offence to move backwards more than forward. 2. The defense was terrible until about half time. They left Wrs wide open and missed a lot of tackles. They did come to life but it was too late. 3. Horrible game plan, you could tell the Ravens had the Bills figured out and dominated them by half time. 4. The team couldn't produce on offense. Couldn't run or pass the ball at all. Daboll isn't a wizard. The entire team look lost today besides the punting and Murphy returning kicks. Oh wait I forgotten the botched punt, scratch that thought. -
The team was obliterated on all levels today. I think people can vent a little. I get that some reaction was over the top but nothing I saw today gives me optimism for the next game. It was brutal. It wasn't fun watching the Ravens yuck it up on the sidelines.

2018 Nathan Peterman = 2013 Jeff Tuel
Lfod replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nathan Peterman hasn't finished an NFL game. I supported him in preseason. I was in favor of him starting. I really wanted the kid to get redemption. I could try to make excuses but I won't. I said to myself if they pull Nathan Peterman before the game was officially over then he is done for good in Buffalo. That is my opinion now. I won't put this disaster of a game all on Peterman. The defense didn't come alive until about half time. He didn't cause all the penalties. I just didn't think he had any perseverance in the face of adversity. He played scared then tried to be a hero and was pulled from the game. Peterman is straight toast now. I feel bad for him honestly. -
Shady was a non factor today.

Once he watches the tape its gonna be ok guys
Lfod replied to TheBeaneBandit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It won't be ok. It will be like watching a bad movie twice. You don't need to watch the film to know this team is bad all over. -
A lot of penalties and some of them wiped out good plays. The starting QB was pulled before half time. The game was over by the half. I wanted a competitive team. It's not losing as much as losing convincingly. No passing game and no run game and the defense didn't show signs of life until it was too late. It was a total disaster in all phases of the game. Really pathetic display today.

People having doubts about Peterman is not a surprise to me. I'm over it. He is the starter and I'll get to see if he's for real or not soon enough.

I find it hard to take this topic seriously. People don't want to know the truth. The offense was literally terrible last season. New OC and a system to go with it with absolutely little to no foundation to start with. It might just not be the year to roll with Allen because right now the offense has no identity. It may not be the answer you like or even the right answer but it's what the team is doing. They are going to try to make it work with Peterman. Just accept it. I support Peterman starting and I still think it most likely will get very ugly and that isn't all Petermans fault either. I'm glad to finally have a coach with a spine that won't detour from the ultimate vision he has. Peterman is going to take the field and probably take a ton of damage just trying to be the QB we wish he was. If you don't like Peterman you probably don't like the people in charge starting him. You don't like the team you support and that takes all the fun out of being a fan. I understand it because I never supported Rex Ryan and it made being a fan difficult.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Peterman will not have a repeat chargers performance. I do understand people thinking he could. I just don't think he gets the starting nod if the team was thinking he could crash and burn like that again. If Peterman is that bad he might make it to halftime. 0%

I'm excited for the season. This team needs to develop an offensive identity. I want to see if Daboll is able to find success and secure his job.

Is a "Bad" Year Really All That Bad for the Bills?
Lfod replied to Midwest1981's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Sean McDermott. The team under his management broke the drought in his first year as HC with a bum OC and a running QB on offense. I think the team is in good hands. Do not sleep on the Bills. If Daboll can run an offense this team will be deadly.
