I remember when this guy was on the Bills Programs at the Rockpile.

I've not been one who has called for his head. He had squat to work with the first season and the 2nd wasn't all that much better. Daboll and Josh will be lighting it up next year and if Daboll is smart he waits for a good organization to go to. None of us know what kind of bonus Daboll will get this year either.

Yes he probably will get offers and everyone has given their opinions on it. I'm sticking with mine that Daboll wants a SB ring with the Bills and he is going to give that a couple years more.

I agree. BB wants to win this game desperately. That's the main reason to laugh all the more if the JESTS pull out a W.

Thanks for the info. I must of missed the news on bringing in a new system recently. That's good to hear. Like I said in one of my posts about this. There are so few challenges and that success rate is only around 40% is hard to see if things were improved. I'll bow out of this conversation trusting your news about this! I will pass this info to my brothers/nephews too (we texted about this last night) LOL.

If that is true I stand corrected. To clarify my comments are more about the Bills history of challenges more than that individual play.

If you read my post I said Tua is much more talented. Good grief, my statements are about tape on any unknown QB.

The Bills have a system. Evidence shows it needed to be improved. That's not saying the Bills have not addressed it this year and being that challenges are so few none of us know for sure. It is a good topic and it would benefit from having a reporter ask again about it. Not is a critical way but in an informative way.

Duck Hodges had a QB rating over 100 for his first few games. His last 3 averaged around 42. Tua is a much better athlete of course but what happened to the Duck was tape and it takes only 1 team's defense to find a weakness. Tua has way more to prove.

The NFL media "hyping" Tua is a good thing. He is unproven as of now and I'm hoping he is reading and believing the hype. He's got 2 games of tape and more is to come. NFL defenses adjust and scheme and he will get tested every week from here out.

I think you may want to use another word. Portend could mean something bad is about to happen too. Then again that might be what you mean.

Thank you for a sane post about all of this. There is also some mounting evidence that Josh's shoulder was a little bit more banged up than we all thought. Well coached teams scheme according to their opponent that week.

I'm one who takes all stats "with a grain of salt" but that is an incredible one. Josh improvement trajectory is wonderful and all reasonable data suggests the ceiling could be higher. Shout out to Mr. Diggs and the rest of the receivers' for helping in this. It's a fun time to be a Bills fan!

My opinion of how the Josh Allen contract goes is like this. The Bills will open with a "fair" contract and Josh and his agent will tweek it a bit and then he signs. It will be good for both Josh and the Bills.

It is encouraging. I would say his improved play probably has to do with Klein learning the system better and the "system" learning to use Klein correctly.

You're totally right Bangarang. The only way to look into these numbers would be using % of cap not $s.
