  1. In case you were affected by Directv CBS blackout, those fools finally settled the dispute and CBS is back on now, so you can see the Bills as you normally would. Chicarito I forgot you can change broadcast region with the Hulu live. That's a nice feature.
  2. according to the Jets posters, who seem to have forgotten we blew them out by 31 points the last time we were in the Meadowlands and who only won 4 games last year, our total rushing attack will get zero net yards because they have Mosley and QW now.
  3. Yeah it's a ***** job for a parent. He's already been gone a lot I'm sure that's why he's only doing some part time stuff now. I always saw him as an LSU Dline coach back home.
  4. Especially when they have very good QB and WR1 that they need to re-sign. Cowboys move a lot like the Redskins sometimes. Head scratching. If I were Jerry I'd have let my offer from a month ago stand and see what the new kid Pollard can do for me. With a great line and a passing attack to keep the D honest, there are lots of runners that can produce big numbers.
  5. Hmmm. I think Mosley and Adams are the best safety/LB duo in the league with regard to run stopping. We can't be slamming Gore and Motor into an 8 man box all day. QW vs Mitch Morse and our interior line will be fun to watch. QW hasn't been outstanding yet in preseason. Expect less carries for loss with Gore than Shady.
  6. Shady was really our best player in 2017 and added a lot of excitement to that team.
  7. Get a firestick, theyre pretty cheap. Download the local channel apps like CBS All Access and you can stream local channels. The sports events are live. I watched the last 2 Bills games this way. The apps may charge you 5 or 6 bucks a month, be sure to call DTV retention dept and tell them you want a credit for $20 a month to offset this cost.
  8. He runs so fast, are we sure Tyree can't convert to TE?
  9. I know. Feel like an agent convinced him he was gonna go middle rounds and his stock was pretty high from stacking up the wins at UB last year. Its gonna be killing him watching the Bulls and Bills play without him. Such a great kid.
  10. Great moment for Tyree and Sills. Both guys really disappointed on draft day, found their way here, and ended their preseason at home with a game winning TD in the final seconds of the game. Both the throw and the catch were not easy either. That thing was sizzling. Those two guys will always be friends and are probably laughing over a beer about that play right now.
  11. Josh has his share of off target missiles, seeing Duke handle a few of them might help his cause. Think of our WR's if John Brown and Bease are injured. They're little dudes, it's likely one or both will miss time this year. Let's say they both do at the same time, I think Zay would go back to slot, Foster/Roberts and McKenzie would be next up. Zay caught 7 TD's last year, he's gonna be needed. I think they will go McKenzie and put Duke on PS.
  12. in harm's way, what the hell are you talking about? it was a simple question about how strict they are with age. They're very flexible with that stuff especially during preseason w families, it won't be an issue. have fun !
  13. He's definitely cocky and has strong opinions. I saw an interview with him slamming the ending of Game of Thrones and how "everyone had a better story than Bran...." and he says it like he knows whats right and the writers suck blah blah. Not my kind of guy, but still the most fun QB to watch run an offense. Not many teams get back to back hall of famers at QB, green bay lucked out.
  14. 100% agree. Red pops on the field, in the stands, everywhere. Red endzones, helmets etc. The new blue endzones look sweet, but it's....blue. And for those of you that are superstitious we had red endzones during our superbowl years. My two dumb ideas are 1. Put white stripes around the ball like in college. 80,000 fans watching the football's every move, some from VERY far away, and we make the thing 100% Mud Brown. A camo color that doesn't reflect light and is hard to see. The only reason it's that color is because that's the natural color of leather, not because it's the RIGHT color. Personally I'd make the thing an entirely new color but at least keep the college white on the freaking ball. Duh. 2. Use sideline lasers to measure the goddamn first downs. It will take 1 second to measure, be far more accurate and move the game along considerably faster. Can you believe when we need to measure something precisely on the field we literally have two old guys with CHAINS tied to sticks hobble out on the field and try to determine if the ball went 10 yards. They might as well be on horseback wearing armor or something. A bright red laser line on the field will either be touching the ball or it won't be. The end. If you watched the end of the Detroit preseason game you saw how much more time this new pass interference challenge call is going to make games. It's a joke. If a coach has a challenge at the end of the half or the game, even if it's remotely close they're just taking a flyer because they have nothing to lose. The NFL gets another round of commercials and the fans have to sit there and watch a replay for something the refs didn't call in the first place and the coaches just figured "hey why not?" Stuff like the laser measurements are a way to shorten the game from these extra silly reviews coming our way this season.
