  1. Hey I went to some of those UB games it was pretty nippy some days.
  2. sounds like a good Cleveland guy or maybe a Cowboy
  3. Hard to believe the tag is up to 18m for receivers. Just a few years ago Whaley dumped Robert Woods because he wanted 7m. He got it elsewhere and knocked out over 3,000 yards in three seasons. In case you forgot he was the guy that went 13 for 172 yds in week 13 and killed my fantasy hopes. im almost over that though.....
  4. Why Matt Barkley of course. He's white so they'll like that an ex Bill But seriously I think Brissett has to be in the convo, his game has grown nicely since he left there.
  5. Tyree Jackson has the perfect measurables to be a standout TE. Speed, strength, big hands/wingspan, knows routes and how to find soft spots in zones, great attitude. Knox only caught like 2 dozen passes in his life and zero TD's when we drafted him, convert Tyree and he can even play 3rd string qb to come in for sneaks.
  6. I share this same view about them being in every game except Philly. The wins and the playoffs were a huge step, but most important for me is that general feel of how we stack up against the other 31 teams, are we bringing it each week and competing at a high level. The ball will bounce the wrong way sometimes, and every NFL team had multiple losses last year, but when you have the building blocks in place and CONSISTENCY in your coaching staff for a bunch of years, the ball tends to bounce a little more in our direction now.
  7. i get frustrated when that kickoff play gets brought up in interviews like this. All the interesting and great things that happened this past season, and they have to ask about some technicality during the Houston game that could have given us the game that we ultimately didn't deserve to win. I'm glad they reversed the call, everyone knew the player was giving himself up. The intent was clear. Move on. This was a better interview for McD with some lighter content. He's normally a pretty robotic interview. Great guy.
  8. Third season, same OC and HC is huge. All the offseason stuff is great but nothing develops young players better than actual snaps and you could see Josh get better as the season went on. Only got smoked by Philly, we were in the other 4 losses til the end Balt, NE and CLE. Very excited for next season and i'll remind everyone who keeps saying how tough our schedule looks, we have no idea how each team is going to be next year. Last offseason teams like the Rams, Dallas, Cleveland, Pitt seemed poised to be solid post season teams and none even sniffed the playoffs. Is it time for training camp yet?
  9. Ed Oliver strip sack on Dak Josh bomb to Brown vs NE, best throw of his career Haus money hitting the 47 yard kick at the end of Houston regulation to send it into OT. Same distance as Norwood kick and the most important kick for the Bills in 20 years.
  10. I agree. Short deals are always in play for teams with big cap space. I'll bet 90% of the replies here are from people that have never seen him play, the guy is a weapon and an elite receiving back. He only has 5 years of work and was a 1st team all pro for Gods sake. Two years ago he caught 5 passes and in 2016 he caught 80 and had 1200+ on the ground. Get a pick or two from the Cards and DJ can do what Shady did for us in his later years but less wear n tear, as the key to this cat is keeping him healthy. 8-10 carries a game 3-5 catches, knows how to block. I hope we do it.
  11. Maybe they switched Jerseys after, she got the Mayfield and he got her Chubb jersey with a "Y" added at the end in masking tape.
  12. If a RB cracks the 5 yard per carry average for the season, that's elite in my book. Better than McCaffrey, Saquon, Ingram, Jacobs, Kamara etc. The kid has great hands too. Gets 1st downs, moves the chains, scores, has elite contact balance, vision and elusiveness. One of the best playmakers in the NFL.
  13. I watched it again. Lot of frustrating plays, but overall we were evenly matched on offense, our D was much better than theirs but we got pinched on a few big gains that killed us. If we face them again we will exact revenge.
  14. The thing about big guys like Josh is that he's going faster than he looks so defenders take poor angles. Gronk made a living out of this. He never looked fast but once a big tall dude loke that gets moving and has a long stiff arm to keep you off him he can kill ya. Also Josh has a great knack for cut back moves on his runs. He's been doing it since he was in HS, and still uses it to this day.
  15. Niners dont have a big name RB, they just had a good stable of backs like we will have next year. Beane's plan is always to fill in via free agency and draft best player that falls. It might be Oline, Dline, LB, corner.
  16. He started missing wide open receivers and short arming stuff as the season went on. He could be an ok starter but like Peyton was when he won the title his last year with a noodle arm. In the last superbowl game he totaled 141 yds, no TD's, fumbled once and threw a pick. He was 39 and it showed. I hope the Pats keep Brady and he sticks em for $30M, but I don't care where he goes, just happy that he declined a lot throughout the year and fizzled in the playoffs.
