He just stumbled over words, tons of awkward pauses. Consistently gets names and calls wrong. As the horse collar call against Allen was being replayed he said he clearly got a handful of Allen's facemask. Said Josh McDermott should throw the challenge flag. If it happened just once, I'd understand, but it has been through out every preseason game. I guess I maybe an oddity. It's not his analysis that bothers me, because I do think when he finally spits it out, it's ok. But the simple things just from a technical stand point annoy the hell out of me. He just sounds so amateur, so that these national guys everyone complains about seem amazing. Which in reality, they are actually decent at their job despite how much we complain. Wow Jay Crawford. Is he the guy from that old ass ESPN Cold Pizza show?
-
Bills commentary wasn't much better. Tasker is just a disaster. I don't know who his partner was, but I thought he was decent for the most part. Granted I didn't watch the whole game.
-
Which is exactly why he's not a great RB. He's respectable, but he's no where near great. That franchise doesn't have a history of good rbs, and has been emphasizing the pass as you pointed out for like the last 15 years. Being the Saints all time leading rusher for a shade over 6,000 yds, over 8 years isn't impressive. He's be respectable, but he's not someone I'd use to debunk the narrative that Alabama doesn't churn out offensive talent. However, the more I think about it, they are probably right where they should be. Clemson, FSU, USC, ND, OSU could have cases made against their offensive players being underwhelming. It's Preseason. I like Ridley but the guy hasn't played a regular season game. You're not making any points on Ridley that put him in the conversation of good NFL players Alabama has produced. I'm done because clearly you're unhinged.
-
Julios great. Cooper was awful last year, the jury is still out on him. Ridley hasn't even played a snap yet. Mark Ingram has a whopping 2 1000 yard seasons I believe. He's taken 7 seasons to rush for 5,000 yds. That's a bit of a misleading statistic. So you're 1/4. Terrific point.

Bills @ Browns Gameday thread
Ol Dirty B replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Been impressed with Murphy both games. This is our starters vs 2s. I'm liking Lee also. Seems to have reliable hands and gets up field after making the catch quickly. Really impressive play by Allen there in the red zone. I wasn't a fan of the pick, but he throws a beautiful ball. Even on the shorter routes, the zip is just flat out impressive. -

How is tasker so bad at this? I'll take the call it was tough to tell live, but absolutely no hand full of face mask. -

Do you want to go .500? I know it's a stupid Schopp point, but I do agree with him that it's the worse place to be. Playoffs or awful. That's what I want. -

In my opinion, this coaching staff has been no different than previous ones in that regard. They have their guys and will be stubborn about it despite what everyone else sees, granted most of us are just fans reaching conclusions. -

I've always thought Colton was good. But I'll defer to you in light of your name. As a Bills fan, I should have better punting acumen. -
It's all odd. I don't know if it's a prank or what. On the draft special he was apart of he even says Tyrod.

You make awful points. Foster played in a better program, had a worse collegiate career. Rogers was supposedly a 3rd round grade or so but wouldn't quit smoking weed. Rogers had a way higher upside. Tennessee is in the SEC, wtf are you talking about? I'm trying to respect your point, but you have no respect for others points and just make flat out wrong ones. How is Rogers not similar to Foster? They are both bigger WRs with some speed. They both played in the SEC, they both have great potential from a physical stand point. I keep getting warnings so I'm not going to go on with what I think of you now. But you totally lost me on any respect I had for you. That post was atrocious. You make up what you want to see.
-
Fair enough. It just seems to work the other way. I, like a lot of others hope Foster is a surprise. I just don't see it happening. He has all the physical tools. I just don't think he will. It wasn't as much but his hype reminds me of Da'rick Rogers out of Tennessee if I remember his name correctly. A guy with potential, but at that level more times the potential goes unfulfilled rather than working out.
-
I agree on Tasker. He's atrocious, that doesn't change the fact it'd be a huge surprise if Foster makes the team, let alone contributes. Or the fact you only created this thread because he went to Alabama. Just own the bias dude. People would respect your posts a lot more in my opinion. Don't call it independent thinking, it's not.
-
He was playing 3rd stringers against a secondary that was planning on starting Cockrell, and is now looking at Kevon Seymour. Those guys are garbage he was playing. I like his athleticism and would love a surprise. But quit it with the agenda. You only created this thread because of the Alabama connection. It's so transparent, it'd be better if you just owned it. What if Tasker went to Alabama? You'd be having a hell of an identity crisis right now.

