    No matter what your opinion is though you're not going to sign a game wrecking defensive end to a fresh contract at 24M. The cap just went up in 30 million is the starting point for these guys.

    That game left a bad taste in my mouth as well so I'm pretty much right where you are and this issue. Greg got his ass kicked on quite a few plays. Without knowing if there was an injury issue or something going on I'm totally up in the air on whether to keep or let him go.

    Nice work and this reaffirms my stance on fixing the secondary in free agency and either trade them picks for proven defensive lineman or draft defensive lineman. If the right wide receiver prospect is there somewhere who fits us nicely you still have to be open-minded to that as well. Agree with you 100% on the running back situation as well.

    Even with the deep group of defensive lineman I don't trust this staff to get it right. Trade for the sure thing. But wait there's more😆....the team who gets our pick will totally nail the pick as the player will completely outplay his draft position. Oh you know it's true😂

    My only thing is he strong enough to play guard. He was also a 25 year old rookie so he may already be as strong as he’s really gonna get. Those 21 and 22 years olds still can grow like weeds lol

    Yes he had his second decent season after he had his first right before he came here. Makes you wonder why most come here and have stinker seasons though 👍

    The thing is you not only got to find that one guy but someone who can back him up for spells where it's not a complete downgrade. We had the guy to spell for a couple seasons in Jones but he no longer is even that player.

    The Phillips 9 1/2 sack season is the definition of flash in the pan. He was also horrendous vs the run that year and pretty much his entire career. People see 342 lbs and are like yo he gonna help vs the run. Every once in a blue moon he lucks out and shoots a gap in the run game but otherwise he is a liability vs the run.

    Many latest drafts I'm seeing my favorite guys are gone before we pick. So I guess throw me in the trade-up crowd 🤣. DE,DT,WR.....Grant is also one of mine, he is one of few rare DT I move up for.

    A lot of things magically fell into their laps it was crazy. Carter, Mitchell and DeJean in the draft, Barkley in free agency. It's going to be awhile before another team has all the chips fall like that again.

    While I'm NOT on the Higgins train he's definitely a notch above Price was. Higgins did pretty well in the games Chase missed. Price never could carry the load.
