  1. I got $27 to pitch in to show how great this would be. Not so much about the money as it is to show how cool the fans think it would be. Maybe they could keep it at @Hammered a Lot place! LOL. That could get interesting! Who is got access to talk to Tre about a "Go Fund Me" site.
  2. First the Beasley question. Cole said he believed his skillset was needed in Buffalo more than the other teams interested. Also he wanted a lot of playing time. I'm sure he thought it much harder with Edelman in NE. Agree on Thuney but I wonder why BB tagged him. Curious what you think about the other bigger named FAs? David Andrews, White, Burkhead? Even guys like Copeland. Sure, I kid you Pats* fans about BB but my thoughts are more centered around some players not wanting to stick around for a rebuild. I say that because when a team doesn't have a QB they are in a rebuild of some kind.
  3. LOL. This thread was started by good news for Buffalo Bills fans. Actually I am willing to bet that every organization in the league thinks that the extension signed by Brandon Beane was a great thing for the Buffalo Bills. Yet people allow an albeit "intelligent" poster to derail your moment with his one true love........making Bills fans miserable. I for one will bow out of this thread with a "tip-of-my-hat" to Brandon Beane and move on like he said to the 4 game schedule left.
  4. If BB stays he will have 2 choices on QBs. Get a 2nd tier guy (Winston, Dalton, Trubisky, Brissett, etc) or get one in the draft. To get one in the draft will require him to trade a great player to a team to move up (as Beane did in 2018) and then with his limited picks in this year draft (no 3rd due to spying) trade next years 1st to move up the rest to get one. Either way it's a huge risk that we all know about. Just because you get one doesn't mean he will work out. Then again he can think he can make Trubisky a star. @Ghost_002! has already chimed in on his beliefs but he mainly is talking about players still under contract. One of which needs to be traded to move up in the draft. I'm going to use a UFA like Thuney as the "canary in the coal mine". If he signs a long term deal maybe they keep their UFAs................if he walks..................! Without a QB will other FAs want to go to Boston? All questions that won't be answered until May 2021. As to the 17 year thing, a lot of bad has to happen to get there but the next 2-3 years is no sure thing for the Pats*. When BB does leave the question will be, "What assets are left" and then who takes over the GM/HC? A miss there takes them out 3-4 more years.
  5. Agree about this week against the Steelers. As to the other comment. I know every team has tape on Josh running but the less it's being used in the recent tapes well the less tape there is on it. I also refuse to believe that the coaches and players are not aware that a win against the Steelers gives them real hope in winning out. They will put it on the line this Sunday night. If that happens the #2 seed is a real possibility and maybe with some help the #1.
  6. I fully expect Josh to run when it counts, in the playoffs. It's almost like they are removing that from the tape to save it for then.
  7. Absolutely a possibility. If it happens you got only 3 real choices. 1. Burn it down and start over. 2. Keep trying the same thing and hope it works. 3. Self examine your approach with what you have and try another road. I put faith that Beane and McDermott go with the 3rd option.
  8. The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts.
  9. Great PC from Beane. Just a personal comment. IF Brandon Beane was available this off season and interviewed for any of the open GM positions how could anyone think he wouldn't be able to choose were he goes? It just seems to me that if someone didn't their judgement is clouded and/or they know nothing about what is needed to be a successful GM. In the last year or so I feel so strong that the Pegula's/Beane/McDermott team is so right for Buffalo that I have stopped looking at them from a critiquing perspective and enjoy pursuing the "what do I think their up to" inquiries. I'm not saying that the are beyond reproach and for others that don't feel the way I do should stop doing what they do, I'm just satisfied with what I got in them and want to enjoy the ride a little more than in the past. LOL, my recent retirement just might have something to do with that but I don't care. I like where things are going! Go Bills!
  10. It wouldn't surprise me if guys like Thuney move on in FA.
  11. Nope, he's in a warm comfortable chair.
  12. It's an easier path for the Bills to get the #1 seed.
  13. I was just thinking the same thing. Let's see if BB starts to tank the rest of the season. He has to draft a QB.
  14. His anger over Beane's extension is so sweet.
  15. I know that sounds like a small number but he does have 9 INTs!
  16. I stumbled out of there walking like a toddler more than once.
  17. Good question. I'm not sure what their agents think they are worth. I bet they want multiple years contracts going forward.
  18. If I was Terry Pegula I would sign Brandon Beane to a long term contract and then make love to my wife.
