Your “defensive” head coach shouldn’t have his defense embarrassed in all 4 games to the extent they did. It’s called accountability you know something a grown up understands.

I love how you can explain away 4 terrible playoff losses by calling it 2 freaky losses.

Correction it was a great game until the refs ruined it. -

Stefon Diggs - “I watched the game five times”

Ding ding ding. The players know their coaches aren’t elite -
If this coaching staff is inspiring hope for you I’d love whatever you are taking. I’ve seen this train wreck 4 straight times in the playoffs.

In politics we call next years bills team a lame duck year. I for one am not ok with wasting another year. Time to rip the bandaid off and clean house. -
I said this Last Year McDermott lacks the killer instinct.

I mean we can start with his decision to punt in OT in a must win game with 4 minutes left with 4th and 1 at the other team’s 38 yard line in 2017. I’ve had a strong disliking for McDermott since this game. I know he’s done a lot of good since then and I give him some credit but he’s still the same in game terrible decision maker he’s always been. Looking at our 4 playoff loses it’s an embarrassment of terrible decisions made by the coaching staff including McDermott. We talk a lot about our receivers and can they get separation but how bout our coaching staff? They get throughly out coached every time we get into the playoffs and I’m sick of it. -
The biggest overreaction was how bad the DL was for the Bills. Jones on the Chiefs had the fastest sack for the Chiefs last night at about 4 seconds. When Burrow played us he was getting most of his completions out at about 2.5 seconds. You aren't going to get sacks or presssures when the QB is getting the ball out that fast. And how was he getting the ball out so fast? It was bad coaching decisions on the Bills to play zone coverage and routinely be 5 - 10 yards off their receivers. I get that Mcdermott and Frazier's system works for most of the season against inferior talent and coordinators but they basically did the exact opposite of what they were supposed to do in that game. Our coaching sucks and I think that is generally still an under reaction on this board. Mcdermott needs to go. He is going to come up small just like he has in all 4 of his playoff loses with Josh Allen as his QB. Just inexcusable that you give up 19 second half points to Houston. Give up around 40+ both times to the Chiefs and allow Burrow with no offensive line to come into Buffalo in the winter and carve you up. I'm so sick of his inexcusable failure at this point.

It’s obvious what ails the Bills, they’re softer than custard.

And their defense has choked under all 4 of Allen’s losses because Sean doesn’t gameplan he just runs the same ***** over and over. -
Every Bills fan needs to be watching this game closely. It’s so maddening at how bad our gameplan was on both sides of the ball. All 4 games we lost in the playoffs with Allen the defense absolutely choked because of the gameplan not the players. You can’t tell me the Bills didn’t have any talent on the defensive side the last 4 years. And McDermott is supposed to be a defensive guy lol. The guy runs a system that works for most of the regular season which is good enough to win games but then he doesn’t gameplan for the teams we are playing in the playoffs.

For one day, you are the Boss: what you do ?

I’d fire McDermott and bring in an offensive minded coach like Callahan from Cincinnati. There’s a few others out there I’d go after. -
Somewhat agree. I think we were still good enough to beat Cincinnati if we had daboll calling the game but it’s also obvious Davis is not a consistent #2 on the outside. Love having him as a 3rd or 4th option though like he was last year.

Not after what beane said about brown in his review. I hate to say it but yea we are kind of screwed on the DL now that Miller got a bunch of money and the Bills have missed on 2 high picks basham and Epanesa. This is the problem when you draft for need and don’t know how to evaluate offensive talent. This might actually be the year a DL who is actually good is available and it also happens to be a need. In past years it just seemed like they wanted to stack young DLs because we were all set on offense and may have missed a lot of great opportunities to pick the best player that may have been on offense. -
Frank Reich named new Head Coach of Panthers
Rocbillsfan1 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sweet now that he’s in Carolina can we trade for him? -
Yea terrible take OP. It takes 1 year just to come back from the injury and usually another 6-12 months to look like normal again. It’s why I have little faith that Von Miller is going to be useful next year.

Do you still trust the defense at all?
Rocbillsfan1 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would I trust the defense if I don’t even trust the coach(McDermott) -
That coaching regime should have died on Sunday but hey let’s bring them all back because we aren’t in a 17 year drought anymore. The told you so’s and the emerging division in the fans next year are going to ruin most of the season. The real fans know the regular season doesn’t matter as much any more. It’s all about what you do in the playoffs and McDermott is great at collapsing under pressure in every single one of his losses.
