  1. The guy has played 2 games... how the !@#$ can you call anything he does "once in a long while"? If he forces a fumble every other game he's a HOF. What a dumb rambling paragraph of nonsense.
  2. No because he doesn't understand you can have two good corners. Just like he doesn't understand you could have two good tackles. Don't speak this much sense to the people. Salary cap. Idk I just feel like that's all I have to say to justify every move they've made. Man you are touched dude.
  3. I agree, but that doesn't change the fact they weren't doing their jobs. No one showed an inclination of reacting to what was happening. They were awful. And the bad calls went both ways. Our first td was on a false start. My god this post is so stupid. You act as if it was nothing then in the next sentence call it a dirty hit then say the guy should be ejected. Hockey fans are so dumb.
  4. No interest in UB. It's a nice story, wish them and their alumni the best, but even when they win they'll always be irrelevant.
  5. This is what Whaley was doing and the board still is all over him for it.
  6. I expected a down year. I expected something like this last year, in fact, I would have preferred it so we only had to give up draft capital to get Edmunds and they could have just had their choice of QB. Instead, they middled it. I don't understand the Benjamin trade to this day at all. I don't get the Zay Jones pick. The timing of the Dareus trade didn't make much sense. The trading of Tyrod, bringing in McCarron then trading him, starting Peterman sequence did make much sense. Ever since Sammy was traded everyone has wondered where the receivers were. Cordy is a proven talent in the league, and despite what everyone on here and the hosts at wgr will tell you "that you can't just trade for a starting o lineman, they're hard to find, they just don't give them away". We did just that. They ate 15 mil in dead money just so they could spend another 10 on a dt who is worse. If anyone could come up with a better example of cutting off your nose to spite your face, please share, as it must be hysterical. The issue isn't the rebuild, or that they're bad. The issue is that they don't seem to have a plan in place other than cutting guys for not being "their guys" or blaming their predecessors. I don't understand how this fanbase can be behind a guy who is so spineless. McDermott has never taken any responsibility for decisions he makes. He didn't own the Peterman experiment- twice, and he gave this awful comment about how they are a much better roster than what he inherited last week.
  7. What a boring game. It really is awful, hope the 4th rescues it.
  8. I'm pretty sure Hyde poyer and hauschka were all here before Beane...
  9. Saquon looks amazing... I wasn't sure what to make of him, but damn he looks good. Not saying he was the right pick at that spot, but I think he's going to be fun to watch.
  10. Doug Marrone took advantage of an opt out clause in the event of a change in ownership. No one ran him out of town, and he wasn't going to be after posting 9-7 season
  11. I'd think the irrational weirdo would be the one wishing others would jump off a bridge for making a thread during the game. But that's just me.
  12. Welcome to September 2017.
  13. They've shown little that they'd know what to do with money. Better off riding out those bad contracts instead of eating them and washing them down with more bad contracts
  14. They're far more talented... that said, he didn't take the team over and run everyone out of town.
  15. I'm glad some took the time to reply and break that post down. I'm so tired of people just anointing Allen and Edmunds. I'd love for them to pan out, but they haven't proven to be franchise players at all.
  16. Exactly, they created a need in order to free up space in the future. Then they went and wasted 30m on that self created need and wasted some of the "precious" cap space. It just compounds.
  17. Marines, it has happened. They're called deserters, history is full of them. I don't have examples of teachers or fire fighters. Chefs quit during rushes all the time... Football players are just like regular people. As all are just jobs, some people handle things well, others, not so much.
  18. He should not be on the wall. Because he's your favorite isn't justification. I loved Stevie and he belongs no where near the wall.
  19. This is what I remember also. My dad used to go on and on about this. I met him once as a kid, really great guy. Wish I could say that about some others but anyways. As I've gotten older I've noticed my dad's sports opinions are awful. Much like mine lol
  20. Plenty of other people could have been cut. The FB never used, all the receivers below Kerley, Jones, a couple of back up offensive linemen. I'm sure a ****ty db exists somewhere. I haven't seen this mentioned but this team game planned to get Kerley involved on the first drive, and I was pissed. I'm sure if i made that post a lot of you would be mad last week. This week he's cut. A disconnect exists between giving a guy two targets opening week then cutting him next week. I don't agree with how this team is being ran at all.
  21. This dude is going down with the ship. And I can't wait to see how you act after it goes down.
  22. Man you ramble on and on. Tyrod is doing in Cleveland what he could have easily done here. He has been a mentor to Baker. You're in denial. Dawkins, I agreed was good, the point is because he's good, doesn't mean you don't ship talent out of town and then sit on your hands. Last I checked, teams usually employ a right and left tackle. And Edmunds didn't go top 10, I guess we really got the 1 overall selected pick because Kiper suggested that too at one point for Allen. You're arguing that mocks matter more over what actually happened. Just like most of your points, it's disingenuous to reality.
  23. No, the decisions they made last year built towards this. This isn't just they got blown out 1 game. This is a team with out talent, and already looks like players could start pointing fingers. I could be way off on the latter point, because as much as I've criticized McDermott he has done well enough to keep any dissent out of the public.
  24. This sounds like a crazy undertaking. That's leaving at like 5 to be safe every Sunday and getting home at 1? Am I wrong? Hope you enjoy it, but wow that sounds like some long days.