Jalen Ramsey trash talking a lot of QB's
Ol Dirty B replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watson has a similar sample size as Jimmy G and played far better. Also you're only picking the black guy. He said him and Wentz are gonna be battling it out for MVP over the next 5-10 years. It's his opinion, you can disagree with it, but I don't find it horrid or anything this thread made it out to be. He's dating golden tates sister. Do any of you actually read the articles the thread is about? -

White QBs he praised... Rodgers, Brady, Wentz- said he's also a future MVP with Watson but let's ignore that and play the race card. Foles, Cousins. Some of the posts are down right embarrassing in this thread. -

I hate the Jags because of Marrone, and I hate the Pats. But again your whole they lost to the Pats thing is a non starter as a Bills fan. Go to Jacksonville in a Bills jersey and brag about how Jalen talks too much because he lost to the Pats and see the response you get. Also I'm starting to see more and more people come out and say they aren't sold on Jimmy G. When he came into start it aligned for him well... But hey black guy said he's not sold on white qb, RACIST! My god not being sold on someone turned to racism is just ridicolous. -

Pretty sure he wasn't high on Dak. But that doesn't go along with the white people's narrative on here, so we will just ignore that. Right? Why read the whole article when you can be emotionally charged and call a black guy a racist because he doesn't like something as stupid as your qb. Then you can go into another thread and say you're tired of Tyrod playing the race card so much. I genuinely hope this sort of ignorance and hypocrisy isn't limited to Bills fans, which I don't think it is. But reading this sensitive garbage is too much. -

Bills lost to the jags in the playoffs. Are you a bills fan or a NE fan? NE beating them does nothing for us. All we can do is hope Allen turns out and makes him eat his words. Not be sensitive and say, well you lost to the Pats. Sports fans are so sensitive despite their every effort to make it seem otherwise. (Not directed at you, just what I generally see in this thread) -
Hard Knocks 2018: The Cleveland Browns
Ol Dirty B replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How so? I don't mean that dismissively I mean that honestly. I'm open to other opinions. Except for pimpin bills, a white kid rotating through Katt Williams avatars in 2018 is like 15 years behind the game. -
Khalil Mack holding out... in Buffalo

If GB is making the offer, why would he refuse to sign there? I'm sorry but you're at the point of writing a fiction novel with all of these assumptions. -

Lol thanks have a good one. Worried about him being a good HC, are you illiterate? Just put me on ignore. Don't care what you think. I completely agree with you on this. That's why I'm saying the assistants look like sharks smelling blood in the water. Both Haley and Williams, and probably a few others took those jobs to advance themselves. Hopefully get a few games as interim HC, win a game or two and pit their name in the mix for another HC job. -

I haven't watched the second episode yet, but the first made me appreciate Hue Jackson more. I've generally liked what I've seen from him, he's landed in to dysfunctional spots that make the Bills during the drought look competent at all times. I'm not saying I'm right, it's just how I feel watching it. It's impossible to say a guy who is 1-31 or whatever is doing a good job. But that roster has been a mess. Now if you're talking whole coaching staff, that meeting in the first episode looks like a train wreck where guys are challenging him. It was sharks smelling blood in the water. But his interactions with players, I generally liked it, especially the talk with Baker. Also, all the **** he has been through and kept it to himself, stayed a professional. Didn't tell people or whine about it even though you could tell he was hurting, I thought it was admirable. That does nothing as a head coach, but I just generally find him to be a good guy. And a sympathetic figure at this point. I don't like a lot of NFL coaches, but I do hope somewhere, if not Cleveland, he finds success as a HC.
