Yeah that and it's just a higher profile game with KC getting whipped. Those awards seem so cheesy anyway, such a popularity contest. If real football analysts dug deep enough, you could have a front 7 defender with zero sacks and just a handful of tackles being the true MVP of the week. Look at Ed's stats vs his contributions as an example.

Cover1 film room - Bills vs Titans
Da webster guy replied to MtlBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The more you watch that game, it's really impressive how well our boys played in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Just wondering, does John Brown have Deondre Hopkins hands or what? He grabs everything. Surprisingly large catch radius for a 5'10 dude. -
That final drive was amazing
Da webster guy replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
and he burned all three defenders on that side. might see that play again only Josh fakes the run and actually hands it off but the defense is expecting bootleg so they don't cover that C gap and its another huge hole for Singletary. -
Shaq Lawson - maybe a keeper?
Da webster guy replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shaq is a 2nd round draft pick that got picked in the 1st and struggled with injuries early on. He's productive and used properly now, and has been a difference maker. The perfect time to extend a guy like that is soon, where he won't have to worry about injury screwing him the rest of the year and possibly costing him a big dear, but before he hits the open market in the offseason. He's probably a little better than Trent, give the kid an $8M a year deal and keep him. -
Revisiting Beane's most subtly brilliant move as GM
Da webster guy replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll admit I just vaguely remembered his name when he took the field yesterday. How will he grade out after seeing the film ? That RT spot has been a revolving door. -
I'll admit I was wrong about the Duke. I loved that we signed him and his story is inspiring but at camp I just didn't see him getting separation and figured he was getting cut. His TD route was perfect, and he sure got himself open plenty of times today. So glad to see this guy achieving his dream.

Bills 14, Titans 7 Game Balls!!
Da webster guy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah Ed's pro day workout numbers speed n quickness drills were off the charts. He really could play LB. And I notice a lot of his contributions are just from hustle and finishing plays. -

Bills fans table breaking needs to calm down
Da webster guy replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im surprised there hasnt been a paralysis resulting from these table smashes. This looked like a cry for help from this kid, like someone said he goes to the hospital either way whether he hits the table or not. -
Have You Started To Lose Faith in Josh Allen?
Da webster guy replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He can and will curb the hero ball, but he might not have enough accuracy to hit the long throws. He's missed literally every deep pass this year so far, some with wide open dudes. That might come with time, but it worries me more than anything else. He's so talented with elusiveness, pocket presence, character, competitiveness etc. But the last box to check is reasonable accuracy, lets hope he can get his feet set and his throws on the mark more and more as the season rolls on. -
Yeah maybe you're right. But it's hard to evaluate Olinemen until they play against pro competition, and I believe they felt Cody would be a RT. He's got a decent sample size now through the preseason and 4 regular games, and so far he looks physically outmatched on the edge. He'd still be worth a pick, but not as a 2nd round NFL tackle.
-
Too bad Waddle didnt get a chance to compete this season. Would've been nice to have a 3rd option at RT. If there was a redraft today, we'd be passing on Cody and probably be taking Singletary 2nd, then Knox, Darryl etc. Overall it was an impressive draft, but it will be tainted if they insist on playing Ford so much when he needs a year to sit and refine his technique.

