One Bills Live was hilarious today.

I feel like you view the message coming out around the Bills like Tiananmen square. It's not that serious brah. You have serious delusions of grandeur. -
I agree it makes me like Beane more. I would have loved it if they pulled it off. The story is muddled, but it seems like they went about it backwards. Wouldn't you request permission to talk to Brown or Drew, get a gauge of his attitude on a potential trade, then figure out terms? Both have positions of weakness if brown says he'll go, all of the sudden his value is restored in Pittsburgh's view. If you get Pittsburgh to agree to the trade, then Brown regains negotiating power. It's really a mess of situation for an outside team. I defended Brown, laughed at the situation, because I hate the Steelers, but I hope now that guy never plays a down again. It's how the league works. You weigh talent vs some character bull####. I don't know if some of you have a bad memory but I remember Chris Kelsay's contract no thanks. It's funny how much you all eat it up. It's probably Russ Brandon's last marketing gift to buffalo.

[Vague Title] The Night's Watch
Ol Dirty B replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh highly questionable... Sometimes I catch that, I listen to his podcast more -
If your safeties are the reason your run defense sucks then you already have a problem. That's how you end up with the 2010 defense. It wasn't good. It's an antiquated philosophy.

Because all that is just a schtick.

[Vague Title] The Night's Watch

In what hour did he say that, I'm only through hour 1. He basically said the Bills don't throw throw to receivers and he can freeze for the rest of his career in Buffalo. He's just as harsh on the dolphins and jets as he is on the Bills in terms of how bad they've been. I'm not surprised that someone who got perturbed over a thread about who should lead the charge that was actually a joke would be so annoyed by laughter. -
Steelers shopping RT Marcus Gilbert

I suppose they didn't, but it was their part of the trade that blew it up in a bad way. Granted he has been doing a lot of that. I just wouldn't want anything to do with them at this point. It doesn't take much to go to AB and know where he's willing to go and not. And not doing what he did with Buffalo. It's on AB but they bear some responsibility. I'm also just a fan. I have the luxury of that. -

Line wasn't good and you just got burned by that franchise. I wouldn't have anything to do with them other than shipping mice with the plague to the fo. -
I think it might show how shrewd they can be. My problems have been with them that they run out talent, or count it out because of character nonsense. I think someone is going to get AB at a good rate in terms of what they give up, salary and cap wise, I don't know. It is good to see them look to get a guy with such a high upside though even amidst all his crap.

I'm not a beane fan, but from.what I've heard he has done his job well. Tried to add an elite player at a good rate, it didnt work out. The only issue is how it leaked out. I don't think that's his fault. It's definitely rosenhaus and brown. And if it went down as bad as it might have with the way it was leaked, then teams are going to take that into consideration when entering negotiations.

What kind of idiocy? They get paid well, but they generate a lot of revenue, they don't have guaranteed contracts. The players get the short end of the stick. Comparing the NFL to the NBA is just not getting it. Players flocking to golden state or the heat with lebron has been happening in the NFL for years. They're two completely different sports. 13 man rosters, 8 man rotation, players playing offense and defense vs a 53, with 22 starters isn't even comparable.
