  1. LOVE it.
  2. Spotrac is already assuming a decent bump with those numbers. It might go up a little more than their projections. Next season has a chance of being a partial tear down and a lot of younger cheaper guys filling bigger roles. Josh and some others will restructure too.
  3. That's true for about a dozen Bills players. It's the norm for the early years of any large contract.
  4. Yes. It came to be that the DA didn't have evidence to charge him.
  5. If this ends up all being true, my first hope is Von retires from football. That will be an out for some of the cap. I doubt there is another stipulation in the contract that would give them a break but will have to see. Von's initial contract wasn't that bad with an out after 3 years, but the restructures made it worse. This should be a lesson to those who feel "restructuring" every large contract has no risk to it. You can add Tre White's contract to this too. I know you have to use it at times but it's not a panacea.
  6. That wasn't holding on Steelers?
  7. It's all relative. The Giants' highest targeted player is TE Darren Waller with 384 yards and 1 TD.
  8. I don't know who will win today. That's why I'm going to watch the game.
  9. They are 2nd now after Watson's injury for Cleveland. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/injured-reserve/
  10. It was pretty bad stuff. Even my dad liked the Beatles "If I fell in Love with You".
  11. Hines has a cap hit of $940k this year and next year he has $500k dead cap hit. He won't be on the team and Beane gets $5M back. Harty has a $1.375M dead cap hit next year and Beane frees up $4M. Both won't be on the team next season and it frees up $9M. Bills are $42M in the hole to start next year and the $9M of cap is mandatory. Not great signings at all, but its cost is not extremely bad.
  12. One week at a time. This is the time of the year when things start changing after every week. I do like that Miami has to finish the year playing Dallas, Ravens (in Baltimore) and the Bills.
  13. Well that ought to get all the whiners on this board to log off.
  14. Yes he did and it hasn't worked out. It's why he is depressed IMO. Maybe the change will be good.
  15. Thanks, Logic, for what I consider to be the best post of this thread. After the first handful of games last season Dorsey has been figured out by DCs and in the last few weeks it's been absurdly bad. I've seen zero effort in specific game scheming against some average defenses. I have used the analogy this year of his play calling as "throwing darts". None of us have been privy to what McDermott has been talking to Dorsey about this season and if in the future it causes his dismissal, so be it. But nothing can change my mind that Dorsey HAD to be fired. I will say that Josh needs a steady hand at the tiller in an OC and Dorsey seemed to be the exact opposite of that. McDermott needs to look for that guy in the offseason as a number 1 priority. If he doesn't, I will not be happy. The season isn't over, and the Jets game will be more than interesting. I will be specifically looking at Josh Allen's demeanor in that game. My personal speculation is that Allen wanted Dorsey and it did not work out! He now is miserable about it, and it shows. It's the simplest answer to the Occom's Razor question.
  16. @SDShas done a great job with the Bills and Sabres sites. But the negativity lately has taken away a lot of why I enjoyed being here. In a weird way, it was better when the Bills were a perennial loser. The constant "female dogging" lately is just getting too much to bear. To those of you who still find some sort of comradery, even in a loss, I raise a glass to you. But as an old man, life is too short to attempt to enjoy football on gameday around here. I figure this is as good a thread as any to share my feelings. As always, Go Bills.
  17. @daz28 Congrats on the Bills loss!
  18. Another tough loss that has to change things at OBD. This offense has to score more than 2 TDs a game.
  19. Yes. It's the way games go. Turnovers in big games are big.
  20. Need a 3 and out from here.
