  1. Which screams maybe the guy figures it out in a contract year if ever. There's development then there's maybe waaaaay later. It's a no for me dawg.
  2. Awesome athlete/Bad football player.
  3. That's all he can do. I'm almost anti DB as BillInNYC but both these guys would be fantastic picks if a miracle somehow happened. Both guys are top 15 players imo.
  4. No. Oliver was never expected to take a snap at NT in the pros.
  5. Me either, but I'm hoping a pocket collapsing 1tech and a big nickle found on day 2 in the draft then that would be a couple steps in the right direction.
  6. I think you can usually wait till round 3 or later on NTs unless they have huge upside in the passrush department. I personally am on the Slaton or Shelvin train with our 3rd rounder. I might even consider moving up a little for Slaton as I believe he can also push the pocket enough to cause the QB some problems.
  7. Even if he has a great season and we can't afford him, tough to route against a dude like this. Great story and I'm pulling for him big time.
  8. If it looks like Obada's gonna work out they could extend him by the deadine (week 6 to 8ish?). If he has a solid full season, them pass rushers get PAID.
  9. Dude could come in, blow s*** up, and price himself right back out lol. Seriously though, guy could really be something if he puts it together.
  10. This is a signing that has nothing but upside. Totally for this instead of an old ass Kerrigan/Addison type. Oh, and guess what? This guy would of led the Bills in sacks last year.
  11. No doubt.....still scratchin my noggin on that one.......
  12. Addison and Hughes are both RDE players primilarily....unless one gets the axe, look for a guy who has strong side ability to be added..........Dunlap fool!!! lol
  13. You just said what I wanted too.👍
  14. So true. Shaq Mason single blocks him all day very effectively which when NE commits to the run they always hammer us. I've said it before a young 1tech is just as important of a draft pick as edge rusher this draft. I like the Florida and LSU prospects best so far. Slaton could really be a monster imo.
  15. I think finding a rookie 1tech who can collapse the pocket is just as important as finding an edge rusher. Pressure up the middle makes the greatest QBs of all time look average or even have bad games.
  16. Him in the 2nd and Slaton in the 3rd. That'll shut that NE s*** down. They are gonna try to power run and playaction teams to death.
  17. I believe they are looking to do the same thing, and it's a smart investment. On the other hand if a prospect is higher rated that is G/ eventual OT type I could see that too. For example, if Tevin Jenkins ( Oklahoma St) is available at 30 he'd be tough to pass up. He's a right side player but could be a fine player at G or T. Two dudes I love that match your description are Alabamas Landon Dickerson C/G and Oklahomas Creed Humphrey C/G. I love all 3 players.
  18. Man I'm on the fence there. Maybe if one of em' fell just far enough to only cost our 3rd rounder or lower. Like HappyDays said though Ossai at 30 is still a nice prospect, you'd just have to be a bit more patient. That will require a major trade, which looks much slimmer than me lol.
  19. Neither will be available past pick 20. Those two guys and Payne from Mich are the only 3 that have year 1 starter/impact potential. They all are probably gone by like I said pick 20 or so. All others are developmental prospects. I like him quite a bit but like you said he'll pay off later not right away.
  20. I'll also add, Star himself is totally upgradeable. He honestly doesn't require double teams much more than half the time. Totally unacceptable for what this D truely needs at the position.
  21. I couldn't agree with this post more.
  22. I know the patient Beane crowd will disagree, but a few nice 8-10 M deals we should of moved some money and took a shot at. Also no, we would not have had to "mortgage the future" to do so either. Fuller and Peterson both would have been awesome upgrades, even for a year.
