  1. Well yeah all three were obvious by sight. Im just saying i've played football... and pads when hit right will crack just as loud.
  2. This is why people were shocked that Duke Williams had so many targets in the one game he was actually on the field a lot. Josh went to him when WR's were covered because he is the only one capable of making a contested catch. Beasley isnt out fighting anyone for the ball, Brown only can on underthrown deep balls when he is first to break back on it. I think Brown can be a number as far as target and play priority... but we need a bigger body guy (not necessarily some 6' 5" giant), who will be physical enough to feel comfortable making a play if everyone is covered.
  3. In fairness shoulder to shoulder hits pop just as loud at times.
  4. I agree 100% with this. I think Allen is a stud and will get better, yes he needs to keep improving. But I dont think people take into account that rarely our WR's make plays on contested tight plays. John Brown on deep balls if they are thrown short is about the only time. So maybe sometimes Allen holds ball too long because he doesnt trust those tight plays? People wonder why he trusted Duke so much in playoffs... if players were covered he chose Duke since he actually can make those plays. Disclaimer, I really like what Beasley and Brown brought to our team so its not a knock on them. I watch a lot of Russell Wilson... most of his great plays are extended plays on scramble drills, or Lockett or Baldwin (years ago) making fantastic grabs while covered. Sorry, mini rant not directed at you at all
  5. I keep seeing this, I guess I am weird but I oddly would have felt more comfortable against the Chiefs than the Ravens or how Titans have been playing. Chiefs have an amazing pass offense, which plays into our strength, and chiefs defense fails to show up at times.
  6. And we wonder why Josh occasionally feels like he "needs to do it all himself."
  7. 'giving yourself up is in the rule book" quote it. Because you are flat wrong. Rulebook says you must go to ground, ball is kicked OB/uprights in endzone, or your wave fair catch OVER THE HEAD. the KR did NONE OF THIS. Neutral fans in reddit.com/NFL are mostly shocked the Bills didnt get the call on this. Regardless of "common sense." If you dont follow rulebook, its on you. So next Kick return, maybe KR'ers should walk ball 2 steps. If kickoff teams jog and give up - run it 40+ yards since you didnt give yourself up, just faked walking. If Kickoff teams dont lay off, just nee at top of endzone.....Maybe we should start guessing on all PR if a returner meant to fair catch or not
  8. you are both nuts. Its not the franchise QB's fault refs got over ruled based on "possible intent" on a KR. or a a Cody Ford "illegal blindside block" that no one else agrees with, including neutral fans and the head ref... Its not having Singletary rush for less attempts than Hyde yet being twice as effective. Its not having Gore come close to splitting 50-50 carries with Singletary. its not on Duke Williams dropping a perfect pass from Allen in endzone (yes covered and difficult). No its not on John Brown failing to toe tap sideline on a third down 20 yard almost completion. Its all on our young QB making a questionable aggressive decision to lateral to knox which ended up having 0 final bearing on the game. If the lateral is clean, knox might have 20 extra yards and its a genius play. Regardless the ball was dropped and slapped out of bounds for a complete non-factor.... but lets call that the bad play that cost us the game. Real smart, obviously major impact. PS: please suck on Doc's D more, I am sure he needs it. Just as bad as our D needs to stop Watson on 3rd and 18 in OT
  9. Ah sweet prince of 80's media. You are right, the play totally effected the game. I wont pick on you too much for your many late ***** remakes, but thank god the play had 0 bearing on the outcome of the game. But please, like the others lets keep nitpicking this Josh Allen play trying to win vs 5 linemen, losing to a 3 man rush within a second when the game is on the line... or Singletary rushing for less attempts than Hyde... or the bogus blindside block, or the taking 6 pts off board when Houston KR forgot the rules. You are right, the lateral was the play to define it all - when it meant nothing with the outcome. How do you view Watson's potential pick 6 that Siran Neal (our lke 5th string CB) dropped at their own 25? It was a play that happened that ended up having 0 bearing on the game. Imagine if Houston lost, and their fans go "man deshaun watson almost threw that pick six!" its the same thing. a possible bust play that didnt even happen, yet thats what we are latching on to lol... but yes this is all because of "Polish people."
  10. And I think your nuts. we have watched Tyrod, EJ, Edwards play "safe ball" and the payoff be what? Edwards running OB for a sack 11 yard loss on a 4th down to keep drive alive? I would much rather have the aggressive competitive player Josh is, than the scared ball we have seen for 20 years
  11. Agreed, and with that we still gave the ball to singletary 5 times less than Texans did with Hyde
  12. Yep, I want duke on the field as much as the next guy... but not at the expense of beasley. I guess I kind of get the in 2 man sets because he has a different skillset/size/blocking than brown and beas... But McKenzie over Beas in 3 man sets is inexcusable IMO
  13. Just like they dont mention Watson threw a ball directly to Neal who dropped it at their own like 30 yard line, possibly a pick-6
  14. The allen lateral had 0 bearing on the outcome. Its like saying "like Watson throwing right to Neal who dropped an easy pick in their territory" if Texans lost. It was a bad play, didnt effect game at all
  15. Good thing we only handed off to him 13 times versus super productive Hyde at 18 (sarcasm)
  16. For one, for some weird Daboll reason - many key plays had 3 WR with Duke, Brown and McKenzie. Not sure why Beasley was off field so much
  17. The fumbling thing has been a concern this year... I remember him running much more often last year and not fumbling
  18. Yet head of officials said the blindside block was INCORRECT> Also the "rule changes to kickoffs." The old saying is play until the whistle. How would you feel if bills guys saw him walk and started jogging off field and the returner took off and ran for 40 yards?
  19. I also noticed a lot of 3 man sets with Duke, Brown and McKenzie.... why isnt Beasley in there instead of McKenzie?
  20. Lineman should be criticized more for allowing a 3 man pressure to beat the 5 of them so instantly....
  21. True this... i've been banging the drum all evening... How you gonna let Hyde out carry Singletary in handoffs? Why does Gore have 8 carries for 22 yards to Singletary's 13 carries for 58.... They should not be that close in carry attempts
  22. And yet if he got that to Knox and Knox picks up another 10-20 he would be called a genius
  23. Im very indifferent to it. If he gets that off, knox had potential to get HUGE extra yardage... If he never attempted it thats fine too. The reality is, I will take a competitor like Josh than the Tyrod's, EJ's and Edwards we've had for so long who refused to make a play unless it was wide open.