  15. Yeah, I felt like he might have been too tall and thin to take on NFL linemen and in the middle and would have been better as an outside LB. He had some games where he didn't seem stout enough in middle, that New England game where we gave up 300 rushing yards comes to mind. He didn't have any experience playing the Mike LB in school and I was thinking how he just seemed better fit to be in space as a weakside LB, a natural fit for him. Need to be fast, good at coverage and many times you're chasing the play from the backside which he's great at. He sure seems comfortable in there now though. The QB of the defense, just had his first legal beer a few months ago. Nice job to the Cover 1 dude who put this vid together and great work Tremaine.... keep it going man! We have Saquon, Leveon Bell and Mixon first three games of the year. Assuming Bell is any good still, that's 3 ninja running backs in a row, the kid needs to be poppin out there.
  16. We wouldn't know because the coaches seem afraid to let Wade play special teams. Puzzling to me.
  17. If an interior D lineman is doubled his job is to hold his ground and slide in the direction of the play on a run, or contain/occupy a passing lane to disrupt timing. Once in awhile they can split and penetrate but this isn't college ball, they're the best in the world. Don't worry about big Ed yet. He's got a long way to go before he's going to be a star, but he sure looks like he has great instincts, power and hustle to me.
  18. hopefully long enough for me to win my 1st half bet Bills giving 3 points. eeeeeasy money.
  19. return kicks and play special teams. unfortunately for Wade we have one of the best return guys in the league. either way i would be giving this guy all the returns and a ton of RB reps in these next two meaningless games. roster spots are precious. every team wishes they had 60 instead of 53 right now. if we don't give him a spot, it's probably gonna be Andy Reid and his staff that grab him or Indy. i just have a feeling....
  20. Allen has played with New England since his rookie year of 2013, is coming off a 2018 season averaging 45.1 yards per 64 punts, which was right along with his solid career average of 45.3 yards a punt. In 409 career punts, Allen only had two punts blocked. Seems like our punters are inconsistent and we still don't know if we have the right one starting. Would it make sense to bring this cat in? Not feeling good about our kicking or punting game at all this year. Still amazed at how pro teams seem to ignore such a clutch position on draft days. Justin Tucker best kicker in the game, undrafted, got the Ravens in the playoffs last year. If Browns had an average FG kicker last year they make the playoffs instead. Hauschka got us in the playoffs with his bombs two years ago, won us two games with 50+ yarders in the clutch. My point is if we can upgrade either spot we oughta do so. Plenty of cap room for some short term deals here.
  21. I'm under the impression that no preseason live reps and not much of a passing attack to keep the defense honest means a long opening day for any running back slamming into an 8 man box all day. His best play is the screen pass, and our LB's at full strength are gonna eat him up. 55 yards on the ground, 40 yards receiving. Bills win 23-13
  22. Three run stuffing animals in the middle of the field S Adams, CJ Mosley and Quinnen Williams. Not saying this isn't a significant loss, and maybe QW has a way to go, but Mosley and Adams are exceptional players. That being said, F*ck the Jets, lets bring the heat and smash em so hard their disloyal fan base will be booing them off the field at halftime
  23. Well, his first 5 games in the NFL with a rookie qb and not much of a run game or pass protection and the guy posts numbers that would put him around 1250 yards on a full year? That's when you invest in a guy, not give up on him. Remember how durable little guys are in the NFL, and our 1 and 2 receivers are little guys. We need big fast strong dudes like RF.
  24. I guarantee he's a lot less top heavy now that he's getting tested. There's a big window between the end of college football a rookie's first PED test. Just ask Aaron Maybin. You can juice away (assuming you use the right anabolic or hgh). I think Maybins weight loss was around 30lbs when he had to go natural. Metcalf is probably quite a bit smaller now, might help his chances to stay healthy.
  25. Thanks for not clicking on it. I won't either. It's the only way to make that old dog with fleas and rabies finally wander off for good.
