  1. The teams with the best offenses had byes.... I wouldn't read too much into it. You still need a defense but the first two games of wildcard weekend isn't determing the trend the game is going in. In 1970.
  2. I know they are good. They did the same thing the hockey team. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm disagreeing with others talking about how they are worse than Oakland and a players vote in 06 said this but can't source it. Can anyone explain to me why they started saying eiffert doesn't know what he is talking about or this, that, and the other about the dude based off the OP? He said him and his wife always recruit FA's to come to Buffalo lol. Who has he recruited and why would they listen? It's borderline delusional.
  3. I cant believe a thread where a guy cites his wife was working out with Tyler Eiferts dad, and he goes on about facilities has gone on this long. None of the responses have any sources, as far as how bad the locker rooms or facilities are. This thread is grade a garbage. Who is this guy and his wife recruiting free agents to Buffalo, and why does he think he is anyone that a free agent would listen to? If you actually met Eifferts dad, he probably was just saying stuff to be left alone.
  4. Eh... Peterman is like the worst QB ever. As hyperbolic as that sounds, it isn't. It doesn't take much to be much better than Peterman. So he's not really, just like Peterman. It's the back up QB. I get the going .500 point, but what team other than the eagles have had sustained success due to their back up? You're making mountains out of mole hills.
  5. He also brought in... Vontae Benjamin... They've definitely brought in guys who like those above, didn't buy in, and others who didn't perform. They've also hit on a lot of the secondary additions. My approval rating would be right at 50%. I don't approve or disapprove yet. He's pretty average to this point. Has done some great work, but also been pretty bad in some areas.
  6. At this point, no. I'd love for him to be, but Cowart was unreal.
  7. They didn't let Russell throw enough. It was always on 3rd and long or 4th down they finally put the ball in his hands. They didn't treat him like the QB he is. He has Baldwin, Lockett, decent pass catching RBs, and his legs. Let him throw the ball or improvise, it was awful to watch.
  8. Daks not that good in my opinion. If Allen turns into Dak, we're gonna go through the BS the dolphins went through with Tannehill. Allen has to be better, especially considering what was given up for him. And the commitment that has been given and will be.
  9. You can thank me for your welfare, I mean social security check. What?
  10. If I remember the clip I dont think Kelly really looked like he was trying to chuck it out of the stadium. I think it was a celebratory toss. It's apples to oranges, and I'm really not sure if Allen could do it. But if I remember the game Kelly did it, he wound up but it wasn't an attempt to get it out the stadium.
  11. No, not really. You're projecting whatever your own issues are which I'm not really interesting in discussing because you've yet to make an accurate assessment of the situation. Von Miller is a public figure. People talk about him all the time. His job is in the public eye. She came across something she could take for her son being blamed as the reasons for the Broncos short comings publically and responded in haste. It's like when Kawhi Leonard's mom gets into a yelling match with a fan in San Antonio in which a lot of anger was being directed at her son by 20,000 people. He's playing a game, is he supposed to stop playing and go tell his mom, "Hey, don't do that". It's more of a mom or parent feeling like they are protecting their kid than any other kind of millenial thing. I don't think it's a good look, but it's just people protecting family. It's not a mom walking into a random 9-5 beating a boss because she didnt like the yearly review her son got. Get outta here with that junk. It's a comment on Twitter. You're making more of this than I think Elway is. This stuff happens. It'll all be smoothed over. You're behaving more so like the sensitive one.
  12. I'm not sure what you can even expect from a WR coach with that crap he was handed. Outside of having a prior relationship with McDermott or Dabol, why would anyone want the job? I disagree. That's basic. I think that's more a product of lack of talent and the balls getting there quicker than they expect.
  13. That's a weird way of viewing it.
  14. Great story. I remember after the fight against Jacksonville him running all over the place interacting with the crowd, and I'm like who is this dude? He was in the endzone with his helmet off yelling at people to get up and get loud. Then I saw his comments before and after the Miami game. I'm a fan. Love his attitude, I hope he's around here for awhile and can grow into a role. He's negotiating contracts while that ass who cut him is looking for a job. He has been vindicated, I'm happy for him.
  15. You realize what you are saying is absolutely ridiculous. I hope you're trolling. Funny thing is you can find people who agree with you. You are basically rooting for mediocrity. People who are good at their job get paid, that root of all evil stuff has nothing to do with Antonio Brown.
  16. Where did you see that reported about Jerry Hughes? I'm honestly curious. Even so, he pulled the trigger on the trade and won it. Why are we even having this debate anymore. The guy got fired. The people who didnt like them got what they wanted. Let's move on already. I do think Beane talking about 50 mil in dead cap and you have to do something about it is ridiculous though. They made the decisions to have that dead cap money. They created it. And saying you have to do something about dead cap is ridiculous because you cant do anything about it, hence dead cap. I really dont mind McDermott or Beane that much until they open their mouths. Then the scent of arrogance pours over the room.
  17. I mean almost none of this is accurate. 1) He wanted EJ to start because Tyrod was hurt, and didnt want the contract to become guaranteed because of an injury. The Pegulas agreed with him, and Rex was fired for it. Which ties into your point 6. Which is also some alternative form of history. Whaley didn't want Rex. This getting married quote I'm quite sure you have confused with what Spiller said in several interviews when he wanted an extension. 2) Source it. 3) You don't even have a point and you know it, but it's just something to complain about. 4) Pretty sure he's going to be paid because of restructuring. The concept he executed to get Clay wasn't a bad idea at all. However, Clay just hasn't held up. The player is bad, the tactics were not. 5) That was Beane and McDermotts decision. I refuted 6 already, for someone who posts on a teams messageboard your lack of knowledge on them is pretty surprising. I think I can find a way where the Clay signing was bad, but you even botched that point. Oh yea, and they were eliminated from the playoffs in 2016 when EJ started. You've constructed your own reality completely.
  18. I'm trading poyer or cutting him to get brown. Poyer and his girl come across as immature.
  19. Well the issue with all of this, especially the post I quoted. He doesn't or didn't have a clue what happened and jumped on the first opportunity to trash him. People don't like athletes doing things in a way that's different from how they claim they'd behave if they were in their shoes. It's annoying. They act like these guys were just birthed out as the best receiver in the world and don't deserve what they get. Brown got to where he is because of himself.
  20. You're certainly projecting a lot here. And if he acts happy and content, the same lot is criticizing him for mailing it in after he gets paid.
  21. You're not even worth it. Everything you've said has been wrong in this thread. Id didn't feel like my time... go have another beer.
  22. All you had to do is type Sam Bradford trade to see that what you said was completely wrong. This isnt that hard. What's your social security number? I have a few business ventures I'm interested in.
