  1. Let's give a week after the pads come on to even get a hint on how things are progressing.
  2. With Shavers down for a while Shenault ought to get some decent reps. Knox needs to stay healthy and perform well when playing. I just don't know what his future holds.
  3. I've been wanting the Bills to keep 6 WRs but I'm not going to hope anymore. Ha. I hear you about him wanting a full-time job. If he can hold out for one more year, he has a good shot at WR5 next year. Moore on a 1-year contract and big money and little dead cap with Samuel. His PS skills sure doesn't hurt either.
  4. I think Shavers went into camp as WR6. That most likely means WR1 on the PS. First to get called up for injuries or an IR with a WR. If his ankle heals okay and fairly quickly, I don't see that changing. Especially with Shenault on the NFI list. The rest of the WR group (with the exception of the unknown Prather) are just PS hopefuls. At least that is how I see it.
  5. Spotrac has details now. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/21771/tj-watt
  6. 1,100 yards with 4.3 TDs per year equals that salary. I'm a "everyone eats" supporter.
  7. As an old man, I find I try to take people as they are now. It seems fairer.
  8. Personally, I like it A LOT. More teams should look into this. Brady is working on something that "could" be game changing.
  9. You evidently don't know much about saints. Many had very "questionable" young lives. That being said, you go on being you.
  10. If both stay healthy Kincaid could get 70 and Coleman 50.
  11. I show this YouTube video to friends showing them what a Bills home game is like. I remind them this is during the drought years. This is one my list of things to watch before the 1st game every season.
  12. It's nice to be able to count on something in this unpredictable world.
  13. That's for the 1st round pick who still hasn't signed.
  14. The Browns 2nd round pick (#33) signed a fully guaranteed contract too. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/97832/carson-schwesinger
  15. That's my pick. Have to have a WR in the hype!
  16. Brown is my favorite mean/with attitude player. Bernard is my favorite game changing D player. Cook is my favorite splash player. Josh is king of it all.
  17. Analysis is fun BUT human beings are full of emotions and all kinds of things that cannot be measured by analytics by both coaches and players. Every football play has 22 players all moving at various speeds and directions. How many yards does a team (or player) have in any given year is interesting. How many TDs, sacks, turnovers all mean something BUT....... In the end. It's a game of inches.
  18. Which brings me to my questions. How much is the players responsibility and how much on the coaches during a game. Also, specifically concerning the "everybody eats" scheme of Brady's, how much influence (play by play) does he have and how does he call it. If he has little influence than it's all on Josh and the players. Of course, that holds true on both sides of the ball.
  19. Just to let you know why I'm asking. It seems to me that Brady is establishing this "everybody eats" system as a true offensive scheme. If the team (for the sake of argument) has a bunch of WR2s, distributing the ball to the correct player becomes pretty important. More so than if you have a Ja'Marr Chase who gets the lion's share. I think his system has a good chance of success. I just wonder how much his doing is and how much is the players responsibility. Espceially Josh's. Thanks for your knowledge and input!
  20. I get the rules and the hot reads. Both are driven by the players on the field. I see your point about the iPad on the sidelines. I guess I wonder how much the OC can influence the nuances of plays during the drive with what he and his guys are seeing and how he could get the info the players.
