I've been wondering is there a way to get back our 4th rounder in doing so. One probably unlikely but still possible way would be a John Brown trade. There has been some cut chatter involving Brown but personally I would either shoot for a trade or even extend him one year in a way that can save some money this year. Just thinking out loud and wondering of any other moves we could make to snag that 4th rounder back. I think we could be a bit move flexible draftwise to target our weak spots that way. Beane is gonna need another executive of the year type offseason for this team to take the next step IMO.
Brate and Howard are both better blockers than Knox and have shown just as much if not more reliability recieving than Knox, which isn't exactly a bold statement but it is what it is. IMO both would get the nod as the #1 TE on the Bills.
I know people like to pull for the late round guy, but let's bring in some high end talent at the position. Time to join modern times. The Super Bowl alone has a chance to feature 4 TEs that are better than what we got. 4
I like him but other needs seem so outweigh that option. But I am open to the possibility. We'd have to take him at 30 and if the cubbard is bare at DE, CB, WR, or LB I'm down with it.
Get either Smith or Everett in here. We have no shot at the freak from Florida so we need to make a move. I know people like Henry but the Bills never go after the top guy.
You know, I have wondered if Morse put on 10-15 lbs that a move to RT could prolong his career.....and save money that would go to Williams. Dawkins, Ford, Feliciano, draft pick/FA, Morse......hmmmmmm.