Once again Belichick shows why he’s the GOAT.
Da webster guy replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah any active player on the field or McD can call time out, although depending on field position a smart move is to just jump pre snap or call the center to hold the snap for the 5 yd delay penalty. You essentially trade 5 yds instead burning a timeout. Honestly guys its really embarrassing that our special teams coach, veteran DiMarco and our HC all failed to kill that punt pre snap. We could be 4-0 -
Once again Belichick shows why he’s the GOAT.
Da webster guy replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah considering we held their offense to 9 points but they still won the game, I agree it came down to that play. The announcers completely missed everything so nobody realized it until after the game when the move was explained. It was super ballsy because we would not just have converted, it would have been a huge gain for us and a massive momentum shift at home. The frustrating thing is that McD is always preaching fundamentals, and yet this was a high school level play at the most basic level. You have your special teams coach watching, you have your assistant coaches watching, you have your gunner himself watching his coverage man slide off him and head over to edge rush, you have spotters upstairs on the headsets watching, you have the head coach watching, you have the veteran DiMarco realizing he's now got to block two people which he can't obviously do. And yet there was no timeout, there was no reaction by the gunner, the punter never acknowledged the move, DiMarco could have called TO or even intentionally moved presnap and taken the 5 yards. In high school your "Punt Protectors" are supposed to react to any line changes and make adjustment calls for the ends and wings. They can even motion a gunner to follow his man inside. There's plenty of time on the clock, the ball isn't snapped until the protectors call for it. If there's any doubt you take the delay and re-set. But our team just let it happen and nobody was coached properly or aware enough to counter this bold but simple move. McD got the job as a head coach because he's a great person and a great leader, but he definitely has some loose ends as a game technician at this point in his career. If that play cost us the game, it could have cost us a home playoff game down the road. That's probably a stretch, it's a long season, but.... gotta tip your hat to the smug shrew for that call. He knew his offense was going to struggle. Dude has some cajones. -
Bill Belichick Defends Jones Hit on Josh Allen!
Da webster guy replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, the refs saw it as an illegal hit and they were right. The hit resulted in a concussed QB that had to leave the game. Those are the facts. Nobody will ever know Jones intent, but he went higher than he needed to go. It would have been natural to hit him in the middle of the body, he went high. Josh was a runner, trying to get the first down, it wasn't a late hit, it was just an illegal one. Not surprised Bill is having trouble with whats legal or not. -
Week 5: Bills (+2.5) at Titans
Da webster guy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They don't call him "Carcass Mariota" for nothing.... Tenn is a streaky team. Mariota still reminds me of his draft buddy Jameis-- as inconsistent as a player can possibly be from week to week. From what I saw yesterday, we fixed our issues with gap control vs the run game, and we'll need that same thing against Henry, but he's the kind of guy we can shut down. I think Singletary and Josh should focus on the home game vs Miami after the bye week. Get 100% healthy and ready for business, meanwhile let Barkley practice this week, see how Foster, McKenzie and Duke compete vs Zay, get that RT spot under control, and get busy with the gameplan for Sunday. -
Say Singletary plays and Edelman doesn't...
Da webster guy replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah i love the Motor, and everyone's enthusiasm. But the kid has a whopping 10 NFL carries in his career, and half of those he had huge holes to run through. It's the Christian Wade fever all over again with this guy. I hope he plays, but Frank still looks fast and strong out there. -
Bills QB Josh Allen becoming a must-watch player
Da webster guy replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Baltimore scored 49 on Miami and it could have been more if they hadn't let up in the 4th. Doesn't mean they're great. -
Bills featured on NFL Matchup
Da webster guy replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McD and Frasier know how to play these guys. Can't hurt to see what worked for Wade and his Rams crew in the superbowl. Pats offense was 3 and out all game until the end. -
Jerry Hughes versus who for the Patriots?
Da webster guy replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is significant but remember Brady is a quick release guy. He's not a scrambler and he doesn't throw it up for grabs. Not to say Jerry won't get hurries and pressures, but if you have 2 seconds or less to get there my grandma could pass protect for this guy. -
Major conundrum for the game on Sunday
Da webster guy replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
PiNE tree sap Some people cant get enough hops. Had a sip of my buddies triple hopped beer it tasted like pine sol and a ganja bud thrown into a blender. Unreal. It was originally used as a preservative for beer before refrigeration because it inhibits bacterial growth. Ya know....like Pine Sol -
Bills sign WR Jordan Veasy to PS
Da webster guy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still think Cam Phillips or Duke had the best camp production and are better suited to contribute if injuries befall our WR's. They already have experience with this offense since OTA's. May just be a stash for next year, see how his attitude and work ethic are on the scout team.
