I agree with the latter, it is a risk. I'm willing to take it though. I've heard this emerging trend theory, I don't really put much stock in it. I think coaches are finding ways to maintain a level of success with lesser QBs, but still at the end of the day, the guy who can make the throws and not have to be given reads 1,2,3 and think for himself is winning more often than not. If you say 50% of first round QBs are a bust and that's why I don't want to trade up, I respect that more than Foles, Keenum, and Bortles were in the championship games.

12 sucks. I don't know how you people have forgotten 2001-2016 already. We always drafted 9-18 outside of a couple years. This is all a waste and an epic failure if they don't get to two now. Browns take a QB Giants take Barkley. I agree they have the ammunition but they have to want to do it. The Bills imo could have put a better offer together than what the Jets did. This is terrible news.

I went to school in Texas, I get it, but WNY is not even remotely liberal outside of the slivers of urban centers. That dude got lucky. I didn't see Perkins vs Ayton very much. But whatever, I'm learning it's a buffalo thing to not actually see what you saw, just see what you want. Now Harris took it to Ayton. He isoed him a couple times and pulled up in his face. He drove and Ayton was the help and still made the adjustments to hit the lay up. He was very impressive.

I just hope the browns take him 1. Makes it a lot easier on all of us, I'm not an expert, but I just have no interest in Allen or Rudolph. I don't want them in the 7th round. I'm in the minority who like Hughes... but If I was told Tampa would do it, and that we could parlay Tampa's pick into the top 3... I'd do it. As Estro pointed out, with the chart, Hughes for a late 2nd... That's great value given the way trades work in the NFL when it comes to players. I feel like players always get undervalued and I've been impressed with how Beane has done with the two trades so far this off season. So if he can make it work, I wouldn't be one to criticize it.
