Chad Kelly is 350 bucks richer...
Da webster guy replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing people dont realize I Kap was in his way out of the league and because of his kneeling idea he's made tens of millions in endorsements. -
The key is to give this kid time. We have four wr's that have proven they can get open, get separation. Our running backs are proven and we'll be adding a nice rookie runner as well this year. We have a very good center, and Dawk is a strong young versatile lineman. We need at least one more Oline stud, preferably two. Good Olines make for a better, well rested defense and improved field position. They also help young qb's have more time to process and react, pass better, which backs up the safeties and gets less 8 man fronts that are tough to run against. Indy was a changed team by ONE dominant guard last year. Changed the whole team.

KR/WR Andre Roberts (Jets) to Bills
Da webster guy replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This joker can fly and picks holes well, sets up his blocks and finds those seams. I cannot believe Jets let him go. Its like releasing your pro bowl kicker-- you're going to pay for it one way or another. -
Kareem "the assaulter" Hunt Jarvis 'Cheapshot' Landry Odell "Me before Team" Beckham and Baker "I have no respect for Hue Jackson because he left the team, even though he was fired and had no choice" Mayfield Combined IQ of about 200 points between all of em. Each one trying to Out Alpha the others, butting heads when things go wrong. Welcome to the Cowboys of the East. Browns were my second team but honestly I just changed my profiles so I don't get their news feeds any more. OBJ was the last straw. Giants fans must be pumped they dumped a cancer who was all over the headlines every day, even when he wasn't playing the cameras were glued on him all game, and they picked up serious draft capital in the meantime. In the end they'll have paid over $30M for OBJ's last 10 games but it's gotta feel great to turn the page on that clown.

Dawk and Shady will be the only offensive starters from opening day 2018 to be starting next year.

What are the Colts doing?
Da webster guy replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There aren't a lot of stars in free agency that have good character that fit the Reich mold. Frankly I thought Beasley and Landon Collins were the top two Kyle Williams type guys in this free agency that Indy should have acquired. Funchess for $11M is laughable. Their fans have to be groaning. -
Six new starters on offense
Da webster guy replied to buffaloaggie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Croom will beat out Kroft in camp, and he's stronger, heavier and faster. Showed some good blocking, Josh trusts him. Kroft has a red zone knack so they'll both be active, but Kroft basically missed the entire season last year. McD isn't going to care who gets paid more, he's starting the guy who earns it. -
WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills
Da webster guy replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmmm. Zay had an excellent season with Josh, not always from the slot, but..... I don't know what to think about this. My prediction that we are going Defense in the first, then Risner in the 2nd, then Best Trench Player on either side is coming true. -
WR John Brown (Ravens) to the Bills
Da webster guy replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup. He's a lot like Goodwin but hopefully a little more durable. Has had his share of injuries but also knocked out a 1000 yard season with Zona. The guy can play for sure, I picked him up in fantasy last year and watched him for a few games. Isn't just a go route guy, had a great hitch thing going with Flacco. If you're playing a cover 2 defense and you put him and foster opposite watch the seams open down the middle. CB's can't run with either one of these dudes. Even though he's little, to me he's very impressive at contested catches, which Goody never was. He'll love Josh's ball , Flacco throws a rocket when he needs to. -
The stupidity of Free Agency summed up in one deal.
Da webster guy replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like Buddy Nix always said, everyone overpays in free agency. There are no deals to be had. I'm glad we got our guy at C. Now lets get our LT in the first and have him compete with Dawk, loser goes to the right side or in Dawk's place guard (where he was projected to play all along by most scouts) -
C Mitch Morse (Chiefs) to the Bills
Da webster guy replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not worried about the guy's health. Concussions get the royal lawyer treatment these days, and he came back and played fine. You don't see center's leaving football because of concussions like you do running backs, LB's, etc. Foot injury isn't a recurring type. Now we have an athletic center, let's draft an LT in the first to compete with Dawk in camp. Loser goes to RT or in Dawk's case he plays guard which is his body type anyway. -
Imagine this team with an elite te
Da webster guy replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
only certain offenses are designed to get big production out of the TE's. Indy, Philly, KC, NE etc. I don't think we're one of them, and I don't see us picking a TE high for that reason. I think Croom will be our starting TE next year and do fine. Give me the killer Oline, a young runner who can catch passes and learn from Shady, and one more WR we will be set. -
Exact same size and speed as Croom, who flashed some nice receiving plays this year including some outstanding blocks singled up against edge rushers. I will keep an eye on this guy Warring, but I'm predicting Croom emerges as a very good TE this year. He can add 5-8 lbs, keep improving his run blocking and be a pro bowl player (flame away, but I had the same feeling with Croom as I did for Freddy Jax when we first got him on the field, you can see the dude belongs). If they sign the blocking TE from New England I predict they'll go for a late round sleeper type guy like a Warring. I don't see them going for Irv, Fant, Hock or burning a high pick on a TE.
-
Definitely a reasonable Oline, I love that scanario. I don't think the Bills board will have Hockenson ahead of some of these defensive studs though. Even in a trade down I don't see Beaner as the type of GM that drafts a TE in the first. The may sound weird but I think Croom is going to blossom this year. He's 6'5' 250, can get open, runs a 4.69 40, good hands, and had some impressive blocking singled up on edge guys this past season. I do see them going Risner in the 2nd. Praying for a trade down so we truly go BPA.

Article for those obsessing about Metcalf
Da webster guy replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too juiced up to even tell what his real NFL body will be like. Maybin 2.0 I think there is zero chance we take this guy. I have an unfounded hunch he's got the Sammy disease, gonna live on the injury reports. Steroids beat up your ligaments, tendons, and joints. I know he's technically clean now, but what damage has he done already. A.J. Brown or Parris in the 2nd. I saw Astro's catch rate breakdown and cried a little to see Hakeem Butler at less than 50%. Im giving up on him. -
How can we not be all in on Metcalf now?
Da webster guy replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybin 2.0 When the juice wears off we'll see what he is. Sorry but i dont trust the combine results with players who have obviously bulked up with steroids. -
Report: Bengals looking to trade WR John Ross
Da webster guy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was def overdrafted but if he were thrown into this year's WR heavy draft, i'd think Ross would go somewhere in 3rd round. Not sure about work ethic, motivation, brains, personality etc. That weighs huge with our team. -
Center Defensive depth Thats all we are getting in FA because thats all we will need. When Beaner trades back we will get a 2nd and a 3rd. Thats two per round 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. A dozen picks in all. This year's free agent class is lame compared to the exceptional college talent pool this draft.
-
I see your point, and I think there is zero chance Beane would burn a first rounder on any TE, but the good ones like Kelce, Kittle, Ertz can really open up an offense. I think Croom is for real next season, and hope we burn most of our picks on the big boys in the trenches on either side of the ball.

Bean at his Witchery, Again!
Da webster guy replied to ROCBillsBeliever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was a good trade, although we burned that pick to move up and grab Tremaine instead of staying put and uh...maybe drafting LB Rashaan Evans and then using the Cleveland pick on an Olineman or something. Not saying it was a bad move, only that it sort of reveals that drafting for need is a part of Beane's history.
