  1. Sure they could do all that but that is at 46 roster players. The Saints also suffer with NOT signing any of their current FAs in this scenario. That means DT Sheldon Rankins and FS Marcus Williams (among others) are moving on to new teams! They will be hurting no matter what people think.
  2. Poll needs a "Don't care" choice.
  3. You are most likely correct with the overall numbers. How the 5 year split of the signing bonus v roster bonus (Mahomes deal) is debatable but your overall idea is probably very close IMO. One thing I don't understand is Josh is due $6.9M in 2021 (4th year of rookie deal) and it seems you have $3.5M. 6 year extension I think is the minimum in length and I could see a 7 year contract but that also is debatable.
  4. Combine both of your posts and I think you got the answer. The only question is: How many years? My answer to that is probably 6 or 7.
  5. Ravens are just the last team to see nothing on the radar.
  6. Couldn't agree more. I have no specific proof but I'm sure that during the abbreviated camp a conscious decision was made to go all in on passing. When next camp/preseason comes the running game will be heavily addressed. That takes time and it starts with blocking schemes. They just didn't have time to do both well and this Front Office seems methodical in what it chooses to put its efforts into. Yeldon and Jones will be gone and they will be replaced. I think Moss/Singletary/TBD (not a high draft pick) along with the O line effort in run blocking will see a big improvement in rushing.
  7. Very few people know for sure. I surely don't. Like we both said, glad he's staying for at least 1 more year. He's got a lot of unfinished business to get the O better than it is now.
  8. I for the life of me don't get this "Do you want to face Mahomes or not?" and what that means to fans. The Bills organization and the fans have nothing to do with whether he plays or not and should just deal with the facts. If he plays he plays, if he doesn't he doesn't. We got no say in it and it shouldn't affect how we feel about it. I'm just speculating but I think the Bills coaches and players are feeling exactly the same way. As far as what the Chiefs staff, medical team and what the independent NFL doctor determine it's ALL ON THEM. Personally I'll watch the Chiefs Injury Reports just like I do any other week.
  9. Whether Daboll really wanted a job like the Chargers or not will not be known by us fans anytime soon if ever. IMO Daboll is doing the right thing. He has unfinished business to attend to with the Bills and yes part of that is because he is a fan of the team. He has a chance for a ring this year and returning for another campaign next year could very well be a repeat of this year success. Timing is very important and it's not his time yet to move up. When it is he will be in the top 3 or higher for "his" pick of where he goes. His worth is going to rise and he still is young enough to have patience to get ALL of the things he wants. Personally, Thanks for staying Dabs!
  10. Whether Brees stays or retires the Saints are $100 Million over the cap. They can't wiggle out of that this time. Hard times ahead IMO.
  11. As Bills fans we all know how dangerous this stuff is with our own Mitch Morse. Multiples instances of this kind only make things worse.
  12. I'm only going to go thru this one more time. There was a discussion in the GDT about Mahomes concussion. I brought up that he has had a history of it. I posted a thread that was titled Mahomes has had a previous concussion. My thread got merged with Yolo's thread about concussion protocols and my OP was posted first. Anyone thinking my post was in any way in bad taste is wrong.
  13. I'm not sure either. His official reason for being out today was concussion. It's a tough injury and the first thing I thought was did he ever have one before. I found the video and posted it. Posters can think whatever they want why I posted it but I know I did it for history purposes only.
  14. I agree @Warcoderedwith your imogi. Just saying it could happen and it would be nuts.
  15. If it comes down to Brady playing against the Bills that sure would be interesting.
  16. During the GDT this was being said over and over. I posted the video to show he has gone thru this before.
  17. I did not want "my own thread". I started a thread about his concussion before anyone else did. Lighten up.
  18. I just threw a fact out and yes people will be talking about this whether he plays or not.
  19. He looked the same way today after the hit. I'm just saying it seems to affect him greatly.
  20. EDIT: My original thread was merged into this thread. My thread was about Mahomes past history of a concussion. @YoloinOhio started a thread about the stages of concussion protocol.
