  1. Eh... Big Ben had 295 attempts in 13 games for his rookie year. Rarely threw more than 10 passes is an incredible stretch.
  2. It's irrational, but at this point I wish they'd just cut him. I can't watch him anymore. He's a douche bag. The only game he got up for was week 1 of preseason against his old team which says a lot about him. Don't care who picks him up... Get him out of here.
  3. We're probably actually agreeing. I don't care about year 1 either. I don't care what a Hall of Famer did, just like their has been guys who came in year 1 and played great then the league figured them out. I'm just not a fan of bringing up anyone's year 1 and trying to relate that to how a QB will produce in the future. But yes, your HOF point is completely like hitting the Powerball. A guy playing like crap then becoming a hall of Famer is a great comparison. They lose over and over again, then they hit. All these guys work hard. You seriously think hard work is what it was that separates Hall of Fame QB's from the rest? Some guys are just gifted in how they process the speed of the game, athleticism, and being drafted to the right place. Plenty of hard workers have not made the HOF. Leave it to blue collar Buffalo to trot out the hard working bs narrative.
  4. Respond to my other post. It's becoming routine on here, well the internet in general, that when someone says something you can't prove wrong. You call him a troll. I don't mind Allen using his legs, and I hope he can do what you and them hope he can. I just haven't seen one sign of that yet. Again, as I've said, and you've ignored. It's early, he was dealt a ****ty hand. The oline struggles, run game struggles, his wr's suck. He's in an awful position. **** even his coordinator is questionable. It's a lot for him to overcome and I recognize that. It's just weird that they ran the guy, the fans too, out of town who used his legs and now people want more of this guy using his legs and are completely infatuated with it...
  5. I realized the contradictory nature of my post. When I try to look at things and just view them as they are, no bias, just with my mind, I say I can't make judgment on Allen. I say he has nothing to work with, he has been dealt a ****ty hand. When I view it and I'm just real with myself, I look at it, and I think this guy hasn't done a thing to impress me with his arm. He has with his legs, and I know he has great arm power, but that hasn't translated once yet. Again, the other part of me says he has nothing to be on the receiving end. I think it's a pretty fair place to be in. Again, your Hall of Fame rookie season point proves nothing. If you can't get that I don't know what to tell you. Hall of Famers are by nature an aberration statistically, that's why they are in the HOF. It's like saying hey this guy won the lottery after playing the same numbers for 50 years, so you should to. It doesn't translate. It is completely meaningless. The crappy fan and intellectually dishonest **** is just the cherry, I mean stupid on top. I'm actually being completely honest, and I don't get that bad fan **** at all.
  6. Oh no my friend. You are in an argument, and it is for your Bills fandom. Big John from riverside has laid down the gauntlet, and though you may never be sure what his point is. If he thinks you criticized this organization, football Gods be damned. He'll shun you from the Bills, like a mennonite, because he obviously uses electricity to post on here and drinks. Fake Amish.
  7. Didn't we get rid of the last guy who got them to playoffs because he relies on his legs to make plays? Now we want more of it?
  8. Their is nothing to be gained from digging through game logs of HOF QB's. It is an absolutely stupid point. For every HOF'er, I can find you probably 10 guys with bad stats. I'm not saying Allen is bad, but that whole "Well John Elway in his first game", or "In Aikman's first season", or "Peyton once threw x amout of interceptions" is just beyond dumb. It really is. You're not proving or doing anything other than making yourself feel better. I'm not sold on Allen, at all. I actually think he is bad. However, this team has given him nothing to work with. So I'm still holding out hope... and in the long run, I'm just a fan. My opinion doesn't mean ****. But trotting out all that other stuff, it's a waste of time.
  9. Whenever I see posts like this, and it's no where near, not even close to as serious. But it always gives me this creepy rapey vibe, "just take it" "just embrace it". It's way too aggressive. People can not agree with that vague cliche you put out there, they actually have a right to. So no, I won't embrace the process. I don't accept things that aren't clearly defined.
  10. It was a joke. Also I don't like the packers, at all. Why should I?
  11. This guy is too nice. What's his deal? Something's up.
  12. I agree and understand what you're saying. In theory or perhaps in reality Allen is better at the sneak. I just don't think Watson's size is justification for not doing that there.
  13. It's all good, wasn't trying to be a dick about it. We posted at like the same time so I figured you hadn't seen it. And I totally get your point.
  14. I missed that, I clarified it in my last post. I can see why you guys would think that. I'd still take Watson. I think it was just bad play calling.
  15. I think the issue with that play was the play calling rather than Watson vs Allen. Perhaps Allen's size is an advantage is that what you were referring to? I still don't think Allen gets in on that play. I think you put them both under center and fall forward.
  16. Ugh... Watson is by far the better QB at this point.
  17. Collinsworth is by far the worst announcer in my opinion. I had no idea what he was talking about on that play.
  18. I'll say when he addresses the team, he looks pretty well doing it. It makes me understand how they keep playing for him despite blow outs or even questionable decisions. I know that really seems like a backhanded compliment, and it is. But that's not my intent at all. He just seems like he can really reach his team when I see videos like this. Giving Shaq the gameball was a great moment. All 3 were, but it just showed another level of empathy or understanding that doesn't appear always from the outside.
  19. Lol Did you see how they pressed and primped Josh Allen's jersey today? A good QB needs 24 inches circumference to get a proper throwing motion. Schopp told me his analytics guy said he only had 19. This is basic organizational stuff. If McDermott and Beane can't find proper equipment staff, how can we trust this regime to make draft picks?
  20. I think you are probably right there. You put it better than I did. How he is perceived by us in terms of personality or what he shows is rather meaningless. But I'll agree personality is important in all aspects of life, but a personality type is important when you have to manage all the people that they do.
  21. I wasn't a fan of the signing. I was wrong. He has been a great 2nd RB. They did well on this one.
  22. Weird because most people think McDermott has no personality. Just clapping, yelling, and having a pulse doesn't equate to personality. That said, I'm not sure what "having personality" has to do with coaching a team.
  23. My god... what happened to you in your life where you feel compelled to spew crap like this?
  24. Fair enough. I thought you were making a larger point about fans who are critical of the team. My bad, totally agree on the McCoy point
  25. Yes... all must think like you. Other opinions are nonsense. I don't agree at all with the trading McCoy crap, and I'm sure the OP and plenty of other posters even with criticism wanted the Bills to win. I can go to a game, have fun and be loud, but then afterwards or even during the game say or think, this offense is awful. Being a fan and blindly praising and being optimistic, don't have to be mutually exclusive. Usually when they do they result in stupidity. I'm happy they won, defense is looking great, but the offense is still awful. I can't take away anything from Allen's performances because of what they put around him. I can't believe anyone would stick up for these receivers. They are just flat out bad. They'd all maybe make nice 3's?
