The Bills by themselves had two worse superbowls and only gave up three points less in another. What the hell are you talking about? Worst performance by a defense. You're flat out wrong... 52 points? Philly has already rejected this offer. It's convenient to think you can just make what you want happen, but it takes two teams to agree to a trade, and Philly won't agree to this.

Shady, and it's not even close for me. I like a lot of other guys plenty too. I was just a fan of Shady in Philly, so when he came here I was excited. And the guy's lived up to it too, he hasn't been a disappointment at all on the field.

I always thought his age was a huge reason not to draft him. Same thing with Chris Weinke. However, I'm more of a proponent of youth. But that is true, his talent undid him right away, or lack there of, not solely his age.

So basically your point is just to ignore the points that don't agree with your evaluation of him for no reason? At least give me the Jeff Fisher argument, come on man. You don't build an argument for something by pointing to a dumb decision. That's not how logic works.

I'm pretty sure you're just saying this rather than actually having facts. Outside of Jim Kelly's era, I doubt the Bills have a greater winning percentage at home in December vs the Dolphins if you could hold for regular home field advantage variables. It's not some amazing win percentage other wise we would all know it, and it'd be put on the TV during every Bills home game vs the Dolphins in December. Great first post. Jordan Palmer has to say that. If he doesn't he won't get any work with QB prospects in the future. If he came out and said he's way to inconsistent when it comes to accuracy, Palmer would look terrible in multiple ways.

There's also people who know a lot more about football than you, and are unbiased, who don't like him. Say maybe Louis Riddick. That's a non starter when you try to make a point.

He threw at the combine. Most people thought he came off good in the combine interview. You have a predisposed bias against him for whatever reason. I'm not saying he's going to be great, but you're not being fair to him at all and just making things up. It's bizarre behavior.

We had this in 2014. It didn't work. We had everything but the QB.

They're at least genuine in what they believe. Payton could privately love a QB in this draft. He has a ton of self serving reasons to say this, whether they take a QB or not.

Dude... For his projected draft position, he's been getting a lot of attention. He even was during the college season. Part of the reason he got invited to the combine was due to people asking why he wasn't initially. He's been well covered.

None of those players were given raises last year on existing contracts. They were all extensions. You're really reaching to make a point, we just disagree. It's not really a right or wrong argument it's more of just a difference in beliefs.

I'm more familiar with the NBA, but they have a couple provisions where you can get the money off the cap. They're given one amnesty per CBA where they can just release and pay a guy for no reason and it doesn't count against the cap. I believe their is another way, I'll read up on it if you want, where a guy can be released due to injury and not count on the cap. I believe it was the case with Chris Bosh and his reoccurring blood clots. However, in the NBA injured players count against the cap. It'll never happen in the NFL and is way more complicated to make a reality in that league. It's just a principle I believe in. I understand it's not necessarily practical. Hence the reason I usually side with the player. I understand a lot of you disagree and you're all making legitimate points. Dude you're getting way too into this, read what I posted above. And when does a team ever just say, hey, you played good let's give you more money. They never do, look at the philosophy formed about taking advantage of building a team around an underpaid QB on his rookie contract. If contracts were fully guaranteed, then no, a player shouldn't hold out. But they aren't, which goes into my point on why it's not a two way street and I'm fine with guys holding out or asking for money. Because that's what they are doing, asking. The teams aren't asking, they're telling you it's this amount to leave or even nothing, or you can take this, your choice. The capitalized words are obnoxious.

Look, I believe in guaranteed contracts for the player. Renegotiating a contract is not honoring it in my opinion. It's idealistic and probably will never happen, but it's what I believe in. I've never renegotiated anything I owe people. I pay them what I agreed upon. I don't see what is hard about asking a billionaire and I understand the salary cap makes money more finite, that said, an organization like the Bills should be able to manage their money. You and me have salary caps every day in life and we manage it.

I agree. Fine cut him. I believe he would have made more money. I'd just rather the NFL have guaranteed contracts like the other major professional sports in North America.

But you're giving the team a pass. It's not like age is a random thing, they knew how old he'd be. I understand it wasn't Beanes contract, and maybe he'll prove me wrong. But teams seem to never plan on the one thing that is certain regarding players, not health, productivity, scheme fit, supporting cast... But age. You know a guy is getting older. Don't say we'll pay you X dollars on the front end when you're 34, then when we hit 34, say... actually, we're just gonna give you this. It's league wide, but it's scummy.

It's not a two way street though. Richie earned a new contract and that wasn't honored. I always have a hard time siding with teams over these things because of the way they treat players in relation to other sports. Richie plays good, earns a contract extension. A couple years later, they say, nevermind I don't want to pay that. It's just so warped to me, so all of you who say Richie should honor the contract he signed, the Bills didn't do that first. So when the Bills do this it's just the nature of the business, and when a player does it they get called all sorts of names, told their spoiled and to be happy with what they make now. All these teams are making way more money than any player and turn around and ask for money back from the players, and the public. They are the spoiled ones. I'm not the biggest fan of Richie personally, it just happens he's in a situation where I tend to side with the player.

I can only speak for Rochester...We're supposed to get an ice storm. I was supposed to go out, I live by Lake Ontario, and my car was covered in a sheet of ice so I stayed in. Heard it's fine like 5 mins south of my house, don't know if that kept up through out the night though.

So the QB should have out gunned NO? The SD game was Peterman.... The Jets game on Thursday night he got no help. I'm not saying Tyrod is great... but the team lost most of the games. If we don't hit on this pick and trade next years first, we'll regret it. It'll get them fired. They just gotta hit on the QB spot, which is incredibly difficult. I agree with this completely. I'm fine with a trade up... especially given the other moves they have made. I've disagreed with them at times, but they've been right and I've been wrong. I like that they have the conviction to stick to something they see. In my opinion, they aren't drafting a QB just because it's time, like Manuel. They built for this, I want them to follow through. If they continue other good personnel decisions, I'd give them a second go round if this doesn't work out.

All I can take away from that post is that your friends and family have awful taste in music. I would have just sold them... I'd be happy with 20 for a ticket.
