WR is a strong position for maybe one more year. You reload, or else next year you have to pay 15M a year to replace Sanders, which we probably do not have. You draft a WR and keep this train rolling.
While my first approach pretty much mirrors Paul Costas, I really do like McNeil. Maybe a scenario of using one of our 5ths, 6th, and 7th to move up in the 2nd round to get him?
Ya know, we would have a great shot at one of the 1st tier CB's or even a pass rusher so many crave for if we could pull it off. Dark horse #1 WR potential as well. I like the sound of 2 #1 WR or 2 #1 CB under contract for the next 4 years.
If we had the cash him and Oliver would be a devastating rotation at 3tech. I'd cut or trade both Zimmer and Harry and draft a 1tech in the 5th if it was possible and my call.
Awesome post and I agree spot on. I'm a 90% of the time build the lines guy but I believe the value lines up at WR,CB, maybe even RB this year. I would even suggest move up a bit higher in the 2nd to ensure the Bills can snag one of the guys in the "2nd tier" of CB's if need be.
I liked 4 guys.....in the following order lol.....Marshall ( he gives us youth and size and he can play! ), Jenkins, ETN, and Collins. All 4 are very good picks imo.....honerable mention to Einstein from ND lol
I was thinking the Bills would have to trade back into the 2nd round if they wanted him. Chiefs took him a good 20 picks or so earlier than I thought he'd go.
I wasn't banging the table but I definitely put my drink on it lol. Definitely a fan of this signing👍.
I'd also like to add that the loser of the battle could possibly fetch a future 4-6th round pick for those who are into those types of things. Think of it as a little bit later comp pick you freaks.
