49ers sign Josh Rosen
Da webster guy replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was with you. Could you imagine if we took Rosen? That would be a pass on Mahomes and Allen within 3 years. Shoot me. -
Allen can throw it 100+ yards, claims Zack Moss
Da webster guy replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not 100 unless he's in Denver with a 30pmh tailwind. 85 yds with zero wind, you'll see in the superbowl. -
NFL.com and Tom Pelissero’s early executive voting
Da webster guy replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wonder how much Josh's bonus is if he wins MVP. Mahomes new contract gives him $1.25M if he wins it. Not sure how the rookie deal works. -
....and he did already interview last year for HC position, which means he would've jumped. Oh well, can't blame the guy, I still hope Terry and Beane give him a major offer and at least go down swinging.

AFC set to dominate NFC for next decade+?
Da webster guy replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I forgot all about that. Has to be one of those records that never get broken. Could you imagine, "Uh hey Marty, we're lookin to make a change....." He must've just laughed at them until he realized they were serious. I agree Watson would be tempting but I feel like they're a few years away with personnel. Weird team because they suck for awhile and then play a solid game (usually when I bet against them.....) -
Diggs first team all-pro chances?
Da webster guy replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I think Diggs is more of a team leader than Tyreek. That has value. Also he's Buffalo Bill, and this is our F*ckin year baby ! -
Well the two advantages over a normal situation is this is his home town and our owner isn't Ralph so I can see Terry approving head coach money for Daboll. It sure seems like he enjoys sitting up in the booth and having the power to drive this killer offensive machine from his headset. Also I wonder what Leslie Frasier would say about the advantages of coordinator over head coach, he's done both, he might say he's happier now than ever.

AFC set to dominate NFC for next decade+?
Da webster guy replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would be great to see Cinci rise. Burrow is the real deal. I hate to say it but I see a Daboll coached Herbert being a nasty combination in the future. If he leaves, which I'm assuming would be for the title and not the money (Terry will offer Dabes head coach money to stay I would think) I can't imagine the guy would go anywhere else considering the Chargers basically have the right players in place already to win 10 games. The other HC vacancies are train wrecks, and Herbert is a freak passer. -
Week 16: Bills at Pats on MNF
Da webster guy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We rested starters in Jets game last year, it makes sense this is a long season. But obviously this game means something to our playoff situation so we care about the W here. Would be nice to get a huge lead and be able to rotate young players in 2nd half. -
Week 17 maybe see Fromm???
Da webster guy replied to ILBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fromm isnt winning a playoff game dude, the poor guy hasnt had a single live rep as a pro, and hasnt even run our starting offense in practice. I guess he could have a longshot if we were home with crowd noise helping our defense and we win a super low scoring game, but vs a playoff team in a quiet stadium it would be ugly. I agree with the earlier poster, give Barkley the work to knock the rust off in case he needs to fill in. This year for Fromm is just a redshirt type classroom season. -
99.9% chance wk. 17 will matter to Bills
Da webster guy replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmmmmm Which is a huge advantage for us. Fresh for playoff opener and longer to gameplan than our opponent -
The last time I cried over the Bills was when we passed on Josh Rosen so........

AFC QB's vs. NFC QB's
Da webster guy replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All four legit qb's in Josh's draft class went to AFC, and I'd say next two best young ones are Burrow and Herbert, also AFC. Yikes. -
This makes sense. For what it's worth I've seen every Denver game this year because of a stupid season long win total bet I did (vegas had the over and under at 7.5 wins i took the over). They finished the season strong last year, Lock won 4 out of 5 of his starts. Lot of good young players added in the past few years Chubb, Jeudy, Hamler, Lock, Fant etc. They recently beat Miami and played KC tough. They were #1 in red zone D etc (maybe still are) but they have a bunch of guys out this week and I'm worried less. Fangio is a great defensive guy but he's not a good game caller at all and plays not to lose (ex. punted at the 50 vs Chiefs with 6 min left on 4th and manageable within one score. Game over) I wouldn't call this a trap game, and with empty stands being on the road isn't a big deal anymore, but I don't think we will blow this team out.

Mike Tomlin over or underrated
Da webster guy replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah its interesting how a franchise QB makes for a heckuva lot of great coaches. Not many HoF coaches that didnt have an elite qb. Maybe Tuna is the only one that comes to mind, the rest all seemed to have top qb's. QB's make everything sink or swim. -
Mike Tomlin on physicality of Bills
Da webster guy replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even little Tre was out there hammering guys like he was a LB -
No they beat em. And did play KC hard. Beat Miami. Lock is really streaky, he had a great last month of 2019 season but that injury this year screwed him up. Hes been back a month now and the team can be dangerous. Melvin and Lindsay run hard, this isnt the Jets we're playing here. Lock reminds me of Josh late in his rookie year, he flashes greatness but the lapses can be ugly.
-
For sure, thats a huge plus. I'd activate Fromm, Hodgins, Duke, Cam Lewis etc. Having a week off for our rookies might help too, they say its hard to adjust to the length of the pro schedule. Also handing the Fins a win on a platter hurts their draft slot next year in every round.

How about some Andre Roberts love.
Da webster guy replied to Food_Pyramid_Wrong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"The way they kind of handled it was a little shady." - Andre Roberts on Jets choosing to let him go. Said anytime you're an All-Pro and they choose to move on it's surprising. Game changing player AND great teammate. Thanks Jets for sucking at everything you do. -
Did D. Williams Make a LOT of $ Tonight?
Da webster guy replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Morse restructures or he goes. Astro says Bills scouting college Centers hard this year. A lot of what happens with Williams is going to be influenced by his play in the post season. If he continues to ball out I can't imagine Beane not throwing him a legit offer.
