If Daboll is smart (and I believe he is very smart) he will have patience and pick where he wants to go. Another year or two with Buffalo and Allen and he will be interviewing GMs and Owners not the other way around. -

Absolutely wrong. All reports it's a 6 year extension after the 5th year option. ALL reports. -
Nice to see another Colorado Springs fan! The exact same thing happened to me a couple of years age. I sent their crap back and streamed ever since. I had been a customer for over 20 years with Sunday ticket every year. I sometimes believe this hit and miss discount stuff in Zip Code related.

I suspect the Lamar gets more per year on a shorter deal with less guaranteed money. If I had to guess. -

Great job by Beane and Josh. If Josh waited the price could easily have gone up but he did what was right for him and the team. -

Excellent. Right in line with what most of us were hoping for! Only thing left is to see how it lays out cap hit wise. Still hoping for a break next year on lowering the $23M 5th year option hit! -

Glad we got Bass-O-Matic. God there has been some bad kicks. -
Thanks for the details. I imagine the proof thing is pretty easy for him. Just wondering if a person pays for it with a different last name probably wouldn't matter much either. I just would like to make it as simple as possible for him.

Looks like I got my nephew to give me his student email address. Question I got for people who have been doin this. Is is better to just get the address and do it all on my own OR do I need him to do everything to get the access code and pay him back?

You don't need to tell me all that I experienced it too. I was going to games in the rockpile. I keep saying the residents of Erie County will have to decide what they want. BUT having a cheap ticket and buying a 12 pack is exactly what the other owners do not want. Tailgating is still part of the NFL experience in most NFL cities but it's not to the extent of OP. Good Luck with the new stadium and I hope it works out for the majority of residents of Erie County and surrounding areas! Go Bills!

Yes it is beautiful and I have plane tickets to come back in September and was just back in May. I have traveled with the Colorado Buffalo Bills Booster Club to away games in a number of cities. One of the prime things we did when deciding where to go was having an experience downtown and attending the game without having to rent a car. It saved so much money better spent on partying!
-
You taxpayers will have to determine all of that. Sorry to say but living away from Buffalo in 3 other cities for that last 40 years I see things differently. The First Ward is prime playground land and maybe that's more important than a few 125 year old row houses and an antiquated urban housing project. It's a question locals have to debate.

I agree with a lot you have to say BUT the NFL is not just interested in WE (Buffalo fans). The whole clubhouse and suites is for wealthy fans not from Buffalo too. Having them get a hotel room in Cheektowaga by the airport and going to OP doesn't showcase what Buffalo is doing today. Every year (sometimes more) I come back to Buffalo I am impressed with the downtown improvements. I got a lot of friends who travel to Buffalo often for business. They are impressed with what they see. Sometimes I think that full time residents don't see what others do. IMHO.

There is some but let's say you are right. It's more about the "Downtown Buffalo Experience" is shows to the rest of the country. OP does not do anything like that. Businessmen and women experience downtown Buffalo coming to the city for away games is a potential showcase for the city. I do challenge some Buffalonians to Google map the South Park/Louisiana/Ohio St triangle. Zoom in closely at it. Tell me a wasteland like that wouldn't be improved with a shiny new stadium?

I have to just say 2 things about a some of the downtown traffic issues. 1. I come back to Buffalo all the time and go to Sabres games. We normally park in the Sabres lots on Mississippi or Baltimore streets. It's a piece of cake getting into them but look at what drivers have to do to get back onto the 190 going either direction. Every time I look at my brother and say "we just got to go there, 200 yards away to get back on the 190". Instead you have to go through 5 or 6 intersections to get back on. It just needs a new entrance/exit ramp. 2. If the new domed stadium is over 65-67k seats it's too big. A whole bunch of stadiums in bigger cities have only that many seats. It can be done.

For fans that want to play around with where the stadium could fit (especially the downtown option) this tool that was popular a long time ago on the old BBMB and was fun to play with. It is a bit "clunky" to get use to using. 1st thing you got to do is click on the "Pick a New Spot" link. I click the Lucas Oil Stadium. Once you do that you need to maximize the window and drag it around. For a downtown spot placing the stadium in the South Park / Louisiana / Ohio St triangle is a pretty cool spot. The parking lots are placed kitty corner in the old Perry Projects. Also the Sabres lots are available along with Riverworks (If a pedestrian bridge was built). Also pretty close to having a new train station for mass transit on Michigan and South Park. Of course the exit and entrance ramps to the thruway would need to be redesigned. It WAS one of the most popular spots years ago. Most of the land is public and the few private companies (around Miami St) look like they could be cheap. Here is the site if anyone cares. https://staging.19ideas.com/stadium/list/?page=20 PS EDIT: The site still works but it seems it is closed to submitting new locations.

NFL 1. Big Ben announces his retirement at halftime of the season opener. 2. Tom Brady poisons himself with a Kale based smoothie by accidently confusing wild parsnip with poison hemlock. 3. After a rash of season ending injuries Fred Jackson comes out of retirement to assist Ryan Fitzpatrick in taking the WFT to the NFCCG. Ultimately to lose to the SF 49ers. BUFFALO 1. Buffalo Bills crushes the Single Season Scoring record with 716 points. 2. Terry Pegula is so excited during his Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Victory interview he "throws up" on national television. 3. Roger Goodell is so impressed with the 2021 Buffalo Bills he gifts a new domed stadium to the City of Buffalo.

He had used up his call ups. I doubt seriously they waived him because of his poor play.
-
That is all true but there is some points that need to be made. 1. GB cut him but we all know how Rodgers felt about that. 2. The Bills did cut him but that was situational. First they protected him 2 times during the season. Then they activated for gameday twice. The rules were a PS player could only be called up 2 times. After they used that up the only way he could play again for the Bills was to put him permanently on the 53 roster for what would have amounted to the rest of the season. Not much of a choice but to cut him. 3. NO picked him up as insurance if their starters couldn't go in the playoffs. That wasn't necessary so he was released. I'm not saying he will or should be kept on the Bills. I'm just showing that players on the bubble get cut for different reasons. I wish him luck and hope he has a great camp and preseason.
