I guess diggs is ok lol

People do not understand how much of a week to week league this is. This isn’t the NBA where talent alone gives you 60 wins and a trip to the finals. Football is a very hard sport to be perfect in. Bills got the W that’s all that matters.

Seriously Before tonight I would have been mad if they didn’t cover the spread but after tonight a win is a win. That was the Chargers Super Bowl and we made a lot of stupid turnovers but pulled the game out. We are on to the Patriots!

This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL

There’s this crazy thing called the Internet. Not that hard to figure out how to stream. But yea ***** the greedy NFL #######s. -
It's already time to start getting ready for the Chargers

Backup QB and interim coach. They better be ready to ***** all over this team from the jump. They let this team hang around it could be a problem. -
The "McDermott Handicap" and hopefully a solution

whatever you gotta tell yourself. I cannot beliece we are still in the denial stage of well it's just luck and everything will just magically even out lol. -
The "McDermott Handicap" and hopefully a solution

everyone is happy we got the W but the end of that game was an absolute mess and really not shocking considering Mcdermott teams always find a way to do something stupid. I've never seen a team so consistently be so poor at situational awareness. It's not about winning the game, its' about winning small battles here and there that help build confidence and a winning attitude. I just don't get any sense of confidence with Mcdermott teams. -

I get they won last night but they are something like 9-21 in close games in the past 3 years. That's coaching. And also extreme amounts of poor situational awareness which comes down to preperation and knowing how to finish games. This coach doesn't have it. -
Didn't like that the second half got away from the run game and passing to the Rbs especially Cook but I'm willing to give him until the end of the year. I don't get the hate on that final drive though where we threw to Diggs on first down. That is a catch 99% and is a running play but Diggs dropping it really screwed up the flow at that point. That's on Diggs not Brady.

Diggs fully in the Christmas Spirit

oh I thought he was in the giving spirit because he keeps dropping the ball and helping the other team -
Toney saved us from another Billsy moment…

When a team clutches a win from the jaws of defeat it doesn't instill confidence going forward. this team is no where near as good as it was in 2020, 2021, 2022. Not saying they cannot make a run but this team is mediocre at best. I know the offense is still producing mainly because of Allen, but the second half defense still is a problem. We needed the most ridiculous call, granted it was the correct one from a bonehead on the Chiefs to not blow another double digit lead. Great we won the game but this team has looked like it's lost the war in 2023. I've had this feeling since the Jacksonville game and all the injuries started to pile up. I don't need the Bills to win by 20+ to have confidence in them again but yea when the go ahead TD comes with a minute left is called back because of one of the dumbest misktakes you can make it's very fair to say that's lucky. The opponent beat themselves instead of you going out there and making it obvious that you were the better team. I know everyone thinks that Josh rallies the team and scores a TD with a minute left but the way that second half was going with 0 production out of the WRs and the Chiefs defense playing really well what gives you the confidence that the Bills were getting that done? I personally don't see it. Glad they got the W but this team is just not very good except from our hero Josh Allen. -
I’ve been his biggest fan but he looks checked out. Think the diva bs has finally gone to his head.

I thought for sure he was offside as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if that is what he was made about. -
Allen was not under duress. If he sees him he throws the ball. The reason he had to scramble is because he was locked onto people who weren’t open.

Wow, can’t believe we won on such a ridiculous mental lapse by #19 on KC. That’s how we’ve been losing all season.

Here comes the great McDermott timeout

Just go after Taron Johnson if you are on offense. Everyone knows this.

Cue up the McDermott defensive meltdown

I was very confused as to what was going on with the clock there

Diggs has been down right bad the past several weeks. He has more drops in the last few games than he does as a Bill. Unreal.

The decision that changed all the momentum
Rocbillsfan1 replied to Rocbillsfan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s funny seeing all the negative responses to this take. Yes McDermott made many more obvious errors in this game and others as well. The truth is this was still the biggest momentum swing of the game as the Eagles looked dead in the water and after the moss their offense found a rhythm and boom TD and many more after that. I can see why people wouldn’t blame McDermott for this but I think the topic is still worth discussion. Bass already hit a 48 yarder when they were down. He’s about 60% around 50 yards. Conditions suck, the Eagles had 2 turnovers and 2 3 and outs prior to that. Crazy that people can’t even bring up the discussion of punting and pinning them at the 5 or 10. They could have faked going for it on 4th down if they get 5 yards they could then go for it or kick a closer fg. If not back up 5 yards get a little more room for your punter. Point is they could have tried burying the Eagles there. The Fg even if made wouldn’t have changed the nature of the game(didn’t make it a 3 possesion game). Crazy that people don’t see any potential value of getting a defensive stop getting the ball back and getting fresh downs to try and score with less time. The idea that you always kick the fg I think could be debatable. -
8th late-game defensive meltdown this season

The decision that changed all the momentum
Rocbillsfan1 replied to Rocbillsfan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I haven’t been afraid, I literally just said I turned on him before we even made our first playoff game. This guy has always been a mediocre coach at best. I get why he hasn’t been fired yet but if the Bills don’t make the playoffs they should 100% be looking for a new coach. It almost does feel like he never will be able to make a correct decision because he’s not thinking clearly and has severe PTSD from all the bad decisions he’s already made. Also there’s a bit of luck involved and he clearly has 0 of it. Well he makes it pretty easy since he makes so many bad ones that contribute to losses. That’s been the constant theme throughout his tenure. Just horrible beats with inexplicable decisions. -

McDermott is managing the car though.
