  1. I didnt vote yet. It's really between Thurman and McCoy for me because I have an actual like I watched them play attachment to them. However. Antowain Smith, I had to click results to see if he received any votes. And not to my surprise, he didn't. I just remember him getting a lot of hate in the late 90s. I was young, but I thought I was pretty perceptive. I'd love to hear some people older than me speak on how they thought he was regarded by fans. I remember, I could be wrong, but didn't he just a big ass run on that last scoring drive in Nashville in 99? I think he was forced out while stiff arming a guy or ran out pretty easily and after the dude busted a big run all I can remember is my dad bitching " Thurman would have scored" My dad is a hot take artist. I could also be completely wrong, I was 10. And I have no desire to watch that game again.
  2. Haha maybe I missed it. I usually pick up on the sarcasm. I thought he was referring to the 10,000 internet turds as people who are potentially going to comment about Patricia. I think it could go either way, or I could have completely misunderstood his point. Which if I did I apologize and I'll delete my post. Or leave it up for him to make me look like an idiot if he prefers that. If I was wrong, it's only fair. I interpreted it more as a point on how a scorned woman can destroy a man's life now, 25 years after something happened. (Even though it doesnt apply to her as shr appearantly wants nothing to do with the situation) Which isn't a point I really care much for. I actually do feel really bad for the woman involved and I feel for Patricia too. They were young, they were in whay was probably a wild environment. She may have been acting a little crazy, probably boozed up. He's boozed up too, girls are going crazy so he feels emboldened to behave a certain way. He does something, she hates it and reports it. Friends tell her you were doing this or that, or she thinks maybe it's my fault. Those conversations happen, and ultimately she decides, even if she was treated wrongly, she doesn't like how she represented herself and stops cooperating. She was ashamed and just wanted to move pass the incident. I don't want to convict him or say anything about her. I just think a big gray area exists in these situations and so many people want it to just be black and white.
  3. For potentially being the victim of sexual assault? Probably not. I also don't get the weird aggressiveness you have towards rape victims. Is what you listed what you think happens to rape victims? Are you from the middle east? Or did you really just not think about what you wrote at all?
  4. Wow man, that is some !@#$ed up ****. You believe in burdening rape victims, and forcing them to relive painful moments. I can't put myself in the shoes of a woman who has been raped, so I don't think it's right for me to tell them how they should act, grieve, and try to recover and hopefully live with some normalcy. I bet you thought you were clever with this one... Then he faded you brah
  5. If foster never went to Alabama would you still be making this post? Your **** is so obviously biased it's cult like. Go to a bama board man. We don't give a !@#$. And I think Patricia is probably a creep. Looks like padre island during spring break. Not giving him a pass, but I went to school in Texas. Padre Island for the month of March is like soft core porn, it was like those girls gone wild ads you used to see before the internet existed late at night. It's crazy. Can definitely see an idiot making some bad decisions there, male or female.
  6. I'm guessing burning in the campfire is more the bust route right? Let's think of your kids selling it
  7. I understand why he can be grating to some listeners. Some days I enjoy listening other days I listen, and I'm just like the !@#$ is this dude talking about. I think he out thinks himself sometimes. For example, he was criticizing the McCoy trade Monday saying it set the franchise back because they committed to being run first. He then went on to say he didn't care what they gave up, he just cared that they got an elite talent at running the ball and that would prevent them from effectively passing. Bulldog said he didn't think they had the qb to do that, and I was a Tyrod guy and even I disagree with Schopp. All he said was, well I think they did, and that was the end of the convo. He didn't really support his point or anything and you'd think saying the McCoy trade was bad is worth more than one segment, especially in May. Yet it just ended abruptly. So when I hear him make the McCoy trade into a negative I start to understand where posters are coming from. The guy is bitching about McCoy, !@#$ing McCoy. That's a no fly zone for me.
  8. I suppose so. I'm the guy who wins 50 bucks gambling and walks away immediately. That's just how I am. And if Allen pans out, he'll want to sell it even less.
  9. This isn't because I wanted Rosen, this is because you won the gamble. I understand wanting the card because of value that you can't monetize, but man you won the gamble. Like really, you won it. Cash out man. If you can get 7gs or even half that, I think you take it. I used to be a cashier at a corner store that sold scratch offs, it's not completely apt, but I remember a dude winning like 350. It was pretty close to the max I could redeem. I watched him spend that 350 and like another 300 all on losing tickets. I didn't understand it, he won like 350 on a $5 ticket. My point is, take the money man. You did what you set out to do. I'm really just giving you a hard time, I'm happy that the card went to someone who values it so much where it's not even a debate to sell it. Congrats man
  10. It's still crazy talk. He's talking about trading up to 4 and taking a CB then guaranteed to get Allen. Literally nothing is preventing from a Ward- White swap today. They aren't getting Allen and Edmunds and keeping both two's. This scenario is just ridiculous, Cleveland isn't giving up 4 for just White. Nothing makes sense he mentioned.
