SNF: CIN vs. KC at 8:20 PM ET on NBC

So where the homers at? -
Well Carolina gave him the ok, so maybe next year we can bring him in. On a serious note, I don't think we need him. I think hyde is better at safety. Edit- after watching it, a lot of you will disagree. I've been or Reid's side with the settlement, he has never changed his tune, and he believes in it. He has taken all the ***** that comes with it.

I guess you have to pick your battles where you can win them. -
They've also done everything that flys in the face of these dead cap, bad contract excuse makers.

Not disagreeing with you, but why did we draft the crap version of Mahomes a year later? If you have theory outside of McDermott wanted Beane to have input on that big of an investment. Only asking because you seem to get it with that post. These guys have no plans but cashing paychecks. You don't handle a 100 million dollar investment like these guys have. Or I should say hopefully a 100 million dollar investment. -

I wished I liked that sport, it does nothing for me. Loved it as a kid back when Hasek was playing, and I love when they do good. I just don't care. -

It really will. I like watching him, but I also hate it. -

I was wrong on Mahomes. Totally willing to own that.... but I watch him, and it still hurts... If Allen doesn't pan out this will really suck -
It was Rex trying to save himself. I agree. He wasn't even given the option

I've been saying mahomes is a product of Reid and the weapons, after watching him throw the last TD..... Allen can't do that. -
No you don't get it. This year we are supposed to lose, and you're the loser for not accepting that. Something about the tank and idk, gym teachers are smart, process, respect the football
-
The issue is he never turned down a Bills interview. The fact they never attempted to get him is the problem. What offensive minded coach did they even kick the tires on?
-
I usually make it a point to go night games, and pat games. I opted out this year, blah, blah, blah, real fan nonsense. What the fans don't get, and what the Pats do at Orchard Park is run a no huddle. The fans have to be loud immediately after the play. Brady just throws 5 yards at a time down the field and the fans don't get loud until he is about to snap it on a silent count. It happens year in and year out. I'm not going anymore until he retires and they get talent on offense. Then I get the guy bitching behind me about standing and yelling in the 1st quarter. I'm watching on TV.
-
I understand that view, and respect it. However, what about this being a dead cap year meant they couldn't do anything with the offense. I love the idea of the Allen pick. He wasn't my guy, but I'm pulling for him. Yet we are looking at hopefully a 150 million dollar investment and they have just completely mismanaged it. That's where my distrust of them comes from. If Anderson or peterman played every snap and this year was as you say, I'd understand. However, they just threw 150 million dollars out after the first half of the first game. You can see how some of us see them as short sighted right? If he knew it was just a wasted year, no worries, you don't put Allen out there. I don't care how bad it is.

I'm not sure in the point of this argument. He had a concussion and Mayfield outplayed him. Allen, I don't know if he'd out play him in Cleveland. They have more to work with, Big Ben's old pal as OC, he may play great out there. Are we seriously going through this? At this point, he'd perform better than any QB on the Bills roster with the Bills roster, in my opinion. What a ***** stupid sentence, but I have to say it that way. The plan was to redshirt Allen. Tyrod, while his cap hit sucked and may have not been workable seems like the perfect guy for that. He plays well enough where half the fanbase will love him, and half will hate him. He would have been good enough so that they didnt have to throw Allen to the fire with the dumpster around him. Go ask @John from Riverside or @joesixpack, maybe you can get an opinion out of them. Damn that was a good ass post you quoted

This atrocity should be expected

I hope you're right. First, that there is serious improvement. And secondly, that I'm wrong about that excuse being accepted -

I think we see the same thing, but take different things away from it. I could very well be wrong and they have a plan. I just think you have to do something, and I already see the excuse being laid out where you can't rebuild an Oline, WR corps, TE's, RB in one off season and it will take time. I understand they lost out on John Brown, but what else did they even attempt? So when they trot out you can't build the Rome in a day BS I'm going to think back to this off season. -
I didnt misread anything, you're the one who lacks an ability for context or the understanding of variations. I never said Tyrod was good, a place exists between sucks and good. You do realize that?

Do you see a plan on offense? I'm trying to figure it out, I just don't see it. They've ignored it. The common explanation trotted out is last year was defense, next year is offense. I don't really believe you rebuild like that. -

I agree with that to an extent. It is odd because I feel like most of the people shocked by how bad it is are saying the stuff you wrote. I could be wrong. I thought the team would be bad, I was expecting it. I think it is just how they're losing, listening to McHerps, they're just awful. They're losing, and they've shown nothing to address weaknesses. Some of us have been asking for a WR for a year and a half now. They did nothing as far as back up QB. They just look totally lost in my opinion. I can watch a team lose and not call for heads. But I just don't trust these guys at all. The defense is great, he realizes he has to score some points though right? They just appear to have no interest in the offense, and that's putting it nicely. Deep down I'd rather qualify it as clueless. -
I'm sorry guy, but your post is awful. I never said tyrod was a good qb, but he was mismanaged last year and they're doing it again. He's better by far than anything on this roster. I'm not saying he's good, he's just better. And if you don't think it was lucky the way the Bills made the playoffs last year, dictionary.com Look up luck. They deserve a good bounce here and there after all the *****. But that was ***** luck.
