The problem with blowing it up is do you trust this leadership group to upgrade on both Beane and McDermott who are paired. It can get alot worse it you make the wrong choice..like Eagles firing andy reid and hiring chip Kelly..

I think alot of us are not happy about the coaching tonight but the bigger issue is we've been out drafted if we're going to beat a team with one of the best coaches and probably top 2 offensive coaches the game has ever seen we need to have a talent advantage.. we've spent copious amounts of draft pick on the defence specifically the line and our draft picks just have not performed to expectancy of where they were drafted.. that's on Brandon Beane and McDermott and it's the bigger transgression than the coaching blunders.

Its basically parallels the colts vs patriots era..we are Tony Dungys colts part two...an elite passer combined with a soft zone coverage defence built to bend not break...meanwhile the chiefs are the Patriots an Elite qb built with an aggressive defence that attacks...reid is the offensive vefsion of Belichick and sean is basically dungy great motivator and leader of men but doesnt peform

Officiating has been horrendous across the board this season. I don't know whats going on if we need more replay involvement or w.e but these blown calls are atrocious..two absolutely phantom blown calls against the bills yesterday..and you could argue it was pi on the ball to Coleman. You're seeing games decided by horrific officiating..needs to change.

This has always been Josh Allen's weakness..he missed diggs deep wide open numerous times last season..outside of I guess 2020? I dont have the actual data just from memory he has overthrown numerous deep would be touchdowns. Oddly enough he throws them pretty accurately in the playoffs when there is more pressure..like the clutch bomb to davis vs chiefs..and the perfect pass to diggs he dropped last year...

For as strong as Josh's arm is one thing hes always struggled with is deep ball accuracy he can hit them but not as consistent as you would like ... most of the time he doesn't put enough air then he overcompensates and puts too much air

If this is how our defence is gonna play we have no shot. There's been wide open cardinals on every play.

Josh's playoff numbers are historical it's a team game..he has 21 tds and 4 int in his playoff careers ..for reference Roethlisberger had 36 tds 28int peyton 40-25.. he's a historic level qb the only reason he hasn't won a superbowl is the defence. People forget how the pats defence carried brady at the beggining of his career

Yeah that is Josh's one weakness in his game. It's Just his playstyle and mentality not sure it will ever change. Peyton Manning was like that compared to Brady . He always wanted the chunk play while Brady wud dink and dunk u to death. Favre was like that..Prime Roethlisberger did the run around waiting for big plays like josh frequently rather than take check downs.

It's Josh overcompensating for his arm strength most likely..in the his first few years Allen would at times over throw ( not enough arc) john brown and diggs the first season he came to Buffalo so he tends to leave them a bit shorter at times. But in alot of these cases its just him missing because hes unable to step in due to pressure

Im clearly refering to the slang usage of yips from a sporting perspective I've already mentioned that..not the medical definition...its not rocket science lol And again I'm not talking about what wen we saw daboll confront Josh on TV.. I'm talking about what I've read about happening behind the scenes there's no guarantees its all true but consensus was daboll and him had a special relationship and he really knew how to hold Josh accountable. Its speculative like anything else but Josh doesn't seem to be learning from his careless mistakes..his TD to interception ratio since the 2nd half of last year is extremely worrisome .

Yips in sports term literally means anxiousness affecting performance usually used in golf lingo.. nothing to do with performance arts either..no one is talking about public displays of anger just that accountability seems to be lacking .

Allen has regressed since the " covid lockdown year" it's a combination of mental and physical...the lack of crowds meant psychologically he was able to zone out and play within structure without the " yips" he struggles with when he gets hyped up.. and daboll wud get on him I don't see anyone holding him accountable now other than diggs and that's not good for the team . Dorsey isn't a good o.c but Josh continually bypasses checkdowbs and underneath routes to go for homerun balls similar to late career Favre.

Josh has been in the league too long to be making these type of mistakes...if a defender makes a great play sure..but hes misreading coverages and forcing throws that arent there smh.

The defence we run here in buffalo definitely is less aggresive than what McDermott has run when he was a d coordinator. Fraziers background is in strictly Tampa 2 and it shows..we run predominantly cover 3 or cover 2 zone looks oit of the nickel formation

Frazier is a huge part of the issue. But its running the scheme with lack of dline pressure..we predominantly run cover 3 zone concepts out of nickel formations we've run that far more than any team in the NFL since McDermott got here..the pressure has to come from the d lineman in that scheme we just haven't got it remotely consistently .

The bigger issue is Beane and McDermott missing on a majority of our defensive draft picks.. The Eagles actually play defense similarly to us they dont blitz often difference being their d line is ferocious and get pressure with the front 4 . Beane has drafted so many d lineman with barely anything to show for it

Yeah im aware he learned under jim johnson but his scheme is very different. His defense atleast since Carolina has been a cover 3 zone based system with pressure expected to come from the front 4 ..fraziers background is in Tampa 2 ..they run nickel based zone defences more than any team in the nfl since they've been here.

Fraziers/ McDermott's philosophy has been an issue. They design the defense around limiting big plays..we blitz far less than other teams..this worked fairly effectively when the entire defense was relatively healthy and tre was able to provide upper level coverage along with both safeties playing at an elite level..the scheme obviously needs to be tweaked when we can't even keep teams in front of us anymore . We don't get consistent pressure and barely beat the dolphins with their backup QB tyreek and waddle torched us in every matchup

Im seeing disturbing similarities to the 2000s Colts and that's not a great thing. Conservative coach running a zone based scheme that get's gashed in the playoffs..all time great qb that the team is super over reliant on . Getting dominated at the line of scrimmage. In don't know if coach is the right man for the Job he's done alot and he will always be revered in this city but we just havent gotten it done defensively which is supposed to be his area of strength and we are squandering the best QB in franchise history if no changes are made .

The tackling probably goes hand in hand with the way they play defense . The bills run one of the most conservative defensive schemes in the league. Just watch the way the 49ers aggresively fly to the ball we seem to always be relying on milano or edmunds to make the perfect tackle when they miss its bye bye
