  1. Julio. As good as Pitts is he won't be enough for ATL to win their division.
  2. Pitts is going to spend his rookie contract between Ryan/Jones and a rebuild. I kind of feel sorry for him.
  3. I trust Brandon and his staff did their due diligence and picked the best player to help the team. The rest will be on the player selected and the Coaching Staff.
  4. A couple of weeks ago I was at my local Mom & Pop owned Sports Bar (Good Company) here in Colorado Springs in the afternoon. I've been going there forever and know just about everyone. Of course they all know I'm a Bills fan. A bunch of friends who are Bronco and Patriots* fans were talking football at the bar. I let it go for a few minutes and waited for a short pause in the conversation and then said, "What about that Josh Allen" loudly. I swear everyone looked at me and just bowed their heads and slowly shook them. A younger girl Kelly that I know was the only one to comment and she said, "Tim, the Bills fans and Josh Allen deserve each other". Everyone looked at me and nodded their heads. I must admit I got a little choked up from that. The football conversation ended. Brandon and Sean have put together something special and even fans from other teams know it.
  5. I can't remember who did that but it was awesome. I was looking for it this year but whoever did it must not anymore. One of the best things was it had the players that visited/interviewed with the Bills highlighted on it. Happy Draft Day and "Good Luck" to Brandon and his Wizard helpers! Do us proud!
  6. Interesting question. Spotrac has his market value at $8.3M which is somewhere between bridge and top backup money. My guess the best draft wise would be a 4th. Maybe a little higher right now with the low contract cost. If a starter or two go down from a decent team in the summer it could definitely be a 2022 3rd. I know everyone and their dog expects him to find a home next year but I'm not willing to see that as a fact. If he can't find a decent suitor as a potential bridge/starter next year and the Bills pony up a few more million he might want to stay another year.
  7. He lost the AFCCG and if you think he is OK with that I would have to disagree. I would hope he worked on muscle memory of his new throwing platform and technique. Continuously watching game film on recognizing defenses I'm sure has also been done. As for "type of passes" to improve. I'm going to think his screens and swing passes leave the most to improve on. I also think that will be a emphasis along with the running game/rush blocking this camp. I would like to see Josh lead the RBs better in his screen passes.
  8. Cole Beasley loves Josh Allen more................... https://www.facebook.com/BuffaloBills/videos/413784159667936/?t=5
  9. LOL a month ago I was talking myself into a RB at #30 and now I'm talking myself out of it in favor of a CB. Moss, the addition of Breida bringing some speed, Devin taking the offseason very seriously and even getting a chance to see what Antonio Williams could do in camp and preseason has got me saying that just may be enough this year. It seems if they can find another gunner to make Taiwan Jones replaceable and enabling the Bills to dress 3 pure RBs that may be the answer. I'm sure glad all this is up to Brandon Beane and not me!
  10. LOL most posters on the Bronco boards are calling this an Elway move. No one knows who is calling the shots.
  11. I totally get what you are saying BUT if the Broncos don't want a QB this year then with Von Miller coming back and either Lock or Bridgewater as QB they will win just enough games to keep out of the QB draft position for the next couple of years. It seems to me they are in "QB Purgatory" and IF they are going to draft a QB then the Bridgewater trade was foolish and they should of waited until they picked to do it IMO
  12. Exactly. Good grief at least have the trade ready to go and wait to see what happens on draft night. If they end up drafting a QB they just threw away $3M and a 6th rounder!
  13. Johnson and Wallace are FAs next year. As to last years $, drafting a starting quality CB will lower that number. As for this year the cap for CB is low even with Tre.
  14. LOL. Now all my friends who are Donkey fans here in Colorado will have the QB controversy as soon as Lock has a bad game! Way to go Elway.
  15. I'm not the one who knows if these players a slotted/worthwhile at their pick #'s but I do like the position/perceived talent mix a lot! I think the Bills can forego 1 year in not drafting an OL player. Next year is soon enough to restock the positions with the exception of maybe a C/G.
  16. If it's a passing league wouldn't a team wanting to get into shootouts want at least a competent backfield? A CB in the 1st couple of rounds seems like a need. Like I've said 3 times in the last few day the Bills only have Tre and Dane Jackson signed for next year.
  17. That's pretty crazy that all 3 of the big RBs don't go until the 3rd round!
  18. I'm not that big of a college football fan so I have to ask those who know. Is Newsome the type of CB that fits into McDermott's schemes? Is he at least a top of the 2nd round pick?
  19. Don't care if it's the 1st or 2nd round but Beane most likely will get a CB. If he can trade back a few spots and get one in the top of the 2nd it's fine with me. If he trades up a couple of spots to get one once again fine by me. It's a critical need also. No other position is that thin going into next year. Currently only Tre and Dane Jackson signed as CBs for next year.
  20. I think there could be a chance of that happening. It's what makes the draft exciting.
  21. I wonder if there are fans on the KC Chiefs board that lament waiving Ike B. a few years back? You know it would happen on this board is the reverse was true.
  22. We both agree on that. There is the right time for everything. A team like KC is much farther down the road in it's development than the Bills so I see no reason to push the "process" because of them. I say that because it's an opinion of a lot of fans (not necessarily you). This coming year will answer a lot of fans questions as to where the Bills are in their assent and how long that may or may not last. To me Josh Allen's progression or regression is much more important than lets say a better TE. As to the SB thing. It's a matter of opinion about a one and done team. As for the Falcons they didn't even get their one so imagine if that happened to this current Bills team how this board/fans would react. Other recent teams that tried that push like the Rams failed too. I will agree that the Eagles made that push a few seasons ago and reaped it's one year of benefits. I may be totally wrong but right now I believe that slow and steady improvement is what's needed THIS year. I also have a strong feeling that every Bills player knows they each has to incrementally improve to become champions or they will be wearing another jersey. I would like to see if that happens this year. Maybe my age has made me a bit more patient than others. LOL.
  23. Dynasty is a bit strong of a term for what Beane and McDermott are in the process of building. Lets all remember if it wasn't for the vision of those 2 men we would not be in the position to have this discussion in the first place. They are here for another 5 years and have what seems to be a good plan that I personally am happy to watch unfold. It's draft week and there is a lot of armchair GM talk about what the Bills NEED to do. I'll wait till Thursday and Friday to see what happens. For my money I will be SHOCKED if there is this huge move up in the 1st round by the Bills.
