  1. But QB is pretty important wouldn't you agree. You Pats* fans are in the position of having to hang your hopes on the 5th selected QB in the draft. It's just a fact. Bills fans through the drought had some great defenses and a lot of other things going for them and it didn't matter. We didn't have a QB. You and I have discussed that it's your opinion that it all lies in BBs hands for the future (next couple of years) how the team performs. I believe that is true and we will see what that brings this year. My question to you as a Pats* fan is this. What do you think will happen at home games in NE IF they start of very slow in the first 4 games, especially when Tommy is there for Game 4. Do you see the home fans with a lot of patience? I don't and I think that is important.
  2. It's tough for me to change my way of thinking but I am. For once I'm trusting the Management, the Coaches and the Players to bring it on home. I will cheer and watch the games and hope for the dream year!
  3. It is a good question and the way I see it the 90 or so guys competing is what Beane is bringing in. He is pretty smart and paid to worry about it. I'm going to wait until cutdown to see the team they assembled.
  4. Right on eball. Both camps want to see what next year brings. It seems to me Beane is not too worried about the overall contract. Allen's team want to see what the "also rans" are going to get. Bills are tight against the cap next year with Josh's 5th year option. Beane probably will want Josh's 5th year to look like Mahomes ($7M hit) if the cap doesn't rise more than what is stated now. They both know what the talks are about and both are not worried so I will not be either.
  5. Not going to happen. Kim would threaten to divorce Terry. Terry's response would be: Happy Wife, Happy Life.
  6. Right. As of now Fromm is a JAG to me and I don't yet see him having more value than Davis Webb. He's got to prove it.
  7. Yes exactly. It's the decision Beane and McDermott will have to make. Probably got to add ST value and whether they can find a way to hide the next ranked player for this season.
  8. Last year they paid Fromm to stay away from the team. This year they'll pay to make the team if he can. I got no problem is they want to move on but I'd like to see him in the rest of camp and preseason before I make up my mind.
  9. It's a tough balance to consider. I'm of the mind with Kumerow that if he is playing like a #5 WR or better in camp and preseason you don't worry about his age and keep him on the 53. Ultimately it's what Beane is paid to do so I feel pretty good about that. One thing I consider is although he is 29 in age in football years he is younger. He hasn't taken much of a beating and still could easily have 3-4 years of good play. This whole WR thing is an intriguing thing to watch this summer.
  10. I did the "duck and cover" clip in advance of the inevitable Covid debate. I'm impressed the thread did not melt down to that yet.
  11. Yes. It's in no way a lock but I think the Bills will be letting a number of guys go and not signing many big money players.
  12. Wow after thinking about it I wouldn't do it for a 3rd. Mitch is a great cheap insurance policy for the Bills. Mitch going to FA next year may get a 3rd as a comp for the Bills anyway. Indy will give up a 2nd for Wentz next year (if he is out for a long time) so that leaves me with their 1st which they won't likely do. It's a tough road they may be looking down. It will be interesting to see what will happen.
  13. Wow none of the Colts backups have ever taken a snap in the NFL.
  14. I'm sure you are right. ES is getting up in age (LOL) and I do expect Davis to spell him at times too. It will be a great way to keep him fresh.
  15. Yes it's on Spotrac's books already. Signing bonus amortization is for cap hits not for cash. NY Jets books are their books not the owners that is true. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-jets/cash/
  16. I was thinking more of a Saved By the Bell one.
  17. I pretty sure it's 5 "game situation" kicks during the team 11-11. Punters and Kickers also kick a lot during the Special Teams portion of practice.
  18. I'm not saying he is a horrible QB. I just personally think his play back then was heavily influenced by the team. Thus the Nick Foles success.
  19. If he misses 4 weeks Week 17 will probably be pretty important. Just saying.
  20. I can see your point and in a normal situation (non Covid cap stuff) I think this would have been a done deal already. If Josh signs for 6-7 years (a long contract) or more he will be a bargain at the end of it. That gives Beane flexibility to push some of the money back as the years go by. I really am not too worried about it.
  21. Josh throws the ball 70 yards. So as soon as Diggs catches it it's already a TD! Can you Digg it!
  22. I do remember when Bills fans held up Wentz as an example as to why the Bills will never go anywhere. Truthfully I was never a fan of his game. How do you like me(him) now?
