  1. Dorsey still has no clue what he is going to do yet because it depends on what he's offered and by what team. They have serious draft capital and cap room for free agents, and they hold all the cards. Most of them anyway. i'm pumped for Cleveland. Wait til we both get real qb's, imagine a Bills Browns AFC title game in 2019.
  2. and how many defensive holding calls? there were four major ones in Pitt, NE.
  3. I see them taking Saquon Barkley if they stay put, and maybe even if they slide back a few spots. He and Luck and TY would be a serious force. Barkley might be better than Fournette and Zeke, and look what those dudes did for their teams as rookies
  4. i told Peterman's nephew to stop posting from the school bus
  5. We obviously will have another qb or two to compete with Peterman in camp. Don't say there are 3 elites this year and none next year, you have no clue and neither does any NFL GM. The fact is if we knew one guy would be elite we'd trade both first round picks this year and our next 5 first round picks to get the guy. (what wouldn't you give up for the next Rogers or Brees?) i like Sal's proposal to trade up to 12 with Cinci and get our qb there. Mayfield will likely be there, as will a lot of other good prospects.
  6. Both sides agree Richie never used the N word, so what else is there? Seriously, these guys are NFL gladiators slugging it out in the worlds toughest trenches. His feelings were hurt by words? Dude needs to grow a pair or maybe try out for tennis or golf tour.
  7. good point. although in the Falcs case they only had to Not Lose yards once they got to the patriots 21 yard line up a touchdown deep into the 4th quarter. In marrone's case they still had to gain yards and move the chains. The other major fault was the ridiculous clutching and grabbing by the Jags Dbacks, it almost cost them the Pitt game in penalties, and it did cost them the Pats game. They mauled the receivers every play and it cost them massive chunks of yardage. Poor coaching.
  8. Honestly after watching Corey Davis, Mike Williams and John Ross all go in the top 10 and never make a single game changing play all year for each of their teams, I'm sour on burning high picks for wideouts, even with the sorry state of our WR roster. We need QB, DT, and LB so bad, guys that are affecting every play on the field in most cases.
  9. Jags dBacks are maulers. They play too handsy and it costs them massive chunks of yardage. They should have lost to Pitt because of it, and it cost them the game yesterday. Just unnecessary in most cases, Brady isn't super accurate anymore and they still mauled the receivers. Poor coaching.
  10. Donating to Church. Isnt that what good Christians do anyway?
  11. Darby still had life on his rookie contract, weird move. Philly without Wentz is boring to me. Hope they win tho.
  12. If you could get a franchise qb, like say Brees or Rodgers, you'd trade your next 10 first rounders for them. Seriously. Personally I think Jimmy G's star is going to fade when DC's start getting film on the guy and learn his tendencies. But I'd give up two 1st rounders for the guy, I think any team would, even Belichick if Kraft the Mullet would let him.
  13. Nice post. I'd love to see a factor in there that took into consideration pass rush (time allowed before throw, quality of pocket/protection) correlated with receiver separation and whether or not the qb had a clear lane to see or were they looking over linemen when they made the throws. Yeah, yeah I know, it's asking a lot, but there's a lot at stake. Either way Lualetta was a surprise from what I knew about him previously. Impressive metrics-- based off this analysis anyway.
  14. Yes. One thing about drafting in the early 20's is there are people there who you never thought would fall. Happened last year with guys like Peppers, Ramczyk, TreD etc. Recently QB's like Derek Carr, Bridgewater, Garoppolo fell into the position where you could easily have grabbed them in the 20's, or traded back a dozen spots and still get them. Obviously keep your options open, but there is no Andrew Luck in this draft, and I hate to see us burn two first rounders to get someone we really aren't sure of to begin with. I love the wheeling and dealing for fun on draft day, but I'd love to see us stay put and hammer two solid back to back players on day one right at 21, 22.
  15. my worry is that Zay isn't very good at separation. aside from his drops, we burned a high pick on this kid and from what I saw he struggled to get open. He'll train his butt off though, that we know, so hopefully next year he can learn better technique and improve his playing speed to be a game changer for us.
  16. There are only certain things you can audible to from certain sets. I found it strange that Dennison didn't entrust Tyrod with audibles until the 2nd half of the season. This team fell short in a lot of ways: No hard count to get free plays No Audibles No special teams return threat on punts or kicks No clock management training for our qb's, snapping the ball with 10 and 12 seconds still on the play clock when trying to wind down the game No backup plan for RB's, signing guys off the street AGAIN this year as the season went on. A fast, competent backup to Shady probably wins us Jville game.
  17. Here you go again hammering the Pegula's. They hired Beane and McD who are doing a nice job so far. They're good owners who support the community and team, and don't give in to Goodell and his "we need a new stadium to compete" bullcrap. So your league circles tell you people are chattering that Marrone is the next Parcells? Hahahahahahahahahaha we'll see. He did a very nice turnaround in the Cuse program, but he had next to nothing to do with putting the Jags roster together, except bringing in Marcel and his $54M which MY league circles say they didn't need to begin with. The guy is by no means a proven NFL coach, but I'm rooting for him this Sunday along with the rest of the nation. I'd love to see Jax MInny for the bowl.
  18. Bevell doesn't have a reputation for being a savvy coordinator, we all know his offense. He and Petey should've been canned
  19. true. hard to formulate an opinion on an OC when he didn't really have the tools to run a good offense. also there's value in consistency on offense, keeping the same system into a second year would help new guys like Deonte, Cadet, Dawkins, Peterman etc. Tasker said that the other day, it's a big advantage if you don't have to switch coordinators, which never occurred to me. Rico and McD just had their first season as HC and game callers, they learned a lot I'm sure.
  20. WR's Zay, Deonte, KB and Streater next year. Those guys get open enough. I'm against taking a WR early, too many glaring needs.
  21. I agree that Beane isn't going to move up. There are always players that fall into the 20's that everyone had going top 10. With the exception of Barkley, I see no other game changing sure-thing worth trading up for.
  22. agreed. Showed a lack of confidence in our Oline and turned the game around. Total Pete Carrol move. Outhink yourself and give the game away. Worst play call for Rico this year, and that's saying something. Pussies.
  23. agreed. We need some serious help at Dline and LB, WR and Oline. If we could avoid burning a pick on a QB it would be really sweet.
  24. i'll tell you one thing, they needed some interior radiant heaters in the hallways the day of the Indy game. Everyone was freezing and nowhere to warm up even for a few minutes unless you were in club seating of course, which the majority of the fans aren't. Saw some young kids dangerously cold, girls literally crying in the hallways. Its nice that Pegula is renovating the clubs, but if he experienced the scene during that game he would be embarrassed at how ugly it was. I love the history of the stadium and like that it's old school and not glitzy/casino looking like all the new ones, but she needs some hallway heating for the masses. Concessions employees were freezing too, no pads to stand on, no heaters. Nice compassion Jacobs fat cats. .
  25. you said we can't win without Shady. i say you are wrong. i've watched all their games (sadly enough) because of fantasy guys. they're not that good.
