A lot of people point to Josh’s only bad game after injury being there patriots (who are known to destroy rookie qb’s) but there were three dropped TD passes in that game, assuming you include the one Foster lost in the sun. The bullet through Logan’s hands in back right side of end zone really frustrated me especially, it was a great tough throw with perfect ball placement away from DB

I think this was almost worse than the drops. Not just having first down plays called back, but man it seemed like we were starting 1st and 2nd and 15+ more than starting with only 10 to go. Josh actually threw down field to help counter it, but with our last several QB’s we would have given up on the drive before it began

I will say the second patriots game, I thought Allen played "fine." I counted three should be TD's that were dropped: Counting Foster losing ball in the sun on a perfect throw, bullet that went right through Logan Thomas hands at back right corner endzone, and I think the third was Zay jones left side of endzone. One of my friends happened to be watching this game (his first Bills game that season) and texted me halfway through the game "are the Bill's wr's always this terrible? This is disgusting." I think Allen actually played better vs the Pats than Darnold did.

If another team leaked them for the purpose of getting him to drop to them I dont think they would need to "check up on him" as it might also give other teams insight to X team is trying to get him much lower. All speculation of course - it could have very well been the Bills doing this.
