  1. The apologists on wgr have been really bad the past few days. Every conversation starts with well we can’t fire McDermott or beane so where do we start next year lol.
  2. So you’re good with keeping him as long as he admits he sucks? I guess we are still giving out participation trophies for feel good stories. There is no way in hell he should be in contention when he was out coached 3x times by and inferior Miami team, 2x by the jets. Had a complete collapse vs the Vikings and ***** his pants at home in the divisional round. What a joke. He’s not even close to a top 10 coach in the league and I will name them if you really want to be that close minded.
  3. The culture created by Beane and McDermott has produced an attractive destination for free agents No the culture was created by the Pegulas ridding the stink of this org and cleaning house. They sunk lots of money into this franchise and western NY. I could give a ***** about a coach that is only known for clapping a lot.
  4. How many times did he use the word culture? How bout leave the culture stuff to the people that live in western NY. I just want you guys to win and be good at your jobs.
  5. I agree. McKenzie and Davis did not live up to expectations and crowder got hurt. Josh has had weapons in previous years and it doesn’t matter if they come from trades, free agency or draft picks. Now we are kind of forced into drafting at this point unfortunately .
  6. They finally ran out of gas and now the mob wants to burn down One Bills Drive? no they got out coached the entire game. Big difference. And no one wants to tell Josh Allen hey dude stop throwing the ball 30/40 yards down the field in bad conditions when we need some sustained drives.
  7. The answer is it depends. McDermott has made a lot of bone headed decisions. The way you lose your playoff games matters. We know he isn’t the guy so what are we waiting for?
  8. Fire McDermott and bring in an offensive minded coach. Hell I sign about 6 different people at this point 1 being Callahan from Cinci. If you can’t beat them steal them.
  9. He is Tom thibodeau. Defensive coach that brought credibility to the franchise after being a laughing stock for a long time. He had Derek rose like Josh Allen who was the entire offense and had to shoulder all the offensive workload. thibs had a good defensive system and it worked in the regular season but every playoff series he was exposed at being the inferior coach and he refused stubbornly to make adjustments. Derek rose as a result ended up getting hurt because he was asked to do too much. Sound familiar? Josh Allen injured his arm in the pocket this year because the offensive gameplan doesn’t involve getting the ball out of his hands. bulls fans were the same and thought how can we fire the guy that restored order and brought us to the eastern conference finals. eventually it was obvious he was part of the problem and was let go. Guess what thibs never did anything of real importance after that. Same will be for McDermott. He’s not a top coach.
  10. Coaches have been fired for way less. People in western NY are psychologically broken by the drought that are convinced you have to be married to a coach because he got you to the playoffs. Not only that but every year the coaching staff has been a big reason for the loss in the playoffs. He’s the same guy he’s always been. He hasn’t gotten better as evident as this last playoff game. He’s not a top 10 coach, and if you want to win the Super Bowl you need to be open to finding that person. And I guarantee if you can identify that person and there are plenty of options they aren’t turning this job down. Buffalo use to be a place no one wanted to go now you would have to fight people off for not wanting to come here. I thank McDermott for his time here but enough is enough.
  11. Didn’t even bothering reading your boring out of touch lecture about how we are all wrong that McDermott isn’t the guy. How you like that? He’s been bad since he punted in the snow game 6 years ago on 4th and short in a game they had to win. Please god grow a pair and get rid of this coach.
  12. This is McD’s first real test? I don’t even know how this can be a serious post. I guess you missed the other 5 years of the coaching staff having ridiculous game plans and poor in game mgmt. but yea this is the first mistake and real test. I guess with that mind set better give him another 5 year deal.
  13. What in the world are you taking about? We didn’t even attempt to run the ball and the few times we did we had sustained drives that moved down the field. It’s like people don’t Understand that in the playoffs you have to scheme for the team you are plying and yes factor in weather. The bengals committed to running and getting out the ball quick and it worked to perfection. We can perfectly capable of running we just didn’t even try.
  14. That’s because burrow doesn’t run and he had 3 great wrs. Also didn’t seem like the bengals had any problem at all running the ball on Sunday in snowy conditions while the Bills were in nickel formation the entire game. The bengals did the same thing and we refused to use our rbs. Absolutely atrocious game planning.
  15. Get the brooms out, coaching staff all need to go.
  16. Coming in to say I agree. We’ve hit mcdermott’s ceiling. And it’s more important now than ever to pair Allen with an offensive minded coach and get a system going that works for the next 5 years. it’s time to RIP the Bandaid off now that is this rot in the organization. I get everyone loves McDermott and he’s a great guy but it’s time for him to go.
  17. 2 years ago our starters were diggs brown Beasley McKenzie with Davis as #4 and impressing as a rookie. last year we had diggs sanders Beasley Davis. to say we never gave him tools is beyond idiotic. The roster construction failed this year as crowder got hurt and Davis failed under pressure of trying to be #2 and McKenzie severely regressing and not being reliable. I don’t think anyone was seriously questioning our playmakers the past 3 years. As of right now though yea we need to put in work to fix this position.
  18. This is the biggest nothing burger I’ve heard about the Bills in quite some time.
  19. Have seen some stupid comments lately, this might take the cake. Blaming the fans? The crowd was super loud. Guessing you weren't there while we were making noise while the players allowed them to move down the field at will and score possession after possesion? The Bengals fans were cheering because they were whooping our ass on the field.
  20. I voted for getting rid of the whole org but I know that will never happen. That said I'm in the camp of getting an offensive minded head coach and there's some out there including our own Frank Reich. There's also Eric Bieniemy, Shane Steichen, Sean Payton, Brian Callahan etc. I think the Dorsey hate is a bit extreme. If we are keeping Mcdermott there is no point in running off Dorsey, for what? To hire another OC who may just leave again after 1 or 2 years? There are legit criticisms of Dorsey but the problem is he and Josh both seem to be in love with throwing the ball downfield and for that system to work you need a better OL and 1 or 2 more WRS. The Bills don't have the personal to do what he currently wants. I don't know if Dorsey will budge on his system or if the org will go out and do what needs to be done to better help him. If anyone is going to get fired it will be Frazier this year and be the fall guy but I don't think Sean has it in him to do that either so I think odds are no one gets fired. If this is the case I give Sean 1 more year with everyone back and it is Superbowl or bust. If Beane won't fire them all after the season then I give him his walking papers. At the end of the day I don't have a strong feeling that Beane is more devoted to the organization then he is to his buddy.
  21. Yea I think they both come from the same philosophy so the answer is it’s both of theirs.
  22. Without going into too much detail it does seem that McDermott and beane’s relationship is more than just a business one. They are like family and I don’t think they will ever be able to be separated. They both go or no one goes. Getting rid of Frazier doesn’t do much because in the end this is Mcdermott’s defense and Frazier is comfortable within his system. Let’s say McDermott takes over the defense next year is there really going to be any difference? Also with him focusing on the defense more that certainty is not going to help him poor in game mgmt. The Bills org has built a solid foundation and they aren’t laughing stocks anymore but they have a clear ceiling on them and I don’t think there are any easy answers on how this gets fixed. Would love for Sean to hand over the defense and offense to proven guys with a different philosophy but I doubt he has the guts to do it.
  23. Marvin Lewis didn’t have Josh Allen and stephon diggs, what’s mcdermott’s excuse?
  24. I could tell you from being there it was just as scary. Had no idea if he was going to make it or what was going on with him.
