  1. I'm just throwing out the type of guys they could be interested in like an O'Shaughnessey (JAX) or a Trey Burton (IND). Buffalo will be a destination spot next year and with the TE talent lacking there could be a lot of interest for UFAs. Like I said not top end UFAs just decent players. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/tight-end/
  2. I'm almost sure that after letting Kroft go they will sign a lower dollar UFA TE to come to camp to compete. There are a lot of those type guys in FA this year that can be got for $2 million or less. They'll try to see if a guy like that can excel in Buffalo. They will then TRY to draft a TE they like in the middle to later rounds if one comes to them. This is how I'm guessing they handle this but I'm pretty sure they don't spend a lot of a FA TE or a high draft pick like you said.
  3. I don't think Jennings on the PS is even being considered as a viable playoff player call-up option. If Stills is signed it's because they think he can help with a deep playoff run. They got 6 WRs on the main roster (one being gimpy). A total of 7 is not crazy. I would imagine they use Yeldon's spot for Stills and worry who to cut after Yeldon is eligible to return. They could cut Yeldon/Gilliam or someone like that and even see if they could go to the PS and be called up for games if needed.
  4. If he was done for the year they would IR him to open up his roster spot. If anything it shows they expect him back before the 3 game IR minimum.
  5. First thing I thought of LOL. Beane playing 4D chess while the rest of the league plays checkers. WIZARD!
  6. This thread could use a laugh. Great episode.
  7. LOL I couldn't help it. I helped engineer the manufacturing process of the variable screws that went into that plate!
  8. That really is not the point. If under last years scenario (2 teams with a bye) would they sit Mahomes if they and the other team had the byes locked up BUT the #1 seed was up in the air?
  9. If I was still a betting man this seems to me the compromise that McDermott will choose.
  10. They could have more than 1 guest I would assume. In general it would be a PR blunder not to have a few like you mentioned. If I was in a "High Level Meeting" (pun intended) about this I for sure would invite a nurse/doctor/patient (if possible) from Oishei Children's Hospital!
  11. I didn't see anyone answer you on this Bobby. Yes there is currently 2 spots open on the main roster. One from the Kumerow waiver which John Brown will take. The other right now is from Yeldon on the Covid list. It would leave the RBs light but they always could elevate the Williams kid from the PS if needed I guess. That would mean 7 WRs on the roster which is a lot but I think it's worth it with Beasley as an unknown.
  12. Before we put Beasley down like Barbaro lets look at some facts. Bills had Kumerow and The Duke on the PS. Kumerow got activated. Kumerow was waived and they hoped he would clear to go back to the PS. Kumerow got claimed. Kumerow left a spot open for a WR on the PS. Yes there is a chance that one of the PS WRs may need to get elevated but let's just wait and see.
  13. A few Synthes screws and plates and he'll be right as rain.
  14. First off I don't have a fear of any team the Bills will play in the Wildcard Round. Second I was replying about a question as to who the MIAMI DOLPHINS will play IF they win on Sunday. The answer I gave was they will lock a #5 seed with a win and THUS WILL PLAY THE AFCS DIVISION WINNER. Third I don't care if the Bills play the starters or not but in either case I want the Bills to win on Sunday.
  15. Yes a loss to Miami guarantees them the 5th seed which means they would play the AFCS Division Winner (Titans/Colts).
  16. Who they hoped to get back on the PS. That spot is still open.
  17. Yes to all your points. The AFC potentially has a couple other QBs who could rise. Just looking at the near term AFC/NFC QB situations the AFC is looking extremely tough.
  18. OK, I'll use this thread while I'm re-watching the game on NFL Network. Go Bills!
  19. Great posts and a lot of good points brought up. Thanks to you guys posting about specific plays and the in-depth observations. We could see something great with Mahomes/Allen battling each other. I really hope to see that in the AFCCG. Years from now maybe it will come down to which one works harder and wants it more. Josh's life and football journey is showing me he is pretty pretty hungry!
  20. I notice you live in Boston. You should invite over a few neighbors. Be sure to wear your mask, after all we stole their thunder!
  21. Most elite workers are in a lot of high level meetings.
