Exactly. Rooting for other teams to win/lose is cool but keep it to Week 16. There are just too many possibilities.

Dropping to the #4 seed is a concern and that's why the Patriots game will be treated as a regular game by McDermott. As to your question I looked at that last night and if the Colts win the Division and the Bills have a tie breaker. Better Conference record. Of course the Titans have the tie breaker on the Bills. The Ravens winning out is almost guaranteed. They have tie breakers against other Wildcard teams. A very good chance that the Ravens will seed above #7. Note to everyone: THE GOOD THING ABOUT ALL THESE SCENARIOS IS THIS. ALL OF NEXT WEEKS GAMES WILL BE PLAYED BEFORE THE BILLS PLAY MONDAY!!!!!! McDermott and the Bills will know what is on the line for the Pats* game. Bills DO NOT want to get seeded 4th. That means they could end up in KC for the 2nd game. NO WAY McDermott wants that. The starters will all play in the Pats* game for sure.

There's as many "types of fans" as peoples personalities. I have run the gamut when it's come to the Patriots. My first "best" memory of what football is all about was when my mother talked my father into taking us (2 older brothers and me) to meet the Bills at the airport after the Division Championship Game against the Boston Patriots. I was a little kid and it was crazy driving in that snowstorm. In the 90s I rooted the Pats on against the Fish. I had sympathy for Patriot fans. Since then you guys have had the biggest run in football history. It's going to take a lot of lopsided Bills wins to level my equilibrium. You are exactly right. That's why it "would be fun to watch" Josh Allen throw for 3 2nd half TDs to cap a 45-13 victory. Some Bills fans might call that "payback" but I will just call it an old fashioned a-whooping. The Bills need wins. They could still end up the 4th seed and that means a good chance of having to go to KC for the 2nd game. I want them playing in Buffalo for as long as they can before they have to face that option.

Well it's a done deal now. Odds are pretty good still for the #2 seed. Bills not playing until next Monday should give the Bills a good look at what could happen.
