First, let's put this into perspective........

3 years ago the management at OBD decided we needed a new QB.

They assembled a field of candidates that included Tyrod, Thad Lewis, and Jeff Tuel.

One of these guys would become the starting QB for the Buffalo Bills.

 

Tyrod won the job.

 

Last year, all the guys at OBD who thought this was a good idea got fired.

All except Tyrod.

 

Second, when they brought in the new coaching staff for interviews, the management at OBD asked everybody if they

were comfortable with Tyrod at starting QB. Rick Dennison apparently said he was comfortable with Tyrod, and took the job.

 

Rick Dennison probably told McDermoot and the Pegula's that he could design a system that would work with Tyrod at QB.

 

Fast forward to today.

 

Wrong!

It was EJ Manuel, Jef Tuel and Thad Lewis.

Tyrod beat out EJ and Matt Cassel

A lot of what those guys do is physics; if you way 560 lbs like the Japanese sumo champion usually does, it is going to be awfully hard for other guys to move you.  Have to have some degree of stamina and athleticism/balance of course, but the best Sumo wrestlers do, even at that size.  I realize a sumo wrestler doesn't have to run around much, but it's still an interesting idea.  Like how long before the NFL sees its first 400 lb. lineman? 

Interesting, however I think part of the difference is the added hindrance on mobility/quickness when you throw on full pads., vs a cloth diaper.

I love how Poyer and Hyde have not only been great players, but they seem passionate about their team and teammates. Then throw in goofy Tre White... what a great core secondary with a ton of heart and passion.

Same man, I am 30 and have watched every minute of almost every game (maybe miss 1 game a season due to things like a wedding or funeral). This is so bittersweet. I am not expecting them in the Superbowl at all... but getting this far is enough for me (for now)

How could anyone blame Peterman for the pick 6? He threw a pass that hit dimarco in the !@#$ing face.... and he popped right to defender.

Second one Peterman was hit while he threw, but I still put that on him, he shouldnt have tried to get the throw off, too much pressure.