  11. I'm sorry.... what? Do the bills you have to pay include one for an oxygen tank? I don't think your brain is getting enough
  12. That guy is a !@#$ing moron and doesn't know what he's talking about. Everything I hear and read is that that paper is one of the few doing good. And I don't care what it does. Well actually I'd like for it to do well because papers provide useful local news outside of sports which many of the ass hats on this board, including Ddaryl apparently don't have any interest in at all. I'm in Rochester, I don't know anyone employed by BN, have nothing to do with them and rarely read it. But the amount of hate it gets for just a dumb sports team vs all the other potential good and role they serve in the community is just stupid. BN goes out of business, who else is covering that **** hole? You'll be getting what I get in Rochester on weekdays, it's just the USA today pretty much and it blows.
  13. Wow you do not understand the media at all. The Bills, Sabres, and the Pegulas are not their clients. How would you even come up with this concept? You are just severely misunderstanding things. You must be one of the hosts or related to them. That show is awful. I think Schopp says some stupid things, but they are a 1000x better than that garbage.
  14. I disagree, I think the game is way different than it was in 97 but perhaps not everyone does. I'm lazy so I haven't looked up the stats but I'd be convinced their is more 4000 and 3000 yard passers. Which would imo inherently translate to receivers stats. I'd go with more TDs too, however, I think last year was an outlier. It seemed the games were lower scoring, and less TDs vs FG than the 5 years that came before it.
  15. Interesting thread, I see both points. I also think what factors into it is the nature of the adjustments. Calling more of a specific play and just swapping out a skill guy on offense or just playing a different guy in defense whose skill set is better suited to one specific aspect is a switch you can make on the fly in my opinion. A larger schematic change the requires different positions to work together and something a team may not have worked on in weeks may better suit a halftime change seeing as you can address it with all position groups at the same time, go into more detail and allow the players to receive the information in a different environment together. However, a question I'm genuinely curious about, who are the great coaches the OP has met?
  16. Except for what? Moulds rookie year was in like 97 or 96. It's such an awful comparison. They're not the same style of receiver either. Anyone who wants to compare Moulds first two years to Zays is clueless. They're probably the same people who compared EJs first season to Unitas first starts. The game has changed, stop it with this stupidity.
  17. So am I missing something or do you not know how every other vehicle of media works? The BN physical paper was never given out for free because it had ads in it
  18. I know, how do these people contain their excitement for a 29 year old back up RB? It's not like they haven't brought in another old back up RB from Carolina before who flopped. Or traded for a Carolina WR who they ended up cutting and who went back to Carolina. Why would anyone not get excited for another Carolina pick up? Barring injury, I'd be pretty surprised if he's the 3rd down RB.
  19. So much of this post is just subjective. Who's the "non hard working" player? When Watkins was drafted and afterward all we heard about was his work ethic. Selfish? Possibly, work ethic was never a question. Tyrod? Never heard he was lazy. Darby? All he did was start on a Superbowl winning defense. Dareus? That's the only one you could make a case for being lazy and I wouldn't even agree with that completely. Stupid, yes, lazy, I can't say for sure. They didn't just get rid of "non hard working" players and replace them with money. They got rid of talent, that's why they have money for next off season. They haven't committed to anyone. It'll be interesting to see how this next season goes. This is absolutely right, and makes this so frustrating to me. That team was !@#$ing trash last year, but now people are saying they were good and moving in the right direction. I do think they deserve credit for over achieving, but just because you did that one year doesn't make me believe in them.
  20. You're not trolling, you're making a fair point. How could anyone say anything otherwise? Trolling would be what I'm about to do which I honestly just thought of for the first time. What guy preaches trust and this and that bull **** while working under a boss he was trying to get or knew was getting fired. I love the character of our coach, a real straight shooter.
  21. So are you unable to post images or just simple? Thought I was pretty fair, but whatever. Also, when you call me a dbag how does your theory work for you? I mean, you grow up completely different than everyone else. It's probably more of a how people relate to each other thing rather than them being actual dbags. It's all socialization. Anyways, isn't the point you're making counter to the reason why this board and possibly even most of you don't like Rosen? So I'm a prejudiced dbag for saying I heard Pegulas kids were dbags and that I'm not surprised or wouldn't hold that against them because their parents are billionaires and grew up in a way that makes it hard for people to relate to them and for them to relate to most people. However, Rosen is a spoiled brat who will never succeed for growing up with chump change compared to the Pegulas. Whatever.
  22. Could you imagine if he can troll them into a response? He's a joke, that's all he wants
  23. I agree. I've heard the kids are dbags. However, I don't really hold that against them. I think it's probably impossible to grow up as the kids of billionaires and not be dbags.