  17. Obviously the 7 is sweet. What might save you is Chiefs offense going off. If KC goes off you have decent shots at 35 n 45. You aren't getting 1st half wins but you might be there for the monster payout at the end. How much is it?
  18. No clue, but he's a well known rb nationwide with 15k all purpose yards and is still fun to watch. Would be nice to watch him get a screen pass and a few carries.
  19. Money is meaningless to Brady at this point in his life. Do the math: He and his wife net worth over $500m by all accounts. This past year, assuming his investment advice was average, they made roughly $75M in interest alone, forget salaries etc. The difference in getting paid $20M or $30M is roughly $6M after taxes. Essentially what he makes in one month of interest. Would you uproot your entire family, change schools, community, and leave your long time relationships behind to increase your net worth by 1%? If you have $2Mil in the bank thats like moving across the country for $20k. "Hey kids, we're selling the house. Say goodbye to your friends, we've got a shot at $20 thousand. What? Oh no we'll never spend it, but...you know...MoNeY... The guy is an egomaniac competitive freak who still feels he has "something to prove", which i find rather sad for a guy w 6 rings. He's looking for a team that can get him to another superbowl, the money is meaningless.
  20. Never saw the upside of limiting a roster to less than 60. This is a perfect example of why. If KC gets a nice lead and wants to bring in a popular vet like Shady for a few touches they should be able to. 53 isn't enough. It would also help to develop young players, sometimes a blowout happens or guys get hurt and if there were deeper rosters it would benefit everyone.
  21. Google up Demi Lovato anthem durations. Shes sung it a bunch of times in recent years at various events. Best prop bet from research I've done is Kittle on the under 5.5 catches. He had one last game, and I see niners doing a ground and pound, taking a chapter from the Belichick playbook when you play a superior offensive team. And I took under on Mahomes 36 attempts simply because I don't see them getting much time of possession. If course its a total guess and nobody has a clue, although I'd love to do these prop bets w Andy Reid right now. Dude has some serious inside info.
  22. Yeah I see your point, he wasn't a lazy guy and that's probably worse than anything, but I still think its screwing a team over when you misrepresent yourself w steroids. I would probably have done the same thing he did, but I still hate him for it. We really needed a good edge guy, it hurt our team.
  23. Downtown stadium is a lock. Hotels, ameneties etc. Its still not gonna have as many corporate boxes as Roger would like but it'll be sweet. Retractable roofs are awesome now, ours will be state of the art. 3 years to build.
  24. Mine is definitely Aaron Maybin. Did steroids after last testing in college until NFL combine, bulked himself up unnaturally (almost 30 lbs over his drug-free playing weight). Bills fall for the bait n switch and burn an 11th overall pick on the con-man, thinking they're getting an NFL caliber edge guy. Orakpo went 2 picks later. He holds out all of camp, loses tons of weight because he's now getting tested and can't cheat anymore, and sucks. We learn later that he's a naturally skinny guy and can't hold any weight past 225lbs so he can't effectively play in the league as a pass rusher. Scammed. Check out the difference from pre draft to post draft: https://images.app.goo.gl/nbx4X1JRnzdaKsFr7 .
  25. Here we go again, the worst commissioner in any league in any sport, opens his mouth again. When Roger showed up in WNY at Jim Kelly's golf tourney, he overshadowed the entire event and its cause when he blabbed on about how we need a new stadium to make sure the Bills "remain stable here" Reporters jumped all over that and it made national news, him subtly threatening that the team could be moved. Completely unnecessary bullcrap and drama caused directly by him. This was a tourney to raise awareness & money to help children in need in Western NY, and yet all the articles the next day were about dopey Roger and his classless comments. That's my problem with the guy, he's a lawyer geek with a poor sense of how to be a normal human being and relate to people and situations. He sticks out like a sore thumb around warm-hearted genuine people like Pegula, Jim Kelly, Kyle etc. If I were JK I would skip the invite for that Ahole next year and just limit it to cool people. When he moves on I'll bet you see a new commish with more personality and people skills. Its important to the owners too i'll bet. Terry has 1000x the power that Roger has, and he'll do whatever the hell he wants in Buffalo, on his timeframe, when he's ready, on a solution that is best for the Buffalo Bills.
