Good post. There will still be fans who believe there is some hug gap between all the teams 49th-53rd roster players and the PS guys. It's illogical to me. Especially as you posted about all the new rules since the pandemic.

Your newest Buffalo Bill... WR Jalen Virgil!

FWIW, Spotrac has Jonathan already on the IP Exemption list. Currently with 15 on Bills PS. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/_/year/2024 -
The Practice Squad is an expansion of the 53-player roster. If the roster was allowing 55, 2 of the PS players would be on the main roster. The bubble players on the PS are in essence no different than the last couple of players to make the squad. I see no reason to lessen their importance.

I don't know about Eliza Doolittle, but I grew up with the "Louie Effect". A swift kick in the a$$ always made me do my best.

Spotrac just put up the Bills PS numbers. $4.23M. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/_/year/2024

I'm satisfied with the PS with the exception of signing a PK. Lots of eggs in the BASSket. Just want to comment on where Beane is with $s. Spotrac has it $4.1M with all contracts (not top 51). That just covers the PS. He should get a million or more back once he does some IR injury settlements with guys they don't want to keep on IR. It's pretty tight right now. As the season goes on, he may have to dip into that Josh Allen reserve. Now we know why that hasn't been done yet.

Russ Wilson named starter in Pittsburgh

I don't think so this year. They got a pretty tough schedule. I don't see them over .500. -
No Bills claimed on waivers. Time to calm down?

I'm going to go with 12 of the 16 from the Bills roster and 4 from other teams. -

I believe @GunnerBilldid a breakdown. It was about league leading. More than a couple. -

IR Spector and sign an offensive player. It's currently 23 offense and 27 defense. -
True. At least we will see who they wanted to keep for the PS and IF they go hunting some other players from around the league.

NFL cuts, trades, and roster activity

How could anyone who posts here NOT hear that. Truth is the Bills needed a better WR than a STer in November of 2022. IMO. -

Still can't convince me that keeping Kumerow over Hodgins was the better choice. Hodgins is barely an NFL WR, but Kumerow was worse. Jake didn't even play last season. -
We will be getting the final roster and IR players. It is looking like there might be a good number of players IR'd. I figured that was a possibility. Not sure how the final cap $s will be after the dust settles.
-
The post above yours has Zach making it. McKitty is a real hopeful for me to make the PS.
-
You have 7 LBs listed but only 6 names with Milano going to IR. Does that mean the 58 goes to 57?

Bills acquire Jets DB and return man Brandon Codrington

Thank you for a rational take on the trade. EVEN IF he doesn't work out, they have an idea on how they would like to use him. Let them try to see if it works. I will admit, this board is getting a little crazy in their hot takes. -
DiNucci can be elevated for a game from the PS.
-
To start the roster, it sure is looks that way. Always can pick up a cut from another team later in the week after the dust settles.
-
I'm not sure Andy even makes the PS this year.
-
2 years injured and they save $1.1M getting rid of him is my guess. Broncos have less cap space than the Bills. I'm not saying Beane should get him, just saying back in '20 and '21 he was a pretty good WR.
