  1. Whether McDermott rests the starters is up to him and his team. I will go along with whatever they decide. Personally I think Sean will start them. The Steelers on the other hand are in a completely different state of mind. 1. Ben is old and hasn't had time off in a long while. 2. They have played poorly and if not for one half of football they would be in a complete tailspin. 3. If they started Ben and PIT played bad and lost to the Browns it would continue the doubt. Starting Rudolph gives them an out. 4. Even if they won with Ben they still could be the 3rd seed so I think that is not extremely important to them. While it's smart for them to rest Ben the Bills are in a different situation. FWIW
  2. Well said. Personally I felt if there was one game that could of dampened this recent run it was the Bills losing to the Pats*. That monkey is now off their backs.
  3. "They are real and they are SPECTACULAR"!
  4. My calculator say the Colts have to beat the Jags too. If Jags win Ravens seed 6.
  5. Of course they will get a number of FAs. The thing that will be different is they got the pick of the litter in the past. So many available FAs clamored to get a ring in NE. If you're honest you will agree with that fact. BB will have to "compete" for all future FAs like any other team. When it comes to the Covid opt-out players Hightower will make a big impact when he returns but it is his last year of his contract. Will he stay? NE kept its UFA (or at least the ones they wanted to) for decades. I think a higher % will move on compared to the past. Chung will be 34 and Cannon turns 33 both will help but they are getting long in the tooth. Dan Vitale will be on his last year too and while he helps the run game and Special Teams he is not a playmaker. Bolden, LaCosse, Lee and Toran are JAGs. I'm not saying the Covid didn't hurt the Pats* but the return of the players next season is not as impactful as some are claiming. NE has a good amount of cash but like we talked about before Ghost a good chunk will be needed to re-sign their own FAs. FAs (both their own and other teams) will be very telling as to what the players (not us fans) feel about NEs future. But all that aside, BB has to find a QB that works or all of this other stuff is just academic!
  6. Well Bills fans I'm headed to bed to dream as Ralphie did in A Christmas Story of off-the-hip TD passes from Josh Allen to Stefon Diggs. Later dudes.
  7. I like your take on his play. I agree he has an issue with face to face tackling and I really had hoped he would improve this season. My amateurs' take on him is he either commits too early on the wrong line or waits and almost stops when a runner comes at him which allows him to be easily "juked" (Cam TD). That being said he is young and didn't have a camp to work on stuff like this so I will give him another year. I 100% believe the coaches see this too. I hope he can improve enough to become the asset he was drafted to be. Either way this is off season stuff to talk about for me. He's the Bills MLB until he isn't.
  8. That PIT fan of mine Randy said he sees hard times ahead for the Steelers. I do agree with him that they never should of gave Ben anything more than 1 year at a time extensions back last year.
  9. Nice. I've been getting texts from people around the country all evening. Everyone loved the BB slap down and they all said and I mean all of them said they want to see the Bills succeed. They all say something along the lines of "You guys deserve this team". That's even from a buddy of mine who is a long long time Steelers fan. He said, "I don't want to play you guys again in the playoffs". What a great night!
  10. I gave him a pass on that. Everyone wanted to be a star tonight.
  11. Same here. I'm glad I'm on Mountain Time. Here I was thinking that was their IQ.
  12. I'm not worried. If it was bad Mongo would of carried him to the locker room.
  13. For sure. Why is trying to insinuate he doesn't have much to work with, he's the GM. I usually don't comment on his comments but that was bad.
  14. Sorry it's late. I corrected it. I meant the Ravens lock up 5.
  15. Also Ravens will beat the Bengals and if Miami losses the Ravens lock up 5. If the Dolphins win (5 like you said) and Raven are 6. Allen starts. How long he plays is anybody's guess.
  16. Then Barkley throws 2 TDs and everyone says Allen is a "system" QB.
